< Isaiah 54 >

1 Sing, O barren, thou [that] didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou [that] didst not travail with child: for more [are] the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
“To dwom, Ao, ɔbonini, di ahurisie, wo a wonnwoo da; ma wo nne so na team, wo a awoɔ nkaa wo da; ɛfiri sɛ ɔbaa a woannya awoɔ da no mma adɔɔso sene deɛ ɔwɔ kunu,” Awurade na ɔseɛ.
2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them extend the curtains of thy habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
“Trɛ wo ntomadan no mu; twe wo ntomadan ntwamu no mu, nnyae yɛ; toa wo ntampehoma no so, bobɔ wo mpɛɛwa no so ma ɛntim yie.
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Ɛfiri sɛ wobɛtrɛ akɔ nifa ne benkum; wʼasefoɔ bɛgye aman afa na wɔatena wɔn nkuropɔn a asɛe no so.
4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame; for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
“Nsuro. Wʼanim rengu ase. Nsuro aniwuo. Wɔremmrɛ wo ase. Wo werɛ bɛfiri wo mmabunu mu aniwuo na wo kunayɛ mu ahohora nso, worenkae bio.
5 For thy maker [is] thy husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Na wo Bɔfoɔ yɛ wo kunu Asafo Awurade ne ne din, Israel Ɔkronkronni no yɛ wo Gyefoɔ. Wɔfrɛ no asase nyinaa so Onyankopɔn.
6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
Awurade bɛsane afrɛ wo te sɛ ɔyere a woagyaa no na ɔdi yea wɔ nʼakoma mu, ɔyere a ɔwaree mmabaawaberɛ mu na wogyaa no mpofirim,” wo Onyankopɔn na ɔseɛ.
7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
“Megyaa wo berɛ tiawa bi mu, nanso mefiri ayamhyehyeɛ a emu dɔ mu bɛsane de wo aba.
8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
Abufuo mmorosoɔ mu, mede mʼani hintaa wo mmerɛ tiawa bi, nanso mʼayamyɛ a ɛnsa da enti, mɛhunu wo mmɔbɔ,” deɛ Awurade, wo Gyefoɔ seɛ nie.
9 For this [is as] the waters of Noah to me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more overflow the earth; so have I sworn that I will not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
“Yei te sɛ Noa mmerɛ so a mekaa ntam sɛ meremma nsuyire nkata asase ani bio. Enti afei maka ntam sɛ meremma mebo mfu wo bio, na merenka wʼanim bio.
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Sɛ mmepɔ woso, na nkokoɔ tutu a, me dɔ a ɛnsa da a mewɔ ma wo no renhinhim na mʼasomdwoeɛ apam no rentwam,” sei na Awurade a ɔwɔ ahummɔborɔ ma mo no seɛ.
11 Oh thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, [and] not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
“Ao, kuropɔn a ahum abubu wo na wɔnkyekyee wo werɛ, mede aboɔ anintɔnka bɛsiesie wo, na mede aboɔdemmoɔ ayɛ wo fapem.
12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
Mede bogyaboɔ bɛto wʼabantifi afasuo, na mede abohemaa a ɛhyerɛn ayɛ wʼapono, na mede aboɔdemmoɔ ayɛ wʼafasuo nyinaa.
13 And all thy children [shall be] taught from the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of thy children.
Awurade bɛkyerɛkyerɛ wo mmammarima nyinaa, na wo mma asomdwoeɛ bɛdɔɔso.
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Wobɛtim wɔ tenenee mu: Wo ne nhyɛsotrasoɔ ntam kwan bɛware; worensuro biribiara. Ahupoo bɛkɔ akyirikyiri, na ɛremmɛn wo.
15 Behold, they shall surely assemble [but] not by me: whoever shall assemble against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Sɛ obi to hyɛ wo so a, na ɛmfiri me; na deɛ ɔto hyɛ wo so no de ne ho bɛma wo.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
“Hwɛ, ɛyɛ me na mebɔɔ ɔtomfoɔ a ɔfite gyasramma mu ma ɛdɛre na ɔde ahoɔden bɔ akodeɛ a ɛfata ne dwumadie. Na ɛyɛ me na mabɔ ɔsɛefoɔ sɛ ɔmmɛsɛe adeɛ;
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] from me, saith the LORD.
akodeɛ biara a wɔabɔ atia wo no rennyina na tɛkrɛma biara a ɛbɛbɔ wo soboɔ no, wobɛbɔ agu. Yei ne Awurade nkoa agyapadeɛ ne wɔn bembuo a ɛfiri me,” Awurade na ɔseɛ.
