Isaiah 41
1 Keep silence before me, O isles; and let the people renew [their] strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
१अहो द्वीपांनो, तुम्ही माझ्यापुढे शांत राहा; राष्ट्रे त्यांची शक्ती संपादन करोत; ते जवळ येवोत आणि बोलोत; चर्चा आणि वादविवाद करण्यास आपण एकमेकांजवळ येऊ.
2 Who raised up the righteous [man] from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made [him] rule over kings? he gave [them] as the dust to his sword, [and] as driven stubble to his bow.
२पूर्वेकडून येणाऱ्याला कोणी उठविले? त्यास त्याच्या क्रमाने चांगल्यासेवेसाठी कोणी बोलावले आहे? त्याने राष्ट्रे त्याच्यापुढे दिली आणि तो राजावर अधिकार चालवीन असे केले; त्याने त्यांना धुळीसारखे त्याच्या तलवारीच्या आणि उडवलेल्या धसकटासारखे त्याच्या धनुष्याला दिले.
3 He pursued them, [and] passed safely; [even] by the way [that] he had not gone with his feet.
३तो त्यांचा पाठलाग करतो आणि ज्या जलद वाटेवर मोठ्या कष्टाने त्यांच्या पावलाचा स्पर्श होतो, ते सुरक्षित पार जातात.
4 Who hath wrought and done [it], calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I [am] he.
४ही कृत्ये कोणी शेवटास आणि सिद्धीस नेली? सुरवातीपासून पिढ्यांना कोणी बोलाविले? मी, परमेश्वर, जो पहिला आणि जो शेवटल्यासह आहे तोच मी आहे.
5 The isles saw [it], and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.
५द्वीपे पाहतात आणि भितात; पृथ्वीच्या सीमा भीतीने थरथर कापतात; त्या जवळ येतात.
6 They helped every one his neighbor; and [every one] said to his brother, Be of good courage.
६प्रत्येकजण त्याच्या शेजाऱ्याला मदत करतो आणि प्रत्येकजण एक दुसऱ्याला म्हणतो, धीर धर.
7 So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, [and] he that smootheth [with] the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It [is] ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, [that] it should not be moved.
७तेव्हा सुतार सोनाराला धीर देतो, आणि तो जो हातोड्याने काम करतो जो ऐरणीसह काम करतो, त्यास धीर देऊन सांधण्याविषयी, ते चांगले आहे. असे म्हणतो मग ते सरकू नये म्हणून तो ते खिळ्यांनी घट्ट बसवतो.”
8 But thou, Israel, [art] my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
८परंतु तू, इस्राएला, माझ्या सेवका, याकोबा, माझ्या निवडलेल्या, अब्राहाम याच्या संताना,
9 [Thou] whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said to thee, Thou [art] my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
९मी तुला पृथ्वीच्या सीमांपासून परत आणले आणि मी तुला खूप लांबपासूनच्या दूर ठिकाणाहून बोलावले, आणि मी तुला म्हटले, तू माझा सेवक आहेस; मी तुला निवडले आहे आणि तुला नाकारले नाही.
10 Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yes, I will help thee; yes, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
१०भिऊ नकोस, कारण मी तुझ्याबरोबर आहे. चिंतातुर होऊ नकोस, कारण मी तुझा देव आहे. मी तुला शक्ती देईन, आणि मी तुला मदत करीन, मी आपल्या विजयाच्या उचित उजव्या हाताने तुला आधार देईन.
11 Behold, all [they that were] incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that contend with thee shall perish.
११पाहा, जे सर्व तुझ्यावर रागावले आहेत ते लज्जित व फज्जित होतील; जे तुला विरोध करतात ते काहीच नसल्यासारखे होतील आणि नष्ट होतील.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, [even] them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of naught.
१२जे तुझ्याबरोबर भांडण करतात त्यांचा शोध तू करशील आणि तरी ते तुला सापडणार नाहीत. जे तुझ्याविरूद्ध लढाई करतात ते शून्यवत, काहीच नसल्यासारखे होतील.
13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying to thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
१३कारण मी, परमेश्वर तुझा देव, तुझा उजवा हात धरतो, मी तुला सांगतो: घाबरू नकोस; मी तुला मदत करीन.
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, [and] ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
१४हे किटका, याकोबा आणि इस्राएलाच्या मनुष्या; घाबरू नको. मी तुम्हास मदत करीन ही परमेश्वराची घोषणा आहे, इस्राएलाचा पवित्र प्रभू, तुमचा उद्धारक आहे.
15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat [them] small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
१५पाहा, मी तुला नवीन व दुधारी, मळणीच्या घणाप्रमाणे करीत आहे; तू डोंगर मळून त्यांचा चुराडा करशील; तू टेकडयांना भुसांप्रमाणे करशील.
16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, [and] shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
१६तू त्यांना उफणशील आणि वारा त्यांना वाहून दूर नेईल; वावटळ त्यांना विखरील. आणि तू परमेश्वराच्या ठायी हर्ष करशील, इस्राएलाच्या पवित्र प्रभूच्या ठायी तू उत्साह करशील.
17 [When] the poor and needy seek water, and [there is] none, [and] their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, [I] the God of Israel will not forsake them.
१७खिन्न झालेले आणि गरजवंत पाण्याचा शोध घेतात, पण तेथे काहीच नाही आणि त्यांची जीभ तहानेने कोरडी पडली आहे; मी परमेश्वर त्यांच्या प्रार्थनेला उत्तर देईल; मी, इस्राएलाचा देव, त्यांना सोडणार नाही.
18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
१८मी उतरणीवरून खाली प्रवाह आणि दऱ्यांमधून झऱ्याचे पाणी वाहायला लावीन; मी वाळवंटात पाण्याचे तळे आणि शुष्क भूमीवर पाण्याचे झरे वाहतील.
19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah-tree, and the myrtle, and the oil-tree; I will set in the desert the fir-tree, the pine, and the box-tree together:
१९मी रानात गंधसरू, बाभूळ, व मेंदीचे, जैतून वृक्ष वाढतील. मी वाळवंटात देवदारू, भद्रदारू आणि सरू एकत्र वाढण्यास कारण करील.
20 That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
२०मी हे यासाठी करीन की, लोकांनी पाहावे, ओळखावे आणि एकत्रित समजावे, परमेश्वराच्या हाताने हे केले आहे, इस्राएलाचा पवित्र प्रभू ज्याने हे उत्पन्न केले आहे.
21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong [reasons], saith the King of Jacob.
२१परमेश्वर म्हणतो, आपला वाद पुढे आणा; याकोबाचा राजा म्हणतो, आपल्या मूर्तींसाठी आपले उत्तम वादविवाद पुढे आणा.
22 Let them bring [them] forth, and show us what shall happen: let them show the former things, what they [are] that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us things to come.
२२त्यांनी आपले वादविवाद आमच्याकडे आणावे; त्यांनी पुढे यावे आणि काय घडणार आहे ते सांगावे, पूर्वीच्या होणाऱ्या गोष्टी आम्हास सांगा, म्हणजे आम्ही त्यावर काळजीपूर्वक विचार करू आणि त्याची परिपूर्तता कशी होईल ते जाणू. म्हणजे ह्यागोष्टी आम्हास चांगल्या कळतील.
23 Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye [are] gods: yes, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold [it] together.
२३भविष्यात होणाऱ्या गोष्टीविषयी सांगा, म्हणजे जर तुम्ही देव असाल तर आम्हास समजेल; काही तरी चांगले किंवा वाईट करा, म्हणजे आम्ही विस्मीत आणि प्रभावीत होऊ.
24 Behold, ye [are] of nothing, and your work of naught: an abomination [is he that] chooseth you.
२४पाहा, तुमच्या मूर्ती आणि तुमचे कृत्ये काहीच नाहीत; जो कोणी तुम्हास निवडतो तो तिरस्करणीय आहे.
25 I have raised up [one] from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as [upon] mortar, and as the potter treadeth clay.
२५“मी उत्तरेपासून एकाला उठविले आहे आणि तो आला आहे; तो सूर्याच्या उगवतीपासून जो माझ्या नावाने हाक मारतो त्यास मी बोलावून घेतो, आणि तो चिखलाप्रमाणे सत्ताधाऱ्यास तुडविल, जसा कुंभार चिखल पायाखाली तुडवतो तसा त्यांना तुडविल.”
26 Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and before time, that we may say, [He is] righteous? verily, [there is] none that showeth, verily, [there is] none that declareth, verily, [there is] none that heareth your words.
२६आम्हास कळावे, म्हणून पहिल्यापासून कोणी जाहीर केले? आणि त्यावेळेपूर्वी आम्ही असे म्हणावे, तो योग्य आहे? खरोखर त्यांनी काहीच सांगितले नाही, होय! तू सांगितलेले कोणीच ऐकले नाही.
27 The first [shall say] to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.
२७मी सियोनेला प्रथम म्हणालो, पाहा, ते येथे आहेत; मी यरूशलेमेकडे अग्रदूत पाठविला आहे.
28 For I beheld, and [there was] no man; even among them, and [there was] no counselor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
२८जेव्हा मी पाहिले, तेथे कोणी नाही, मी त्यांना विचारले असता, एका शब्दाने तरी उत्तर देऊ शकेल असा त्यांच्यामध्ये कोणीही नाही, एक चांगला सल्ला देऊ शकेल असा कोणी नाही.
29 Behold, they [are] all vanity, their works [are] nothing: their molten images [are] wind and confusion.
२९पाहा, त्यातले सर्व काहीच नाहीत, आणि त्यांची कृत्ये काहीच नाहीत; त्यांच्या धातूच्या ओतीव प्रतिमा वारा आणि शून्यवतच आहेत.
