< Isaiah 50 >
1 Thus saith the LORD, Where [is] the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors [is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye wacho, Ere baruwa mar weruok manyiso nine ariembo minu? Koso ngʼato nitie mane achiwene mondo achulgo gope ma an-go? Nousu nikech richou; kendo minu noriembi nikech ketho mage.
2 Why, when I came, [was there] no man? when I called, [was there] none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish becometh putrid, because [there is] no water, and dieth for thirst.
Kane abiro iru, angʼo momiyo ne ok ayudo ngʼato? Kane aluongou, ere gima omiyo ne ok ngʼato odwoka? Koso uparo ni bada ne chiek ma ok nyal konyou? Uparo ni aonge gi teko mar resou? Wuoyona matin nomiyo nam oduono, kendo ne amiyo aore obedo piny motwo mi rech manie eigi otho kendo otop nikech onge mar pi.
3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
Aloko polo doko maratengʼ ti mana ka gima aume gi pien gugru.
4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth my ear to hear as the learned.
Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto osemiyo apongʼ kod puonj, mondo omi angʼe wach manyalo hoyogo ngʼama ni e chandruok. Ochiewa pile okinyi kokinyi, kendo oyawo ita mondo abed gi winjo ka ngʼat mipuonjo.
5 The LORD GOD opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto oseyawo pacha kendo ok asetamore winjo wachne; bende ok asedok chien.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
Ne achiwora ne joma goya, ne joma pudho yie tika; kendo ne ok apando wangʼa ne joma nyiera kendo ngʼulo kuoma olawo.
7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Nikech Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto konya, ok anayud wichkuot. Kuom mano, asechomo wangʼa tir kuome maonge luoro kendo angʼeyo maber ni ok nayud achaya.
8 [He is] near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together; who [is] my adversary? let him come near to me.
Jal mabiro ngʼadona bura ni koda. Kare koro en ngʼa manyalo donjona? Owuogane oko koro! En ngʼa modonjona? Owuogane okwera.
9 Behold the Lord GOD will help me; who [is] he [that] shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
En mana Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto ema konya. En ngʼa mabiro ngʼadona bura? Gibiro ti mana ka law, ma olwenda ochamo.
10 Who [is] among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh [in] darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and rely upon his God.
En ngʼatno e dieru moluoro Jehova Nyasaye kendo mako weche jatichne? Weuru ngʼat mawuotho e mudho kaonge ler ogen kuom nying Jehova Nyasaye kendo osud machiegni gi Nyasache.
11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that encompass [yourselves] with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks [that] ye have kindled. This shall ye have of my hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
