< Isaiah 16 >
1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, to the mount of the daughter of Zion.
Ziganụ ụmụ atụrụ dịka onyinye nye onye na-achị ala ahụ site na Sela, gafee nʼụzọ ọzara ruo ugwu nke Ada Zayọn.
2 For it shall be, [that], as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, [so] the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noon-day; hide the outcasts; discover not him that wandereth.
Moab na-asị, “Nwee mkpebi na mmụọ gị,” “Kwubie okwu nʼihe ị kpebiri. Mee ka onyinyo gị dịrị ka abalị nʼetiti oke ehihie. Zobe ndị gbapụrụ ọsọ ndụ, ekpugheela onye na-achọ ebe nchebe.
4 Let my outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
Ka ndị Moab achụpụrụ achụpụ nọrọ nʼetiti unu, ghọrọ ha ebe nchebe pụọ nʼaka onye mbibi ahụ.” Onye mmegbu ahụ nwere ọgwụgwụ, mbibi ga-akwụsịkwa, onye ahụ na-azọda mmadụ ga-agwụchakwa site nʼala ahụ.
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
A ga-ehiwe otu ocheeze site nʼịhụnanya; otu nwoke ga-anọkwasị nʼelu ya site nʼikwesị ntụkwasị obi, otu onye sitere nʼụlọ ikwu Devid, bụ, onye mgbe ọ na-ekpe ikpe, na-achọ ikpe ziri ezi, na-emekwa ngwa ime ezi omume.
6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; [he is] very proud: [even] of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: [but] his lies [shall] not [be] so.
Obodo ahụ na-anya isi, nke nganga juru obi? Ugbu a, lee na ịnya isi ha erijughị afọ.
7 Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kir-hareseth shall ye mourn; surely [they are] stricken.
Kwasie akwa ike, nwee mwute, nʼihi achịcha e ji mkpụrụ osisi a mịkpọrọ amịkpọ mee nke Kia Hereset.
8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, [and] the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down her principal plants, they have come [even] to Jazer, they wandered [through] the wilderness: her branches are extended, they have gone over the sea.
E, ndị eze mba dị iche iche azọdala ọtụtụ osisi vaịnị ọma ndị a niile nʼụkwụ. E, osisi vaịnị ndị gbatịrị ruo Jeza, ruokwa nʼọzara, nke mgbọrọgwụ ha gbasara ruo nʼọnụ osimiri.
9 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
Nʼihi ya, ana m akwa akwa dị ka ndị Jeza si akwa akwa nʼihi ubi vaịnị Sibma. Anya mmiri akwa m ga-ede gị ahụ gị Heshbọn, na gị Eleale, nʼihi na e meela ka ụzụ mkpu ọṅụ nke na-ada mgbe a na-ewe ihe ubi nʼime gị gharakwa ịdị ọzọ.
10 And gladness is taken away, and joy from the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in [their] presses; I have made [their vintage] -shouting to cease.
Ewepụla ọṅụ na obi ụtọ site nʼubi na-amị mkpụrụ ọma, ọ dịghị onye na-abụ maọbụ tie mkpu ọṅụ nʼubi vaịnị a gbara ogige; ọ dịkwaghị onye na-azọchapụta mmanya m vaịnị nʼebe ịzọcha mmanya; nʼihi na emeela m ka iti mkpu ọṅụ niile kwụsị.
11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for Kir-haresh.
Mkpụrụobi m na-enwe mwute nʼihi Moab dịka ụbọ akwara, ime mmụọ m kwa nʼihi Kia Heres.
12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
13 This [is] the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.
Ihe ndị a niile bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị kwuru banyere Moab na mbụ,
14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of a hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant [shall be] very small [and] feeble.
ma ugbu a Onyenwe anyị na-ekwu, sị, “Tupu afọ atọ agachaa, dịka onye e goro ọrụ si agụ afọ, a ga-eleli ugwu niile Moab nwere, ya na igwe mmadụ ya bara ụba. Ndị fọdụkwara ndụ ga-adị naanị mmadụ ole na ole bụrụkwa ndị na-adịghị ike.”
