Isaiah 32

1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

زمانی خواهد رسید که پادشاهی عادل بر تخت سلطنت خواهد نشست و رهبرانی با انصاف مملکت را اداره خواهند کرد.

2 And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a great rock in a weary land.

هر یک از آنان پناهگاهی در برابر باد و طوفان خواهد بود. آنان مانند جوی آب در بیابان خشک، و مثل سایهٔ خنک یک صخرهٔ بزرگ در زمین بی‌آب و علف خواهند بود؛

3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

و چشم و گوش خود را نسبت به نیازهای مردم باز نگه خواهند داشت.

4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

آنان بی‌حوصله نخواهند بود بلکه با فهم و متانت با مردم سخن خواهند گفت.

5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said [to be] bountiful.

در آن زمان، افراد پست و خسیس دیگر سخاوتمند و نجیب خوانده نخواهند شد.

6 For the vile person will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry; and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

هر که شخص بدکاری را ببیند، او را خواهد شناخت و کسی فریب آدمهای ریاکار را نخواهد خورد؛ بر همه آشکار خواهد شد که سخنان آنان در مورد خداوند دروغ بوده و آنان هرگز به گرسنگان کمک نکرده‌اند.

7 The instruments also of the churl [are] evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.

نیرنگ و چاپلوسی اشخاص شرور و دروغهایی که آنان برای پایمال کردن حق فقیران در دادگاه می‌گویند، افشا خواهد گردید.

8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.

اما اشخاص خوب در حق دیگران بخشنده و باگذشت خواهند بود و خدا ایشان را به خاطر کارهای خوبشان برکت خواهد داد.

9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear to my speech.

ای زنانی که راحت و آسوده زندگی می‌کنید، به من گوش دهید.

10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.

شما که الان بی‌غم هستید، سال دیگر همین موقع پریشانحال خواهید شد، زیرا محصول انگور و سایر میوه‌هایتان از بین خواهد رفت.

11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip ye, and make you bare, and gird [sackcloth] upon [your] loins.

ای زنان آسوده خیال، بترسید و بلرزید، لباسهای خود را از تن درآورید و رخت عزا بپوشید

12 They shall lament for the breasts, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.

و ماتم بگیرید، زیرا مزرعه‌های پر محصولتان به‌زودی از دست می‌روند و باغهای بارور انگورتان نابود می‌شوند.

13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns [and] briers; also, upon all the houses of joy [in] the joyous city:

بله، ای قوم من، برای خانه‌های شادتان و برای شهر پر افتخارتان گریه کنید، زیرا سرزمین شما پوشیده از خار و خس خواهد شد.

14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

کاخهایتان ویران و شهرهای پر جمعیت‌تان خالی از سکنه خواهند شد. برجهای دیدبانی‌تان خراب خواهند شد و حیوانات وحشی و گورخران و گوسفندان در آنجا خواهند چرید.

15 Until the spirit shall be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness shall be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be counted for a forest.

اما یک بار دیگر، خدا روح خود را از آسمان بر ما خواهد ریخت. آنگاه بیابان به بوستان تبدیل خواهد شد و بوستان به جنگل.

16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

انصاف بر بیابان حکفرما خواهد شد و عدالت بر بوستان.

17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance for ever.

و ما از صلح و آرامش و اطمینان و امینت همیشگی برخوردار خواهیم شد.

18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting-places;

قوم خدا در کمال امنیت و آسایش در خانه‌هایشان زندگی خواهند کرد.

19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.

حتی جنگل از بارش تگرگ صاف خواهد شد و شهر با خاک یکسان خواهد گردید.

20 Blessed [are] ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth [thither] the feet of the ox and the ass.

بله، خدا قوم خود را برکت خواهد داد آن گونه که به هنگام کشت زمین، محصول فراوان خواهد رویید و گله‌ها و رمه‌هایشان در چراگاههای سبز و خرم خواهند چرید.
