< Isaiah 16 >

1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, to the mount of the daughter of Zion.
Prae ukkung khaeah tuucaa to paek oh, Sela vangpui hoi praezaek khoek to, Zion canu ohhaih mae khoek to ah paek oh.
2 For it shall be, [that], as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, [so] the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
Moab nongpatanawk loe angmah ih tabu to caeh taak moe, kamhet rumram tavaa baktiah, Arnon tui angkathaih ahmuen ah om o tih.
3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noon-day; hide the outcasts; discover not him that wandereth.
Poek het ah loe toenghaih hoiah lok to takroek ah; aqum ah kaom na pakhra tahlip baktiah, athun ah doeh omsak ah; haek ih kaminawk to hawk ah; kaproeng kaminawk to haek hmah.
4 Let my outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
Moab prae thung hoi proeng kaminawk to nangmah khaeah omsak ah loe, parokung ih ban hoi loih thai hanah nihcae abuephaih ah om ah; nang pacaekthlaek kami to om ai boeh moe, parokung doeh boenghaih ah phak boeh; pacaekthlaek kaminawk loe prae thung hoi anghmat o boih boeh.
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
Palungnathaih hoiah angraeng tangkhang to caksak tih; loktang hoiah kakoi angraeng tangkhang nuiah anghnu kami loe, toenghaih hoiah lok to caek tih, toenghaih to karangah omsak ueloe, David ih kahni imthung ah lok to caek tih boeh.
6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; [he is] very proud: [even] of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: [but] his lies [shall] not [be] so.
Moab amoekhaih to a thaih o boeh; anih loe amoek parai; poeksanghaih, palunglenhaih, palungphuihaih hoiah khosak, toe anih lok amlaihaih loe azom pui ni.
7 Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kir-hareseth shall ye mourn; surely [they are] stricken.
To pongah Moab kaminawk loe angmacae hanah hang o tih, kami boih hang o tih; Kir Hareseth vangpui loe amro boeh pongah, nihcae loe hang o tih; to vangpui loe danpaekhaih to yok boeh.
8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, [and] the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down her principal plants, they have come [even] to Jazer, they wandered [through] the wilderness: her branches are extended, they have gone over the sea.
Heshbon ih lawknawk loe zaek boih boeh moe, Sibmah ih misurkungnawk doeh zai boih boeh; prae ukkungnawk mah kahoih koek misurkungnawk to khaeh o ving boeh; tadoknawk loe Jazer khoek to phak moe, praezaek khoek to amzam o; anih ih tanghangnawk loe amzam o moe, tuipui khoek to phak.
9 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
Jazer vangpui to ka qah haih baktih toengah, Sibmah ih misurkung doeh ka qah haih han; Aw Heshbon hoi Elealeh, ka mikkhraetui hoiah kang bawh o han boeh! Kahmin thingthai to pakhrik moe, cang aah nathuem ah anghoehaih hoiah hang ih lok loe vaihi angqai krang boeh.
10 And gladness is taken away, and joy from the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in [their] presses; I have made [their vintage] -shouting to cease.
Oephaih to lak pae ving boeh pongah, lawk thungah anghoehaih om ai boeh; misur takha thungah laasakhaih hoi hanghaih om mak ai boeh; hanghaih to ka boengsak boeh pongah, misurthaih pasawhhaih ahmuen ah mi mah doeh misurthaih pasaw o mak ai boeh.
11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for Kir-haresh.
Ka palungthin loe Moab hanah katoeng baktiah tuen ueloe, kai ih takoh doeh Kir Haresh hanah katoeng baktiah tuen tih.
12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
Moab loe angmah ih hmuensang ah caeh moe, angpho qawt naah lawkthuih hanah hmuenciim ah akunh, tiah amtueng, toe anih mah pazawk thai mak ai.
13 This [is] the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.
To atue hoi kamtong Moab kawng pongah Angraeng mah hae tiah lok thuihcoek boeh.
14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of a hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant [shall be] very small [and] feeble.
Toe Angraeng mah, Vaihi tamna ah thlai ih kami hanah saning kroek pae baktih toengah, Moab prae lensawkhaih loe saning thumto thungah, pop parai angmah ih kaminawk boih hoi nawnto hnaphnaehaih ah om o tih, kanghmat kaminawk doeh tamsi o ueloe, thazok o tih boeh, tiah a thuih.
