Isaiah 12

1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thy anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

Na rĩrĩ, mũthenya ũcio nĩũkoiga atĩrĩ, “Nĩngũkũgooca, Wee Jehova. O na gũtuĩka nĩwaandakarĩire-rĩ, nĩũnjehereirie marakara maku na ũkaahooreria.

2 Behold, God [is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH [is] my strength and [my] song; he also is become my salvation.

Ti-itherũ Mũrungu nĩwe ũhonokio wakwa; nĩwe ndĩrĩĩhokaga na ndigage gwĩtigĩra. Jehova, o we Jehova, nĩwe hinya wakwa na rwĩmbo rwakwa; nĩatuĩkĩte ũhonokio wakwa.”

3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Mũrĩtahaga maaĩ ithima-inĩ cia ũhonokio mũkenete.

4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Mũthenya ũcio nĩmũkoiga atĩrĩ: “Cookeriai Jehova ngaatho, kaĩrai rĩĩtwa rĩake; menyithaniai ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ ũrĩa ekĩte, na mũhunjie muuge atĩ rĩĩtwa rĩake nĩ itũũgĩrie mũno.

5 Sing to the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this [is] known in all the earth.

Inĩrai Jehova, nĩgũkorwo nĩekĩte maũndũ marĩ riiri; na mũtũme ũndũ ũcio ũmenywo nĩ thĩ yothe.

6 Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great [is] the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Anĩrĩrai mũine mũrĩ na gĩkeno, inyuĩ andũ a Zayuni, nĩgũkorwo Ũrĩa Mũtheru wa Isiraeli, o ũcio ũrĩ gatagatĩ-inĩ kanyu, nĩ mũnene mũno.”
