Isaiah 50
1 Thus saith the LORD, Where [is] the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors [is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
௧யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்: நான் உங்கள் தாயை அனுப்பிவிட்டபோது, அவளுக்குக் கொடுத்த தள்ளுதற்சீட்டு எங்கே? அல்லது எனக்குக் கடன் கொடுத்த எவனுக்கு உங்களை நான் விற்றுப்போட்டேன்? இதோ, உங்கள் அக்கிரமங்களின்காரணமாக நீங்கள் விற்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; உங்கள் பாதகங்களின்காரணமாக உங்களுடைய தாய் அனுப்பிவிடப்பட்டாள்.
2 Why, when I came, [was there] no man? when I called, [was there] none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish becometh putrid, because [there is] no water, and dieth for thirst.
௨நான் வந்தபோது ஒருவனும் இல்லாமற்போனதென்ன? நான் கூப்பிட்டபோது மறுமொழி கொடுக்க ஒருவனும் இல்லாமற்போனதென்ன? மீட்கமுடியாதபடிக்கு என் கரம் குறுகிவிட்டதோ? விடுவிக்கிறதற்கு என்னிடத்தில் பெலனில்லாமற்போயிற்றோ? இதோ, என் கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலினாலே கடலை வற்றச்செய்து, நதிகளை வெட்டாந்தரையாக்கிப்போடுகிறேன்; அவைகளிலுள்ள மீன் தண்ணீரில்லாமல் தாகத்தால் செத்து நாற்றமெடுக்கின்றது.
3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
௩நான் வானங்களுக்குக் காரிருளை உடுத்தி, சணலாடையால் அவைகளின் மூடுதிரையாக்குகிறேன்.
4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth my ear to hear as the learned.
௪இளைப்படைந்தவனுக்கு சமயத்திற்கேற்ற வார்த்தை சொல்ல நான் அறியும்படிக்கு, யெகோவாவாகிய ஆண்டவர் எனக்குக் கல்விமானின் நாவைத் தந்தருளினார்; காலைதோறும் என்னை எழுப்புகிறார்; கற்றுக்கொள்கிறவர்களைப்போல, நான் கேட்கும்படி என் செவியைக் கவனிக்கச்செய்கிறார்.
5 The LORD GOD opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
௫யெகோவாவாகிய ஆண்டவர் என் செவியைத் திறந்தார்; நான் எதிர்க்கவுமில்லை, நான் பின்வாங்கவுமில்லை.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
௬அடிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு என் முதுகையும், தாடைமயிரைப் பிடுங்குகிறவர்களுக்கு என் தாடையையும் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன்; அவமானத்திற்கும் உமிழ்நீருக்கும் என் முகத்தை மறைக்கவில்லை.
7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
௭யெகோவாவாகிய ஆண்டவர் எனக்குத் துணைசெய்கிறார்; ஆகையால் நான் வெட்கப்படுவதில்லை; நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போவதில்லையென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; ஆதலால் என் முகத்தைக் கற்பாறையைப்போலாக்கினேன்.
8 [He is] near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together; who [is] my adversary? let him come near to me.
௮என்னை நீதிமானாக்குகிறவர் அருகிலிருக்கிறார்; என்னுடன் வழக்காடுகிறவன் யார்? ஏகமாக நிற்போமாக, யார் எனக்கு எதிராளி? அவன் என்னிடத்தில் வரட்டும்.
9 Behold the Lord GOD will help me; who [is] he [that] shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
௯இதோ, யெகோவாவாகிய ஆண்டவர் எனக்குத் துணைசெய்கிறார்; என்னை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்க்கிறவன் யார்? இதோ, அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒரு ஆடையைப்போலப் பழையதாகிப் போவார்கள்; பொட்டுப்பூச்சி அவர்களை அரிக்கும்.
10 Who [is] among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh [in] darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and rely upon his God.
௧0உங்களில் எவன் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து, அவருடைய தாசனின் சொல்லைக் கேட்டு, தனக்கு வெளிச்சமில்லாததினால் இருட்டிலே நடக்கிறானோ, அவன் யெகோவாவுடைய நாமத்தை நம்பி, தன் தேவனைச் சார்ந்துகொள்வானாக.
11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that encompass [yourselves] with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks [that] ye have kindled. This shall ye have of my hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
௧௧இதோ, நெருப்பைக் கொளுத்தி, நெருப்புப்பொறிகளால் சூழப்பட்டிருக்கிற நீங்கள் அனைவரும், உங்கள் நெருப்பின் வெளிச்சத்திலும், நீங்கள் மூட்டின அக்கினிஜூவாலையிலும் நடவுங்கள்; வேதனையில் கிடப்பீர்கள்; என் கரத்தினால் இது உங்களுக்கு உண்டாகும்.
