< Isaiah 26 >

1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will [God] appoint [for] walls and bulwarks.
Hat hnin vah, Judah ram dawk hete la heh a sak awh han. Kaimouh koe kacakpounge kho ao. Rungngangnae rapannaw hoi kânguenae na poe han.
2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
Yuemkamcu e tamikalan miphun a kâen nahanelah, kho longkhanaw hah paawng awh haw.
3 Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.
BAWIPA ni ama kâuep ni teh a lung kathounge naw hah ka kuep e lungmawngnae thungvah, a khetyawt han.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH [is] everlasting strength:
BAWIPA hah poe kâuep awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Jehovah Cathut teh kangning e lungsong doeh.
5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, [even] to the ground; he bringeth it [even] to the dust.
Ahni teh, a rasangnae hmuen, ka talue e kho dawk kaawm e naw hah a pabo han. Hote kho hah a rahnoum sak han. Hote kho hah rahnoum sak vaiteh, vaiphu dawk a ta han.
6 The foot shall tread it down, [even] the feet of the poor, [and] the steps of the needy.
Khok ni khopui a coungroe han. Mathoenaw e khok, a thakatawnnaw e khok ni a coungroe han.
7 The way of the just [is] uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
Tami kalannaw e lamthung teh a lan. Oe kalan e BAWIPA, nama ni, tami kalannaw e lamthung hah na lan sak.
8 Yes, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of [our] soul [is] to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
Oe BAWIPA kaimouh teh, nange lawkcengnae lamthung dawk nang hah na ring awh. Na min hoi pahnimhoehnae teh, ka muitha ni a doun e lah ao.
9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yes, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments [are] in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Tangmin vah ka muitha ni Bawipa nang na doun. Ka muitha ni ka thungvah, Bawipa nang na tawng. Bangkongtetpawiteh, talai dawk lawkcengnae ao toteh, talaivan kaawm e naw ni lannae hah a kamtu awh han.
10 Let favor be shown to the wicked, [yet] he will not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.
Tamikathoutnaw teh, hawinae a hmu awh nakunghai, lannae kamtu thai awh hoeh. Ahni teh, lannae ram dawk patenghai kathout hno hah a sak awh teh, BAWIPA e taluenae hah banglahai ngai awh hoeh.
11 LORD, [when] thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: [but] they shall see, and be ashamed for [their] envy at the people; yes, the fire of thy enemies shall devour them.
Oe BAWIPA, na kut hah na dâw eiteh, ahnimouh ni hmawt awh hoeh. Na miphunnaw hanelah, na lung patawnae hah ahnimouh patue nateh yeirai phawt sak haw. Na tarannaw hoi kâkuen e hmai ni ahnimouh teh, kang naseh.
12 LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
Oe BAWIPA, nang ni kaimanaw hah lungmawngnae na poe han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, kaimouh hanelah nang ni na sak e seng doeh.
13 O LORD our God, [other] lords beside thee have had dominion over us; [but] by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
Kaimae BAWIPA Cathut, nang hloilah alouke bawipanaw ni kaimouh teh na uk awh toe. Hatei, nange na min duengdoeh kaimouh ni ka pâkuem awh.
14 [They are] dead, they shall not live; [they are] deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
Ahnimouh teh a due awh toe. Bout hring awh mahoeh toe. Ka dout e lah ao awh dawkvah, thaw awh mahoeh toe. Hatdawkvah, Bawipa, tho nateh, ahnimanaw hah raphoe nateh, bout pâkuem kawi pueng hah raphoe pouh haw.
15 Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation; thou art glorified: thou hadst removed [it] far to all the ends of the earth.
Bawipa nang ni, nama e miphun na pung sak toe. Oe BAWIPA nang ni nama e miphun na pung sak teh, lentoenae na kamnue toe. Ramrinaw hai na pakaw toe.
16 LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer [when] thy chastening [was] upon them.
Oe BAWIPA, runae kâhmo toteh, nang koe ahnimouh teh a tho awh. Nang ni ahnimouh na yue toteh, a ratoum awh.
17 As a woman with child, [that] draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, [and] crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.
Oe BAWIPA, camovawn e napui ni, camo khe hnin a hnai toteh, a pataw dawkvah a hram e patetlah kaimouh hai nange hmalah hot patetlah ka o awh.
18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance on the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
Kaimouh teh camo ka vawn awh niteh, patawnae puenghoi ka khang awh ei nakunghai, kahlî doeh ka khe awh. Kaimouh teh talai van vah, hloutnae hah ka tâcawt sak thai awh hoeh. Talaivan kaawm naw hai rawm awh hoeh.
19 Thy dead [men] shall live, [together with] my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew [is as] the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
Bawipa nange tami kadout naw teh a hring awh han. Ahnimae tak teh a thaw awh han. Vaiphu dawk kaawm e naw, kâhlaw hoi thaw awh vaiteh, lunghawi la a sak awh han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Bawipa nange tadamtui teh, angnae tadamtui patetlah ao teh, talai ni hai kadout e naw hah a khe han.
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee; hide thyself as it were for a little moment until the indignation shall be overpast.
Ka taminaw tho awh. Namamae rakhan thung kâen awh nateh, na hnuklah tho hah taren awh haw. A lungkhueknae a roum totouh, dongdeng kâhrawk awh.
21 For behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, BAWIPA ni talai van kaawm e naw hah, a yonae patetlah runae poe hanelah, ama onae koehoi a tâco. Hat toteh, talai ni amae van rabawk e thi hah a pâpho han. Talai dawk thei lah kaawm e naw hah bout ramuk thai mahoeh toe.
