Isaiah 42
1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; my elect, [in whom] my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଧାରଣ କରୁ, ଏପରି ଆମ୍ଭ ଦାସଙ୍କୁ, ଯାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଚିତ୍ତ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ, ଏପରି ଆମ୍ଭର ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ଆତ୍ମା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛୁ; ସେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ନ୍ୟାୟବିଚାର ଆଣିବେ।
2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
ସେ ଚିତ୍କାର କିମ୍ବା ଉଚ୍ଚ ଶବ୍ଦ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ରାଜପଥରେ ଆପଣା ରବ ଶୁଣାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment to truth.
ସେ ଛେଚା-ନଳ ଭାଙ୍ଗିବେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ସଧୂମ ବଳିତା ଲିଭାଇବେ ନାହିଁ; ସେ ସତ୍ୟତାରେ ନ୍ୟାୟବିଚାର ଆଣିବେ।
4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he hath set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
ସେ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ନ୍ୟାୟବିଚାର ସ୍ଥାପନ ନ କରିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ନିସ୍ତେଜ ଓ ହୀନସାହସ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ; ଆଉ, ଦ୍ୱୀପଗଣ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ରହିବେ।
5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and expanded them; he that spread forth the earth, and that which it produceth; he that giveth breath to the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein.
ଯେ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରି ବିସ୍ତାର କଲେ; ଯେ ଭୂତଳ ଓ ତଦୁତ୍ପନ୍ନସକଳ ବିଛାଇଲେ; ଯେ ତହିଁ ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ସକଳ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ନିଶ୍ୱାସପ୍ରଶ୍ୱାସ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗମନାଗମନକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାଣ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି;
6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thy hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
“ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଧର୍ମରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ ଧରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବୁ, ଆଉ ଅନ୍ଧମାନଙ୍କର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ବନ୍ଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ କାରାକୂପରୁ ଓ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ବସିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀଗୃହରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ,
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, [and] them that sit in darkness out of the prison-house.
ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ନିୟମ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଦୀପ୍ତି ସ୍ୱରୂପ କରି ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବୁ।
8 I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ: ଏହି ଆମ୍ଭର ନାମ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଗୌରବ ଅନ୍ୟକୁ, କିଅବା ଆପଣା ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଖୋଦିତ ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣକୁ ଦେବୁ ନାହିଁ।
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
ଦେଖ, ଆଦ୍ୟ ବିଷୟମାନ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେଲା, ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ନୂତନ ବିଷୟମାନ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରୁ; ସେହି ସବୁ ଅଙ୍କୁରିତ ହେବାର ପୂର୍ବେ ତଦ୍ବିଷୟ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଉ।”
10 Sing to the LORD a new song, [and] his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is in it; the isles, and their inhabitants.
ହେ ସମୁଦ୍ରଗାମୀମାନେ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥିତ ସମସ୍ତେ, ହେ ଦ୍ୱୀପଗଣ ଓ ତନ୍ନିବାସୀମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ନୂତନ ଗୀତ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କର।
11 Let the wilderness and its cities lift up [their voice], the villages [that] Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ଓ ତହିଁର ନଗରସକଳ, କେଦାରର ବସତି ଗ୍ରାମସକଳ ଉଚ୍ଚ ରବ କରନ୍ତୁ; ଶୈଳନିବାସୀମାନେ ଗାନ କରନ୍ତୁ, ପର୍ବତଗଣର ଶିଖରରୁ ସେମାନେ ମହାନାଦ କରନ୍ତୁ।
12 Let them give glory to the LORD, and declare his praise in the isles.
ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଗୌରବ ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ଦ୍ୱୀପସମୂହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତୁ।
13 The LORD will go forth as a mighty man, he will stir up jealousy like a man of war: he will cry, yes, roar; he will prevail against his enemies.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବୀର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ବିଜେ କରିବେ; ସେ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାର ନ୍ୟାୟ ଆପଣା ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗ ଉତ୍ତେଜିତ କରିବେ; ସେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱର କରିବେ, ହଁ, ସେ ମହାନାଦ କରିବେ; ସେ ଆପଣା ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ରୂପରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବେ।
14 I have long time held my peace; I have been still, [and] restrained myself: [now] will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦୀର୍ଘ କାଳ ନୀରବ ହୋଇଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ଆପଣାକୁ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ କରିଅଛୁ; ଏବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରସବକାରିଣୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପରି ଡାକ ଛାଡ଼ିବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏକାବେଳେ ଦୀର୍ଘ ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ଟାଣି ବ୍ୟଗ୍ରଚିତ୍ତ ହେବା।
15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers [to be] islands, and I will dry up the pools.
ଆମ୍ଭେ ପର୍ବତ ଓ ଉପପର୍ବତଗଣକୁ ଧ୍ୱଂସିତ କରିବା ଓ ତହିଁର ତୃଣସବୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ କରିବା; ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ନଦ-ନଦୀକୁ ଦ୍ୱୀପ ଓ ଜଳାଶୟକୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ କରିବା।
16 And I will bring the blind by a way [that] they knew not; I will lead them in paths [that] they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do for them, and not forsake them.
ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ଧମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ପଥ ଦେଇ ଆଣିବା; ଯେଉଁ ମାର୍ଗ ସେମାନେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସେହି ସବୁ ମାର୍ଗରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କଢ଼ାଇବା; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ ଆଲୁଅ ଓ ବକ୍ରସ୍ଥାନସବୁକୁ ସଳଖ କରିବା। ଏହିସବୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭେ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବା ନାହିଁ।
17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye [are] our gods.
ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଖୋଦିତ ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଛାଞ୍ଚରେ ଢଳା ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣକୁ “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଈଶ୍ୱର” ବୋଲି କୁହନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ବିମୁଖ ଓ ଅତିଶୟ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବେ।
18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
ହେ ବଧିରମାନେ, ଶୁଣ; ହେ ଅନ୍ଧମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନାଅ।
19 Who [is] blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger [that] I sent? who [is] blind as [he that is] perfect, and blind as the LORD'S servant?
ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ଛଡ଼ା ଅନ୍ଧ କିଏ? ଅବା ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରେରିତ ଦୂତ ପରି ବଧିର କିଏ? ଆମ୍ଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମିଳନରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକ ପରି ଅନ୍ଧ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦାସ ପରି ଅନ୍ଧ କିଏ?
20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନେକ ବିଷୟ ଦେଖୁଅଛ, ମାତ୍ର ମନୋଯୋଗ କରୁ ନାହଁ; ତାହାର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୁକ୍ତ ଅଛି, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଶୁଣୁ ନାହିଁ।
21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make [it] honorable.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଧର୍ମ ସକାଶୁ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ମହତ ଓ ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେଲେ।
22 But this [is] a people robbed and pillaged; [they are] all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison-houses; they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
ମାତ୍ର ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଅପହୃତ ଓ ଲୁଟିତ; ସେସମସ୍ତେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ପାଶବଦ୍ଧ ଓ କାରାଗାରରେ ଲୁଚାଯାଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ହୃତଧନ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି ଉଦ୍ଧାରକର୍ତ୍ତା କେହି ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ଲୁଟିତ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଫେରାଇ ଦିଅ ବୋଲି କହିବା ପାଇଁ କେହି ନାହିଁ।
23 Who among you will give ear to this? [who] will hearken, and hear for the time to come?
ଏହି କଥାରେ ଯେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କରିବ ଓ ଶ୍ରବଣ କରି ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ୍କାଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏପରି ଲୋକ କିଏ ଅଛି?
24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient to his law.
ଯାକୁବକୁ ଲୁଟିତ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଅପହାରକମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ କିଏ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ? ଯାହାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପାପ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ଯାହାଙ୍କ ପଥରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଗମନ କରିବାକୁ ସମ୍ମତ ନୋହିଲେ, ଅଥବା ସେମାନେ ଯାହାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଆଜ୍ଞାକାରୀ ନୋହିଲେ, ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କି ଏହା କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି?
25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire around, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid [it] not to heart.
ଏହେତୁ ସେ ତାହାର ଉପରେ ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡତା ଓ ଯୁଦ୍ଧର ପ୍ରବଳତା ଢାଳିଦେଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ତାହା ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଜ୍ୱଳି ଉଠିଲା, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଜାଣିଲା ନାହିଁ; ପୁଣି, ଅଗ୍ନି ତାହାକୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ କଲା, ତଥାପି ସେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲା ନାହିଁ।
