Isaiah 3
1 For behold, the LORD, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the rod and the staff, the whole support of bread, and the whole support of water,
ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನೂ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಆಧಾರವಾದ ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆಹೂದದಿಂದಲೂ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
2 The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಶೂರ, ಯುದ್ಧಭಟ, ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿ, ಶಕುನದವನು, ಹಿರಿಯನು,
3 The captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counselor, and the skillful artificer, and the eloquent orator.
ಸೇನಾಪತಿ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ, ಆಲೋಚನಾಪರನು, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕನು ಮತ್ತು ವಾಕ್ಚಾತುರ್ಯವುಳ್ಳವನು ಆಗಿರುವ ಇವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
4 And I will give children [to be] their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
“ಬಾಲಕರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.”
5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the elder, and the base against the honorable.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು, ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನೆರೆಯವನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವನು. ಹುಡುಗನು ವೃದ್ಧನ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ, ನೀಚನು ಘನವಂತನ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸುವರು.
6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, [saying], Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and [let] this ruin [be] under thy hand:
ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುವನು, “ನಿನಗೆ ವಸ್ತ್ರವಿದೆ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೀನು ಆಳುವವನಾಗು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಹಾಳಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಳಗಿರಲಿ.”
7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be a healer; for in my house [is] neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು, “ನಾನು ಉಪಶಮನ ಮಾಡುವವನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ನವಾಗಲಿ, ವಸ್ತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜಾಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವನು.
8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings [are] against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಹಾಳಾಗಿದೆ, ಯೆಹೂದವು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಅವರ ನಡೆನುಡಿಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರಭಾವದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆರಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
9 The show of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide [it] not. Woe to their soul! for they have rewarded evil to themselves.
ಅವರ ಮುಖಭಾವವೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಸೊದೋಮಿನಂತೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡದೆ ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ತಮಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
10 Say ye to the righteous, that [it shall be] well [with him]: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
ನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗೆ ನೀವು, “ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗಲಿ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವರು.
11 Woe to the wicked! [it shall be] ill [with him]: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
ಕೆಡುಕರಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ! ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡೇ ಇರಲಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
12 [As for] my people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they who lead thee cause [thee] to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಗರು ಬಾಧಿಸುವರು. ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಳುವರು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವರು ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀವು ನಡೆಯುವ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಜನರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಲು ಎದ್ದರು.
14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the elders of his people, and with their princes: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor [is] in your houses.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ, ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, “ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟವನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಬಡವರಿಂದ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದದ್ದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ.
15 What mean ye [that] ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the LORD God of hosts.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು, ಚೂರುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಡವರ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಡುವುದರ ಅರ್ಥವೇನು?” ಎಂದು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ವಾದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with extended necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing [as] they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರು ಅಹಂಕಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕತ್ತು ತೂಗುತ್ತಾ, ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ನಾಜೂಕಿನಿಂದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡುತ್ತಾ, ಕಾಲುಗೆಜ್ಜೆ ಜಣಜಣಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ;
17 Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will uncover their secret parts.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರ ನಡುನೆತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹುಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಅನುಮತಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೋಳುಮಾಡುವರು.”
18 In that day the LORD will take away the show of [their] tinkling ornaments [about their feet], and [their] cauls, and [their] round tires like the moon.
ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಕಾಲಂದಿಗೆ, ತುರುಬು ಬಲೆ, ಅರ್ಧಚಂದ್ರ,
19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
ಜುಮಕಿ, ಬಳೆ, ಕುಲಾವಿ, ಶಿರವಸ್ತ್ರ,
20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the head-bands, and the tablets, and the ear-rings,
ಕಂಠ ವಸ್ತ್ರ, ಕಾಲ ಸರಪಣಿ, ಡಾಬು, ಸುಗಂಧ ಭರಣಿ, ತಾಯಿತಿ,
21 The rings, and nose-jewels,
ಮುದ್ರೆ ಉಂಗುರ, ಮೂಗುತಿ,
22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping-pins,
ಹಬ್ಬದ ಉಡಿಗೆ ತೊಡಿಗೆ, ಮೇಲಂಗಿ, ಶಾಲು, ಕೈಚೀಲ,
23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
ಕೈಗನ್ನಡಿ, ನಾರುಮಡಿ, ಮುಡಿ ಮುಕುಟ, ಮೇಲ್ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಈ ಸೊಗಸು ಭೂಷಣಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವರು.
24 And it shall come to pass, [that] instead of sweet smell there shall be an offensive odor; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; [and] burning instead of beauty.
ಆಗ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ದುರ್ವಾಸನೆ, ನಡುಪಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಹಗ್ಗ, ಜಡೆಯ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಬೋಳುತಲೆ, ರೇಷ್ಮೆಬಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟು, ಸೌಂದರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಬರೆ, ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಂದೊದಗುವುದು.
25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡಸರು ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಶೂರರು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವರು.
26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she [being] desolate, shall sit upon the ground.
ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಲಾಪವು, ದುಃಖವು ತುಂಬಿರುವುದು. ಅವಳು ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕಳಾಗಿ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಳು.
