Isaiah 10
1 Woe to them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness [which] they have prescribed;
धिक्कार तिनीहरूलाई जसले अन्यायपुर्ण कानुन जारी गर्छन् र अनुचित नियम लेख्छन् ।
2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and [that] they may rob the fatherless!
तिनीहरूले खाँचोमा परेकाहरूलाई न्यायबाट वञ्चित गर्छन्, मेरा मानिसका गरिबहरूलाई तिनीहरूका अधिकारहरू लूट्छन्, विधवालाई लूट्छन् र अनाथहरूलाई आफ्नो शिकार बनाउँछन् ।
3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation [which] shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
इन्साफको दिनमा टाढाबाट विनाश आउँदा तिमीहरू के गर्नेछौ? सहायताको निम्ति तिमीहरू कसकहाँ भागरे जानेछौ र आफ्नो सम्पत्तिलाई तिमीहरू कहाँ छोड्नेछौ?
4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.
कुनै पनि कुरा बाँकी रहँदैन र कैदीहरूका माझमा तिमीहरू झुक्नेछौ वा मारिएकाहरू माझमा ढल्नेछौ । यी सबै कुराहरूमा उहाँको रिस मर्दैन । बरु उहाँको हात अझै पसारिएकै छ ।
5 O Assyrian, the rod of my anger, and the staff in their hand is my indignation.
अश्शूरलाई धिक्कार, जो मेरो रिसको लट्ठी हो, त्यो लहुरो जसद्वारा म आफ्नो क्रोध मच्चाउँछु!
6 I will send him against a hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
त्यसलाई अहङ्कारी जातिको विरुद्ध र मेरो पुरा क्रोध पाउने मानिसहरूको विरुद्ध म पठाउँछु । लूटका मालहरू लिने, शिकार लिने र तिनीहरूलाई गल्लीको हिलोलाई झैं कुल्चने आज्ञा म उसलाई दिन्छु ।
7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but [it is] in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
तर यो उहाँको इच्छा होइन, न त उहाँले यसरी सोच्नुहुन्छ । धेरै जातिहरूलाई विनाश गर्ने र निमिट्यान्न पार्ने कुरा उहाँको मनमा छ ।
8 For he saith, [Are] not my princes altogether kings?
किनकि उहाँले भन्नुहुन्छ, “मेरा सबै शासकहरू राजाहरू होइनन्?
9 [Is] not Calno as Carchemish? [is] not Hamath as Arpad? [is] not Samaria as Damascus?
के कल्नो कर्कमीशजस्तै होइन र? के हमात अर्पादजस्तै होइन र? के सामरिया दमस्कसजस्तै होइन र?
10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images excelled them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
जसरी मेरो हातले मूर्तीपुजक राज्यहरूलाई जितेको छ, जसका कुँदेका मूर्तिहरू यरूशलेम र सामरियामा भएका भन्दा धेरै थिए,
11 Shall I not, as I have done to Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
सामरिया र त्यसको व्यार्थका मूर्तीहरूलाई मैले जे गरें, यरूशलेम र त्यसको मूर्तीहरूलाई पनि म त्यसै गर्नेछैन र?”
12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, [that] when the LORD hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
जब परमप्रभुले सियोन पर्वतमा र यरूशलेममा आफ्नो काम सिद्ध्याउनुभएको छ, तब म अश्शूरका राजाको अहङ्कारी हृदयको बोली र त्यसको घमण्डी हेराइलाई दण्ड दिनेछु ।
13 For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done [it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant [man]:
किनकि त्यसले भन्छ, “मेरो सामर्थ्य र मेरो बुद्धिले मैले काम गरें । मसँग समझ छ, र मैले मानिसहरूका सिमानाहरू हटाएको छु । मैले तिनीहरूको बहुमूल्य सम्पत्ति चोरेको छु, र साँढेले झैं मैले बासिन्दाहरूलाई होच्याएको छु ।
14 And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs [that are] left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
एउटा गुँडबाट झैं, मेरा हातले जातिहरूका सम्पत्ति समातेको छ, र छोडिएको अण्डाहरू कसैले बटुलेझैं, मैले सारा पृथ्वीलाई बटुलेको छु । कसैले पनि आफ्ना पखेटाहरू चलाएनन् वा आफ्ना मुख खोलेनन् वा चिरबिर आवाज निकालेनन् ।”
15 Shall the ax boast itself against him that heweth with it? [or] shall the saw magnify itself against him that moveth it? as if the rod should shake [itself] against them that lift it, [or] as if the staff should lift [itself], [as if it were] no wood.
के बन्चरोले आफूलाई चलाउने विरुद्ध आफैमा घमण्ड गर्नेछ र? के आराले आफूलाई चलाएर काट्नेलाई भन्दा आफ्नै प्रशंसा गर्नेछ र? यो त लट्ठी उचल्नेलाई लट्ठीले नै उचालेको जस्तो भयो, वा लहुरोले एक जना व्यक्तिलाई उचालेको जस्तो भयो ।
16 Therefore will the LORD, the LORD of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he will kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
यसकारण सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुले उसका कुलिन योद्धाहरू माझ रूढी पठाउनुहुनेछ । अनि उहाँको महिमाको मुनि आगोजस्तै जलन दन्काइनेछ ।
17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
इस्राएलको प्रकाश आगो बन्नेछ र त्यसको परमपवित्र आगोको ज्वालाजस्तो बन्नुहुनेछ । त्यसले उसको काँढाहरू र सिउँडीहरूलाई एकै दिनमा डढाउने र नष्ट पार्नेछ ।
18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth.
त्यसको जङ्गलको गौरव र त्यसको फलवन्त भूमिको प्राण र शरीर दुवैलाई परमप्रभुले नष्ट पार्नुहुनेछ । यो बिरामीको शरीर गलेको जस्तो हुनेछ ।
19 And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.
त्यसको जङ्गलमा रहेका रूखहरू अति थोर बाँकी हुनेछन्, जसलाई एक जना बालकले पनि गन्न सक्छ ।
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the remnant of Israel, and such as have escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again lean upon him that smote them; but shall lean upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
त्यस दिन इस्राएलका बाँकी, उम्केका याकूबका घरानाले आफूलाई पराजित गर्नेमाथि भर पर्ने छैनन्, तर तिनीहरू साँच्चै इस्राएलका परमपवित्र परमप्रभुमा भर पर्नेछन् ।
21 The remnant shall return, [even] the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.
याकूबका बाँकी रहेकाहरू शक्तिशाली परमेश्वरकहाँ फर्कनेछन् ।
22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, [yet] a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
किनकि तपाईंका मानसिहरू इस्राएल समुद्र किनारको बालुवाझैं भए तापनि, तिनीहरूमा बाँकी रहेकाहरू मात्र फर्कनेछन् । प्रशस्त धार्मिकताले माग गरेझैं, विनाशलाई आदेश दिइएको छ ।
23 For the Lord GOD of hosts will make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
निर्धारण गरिएको विनाशलाई परमप्रभु सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुले सम्पूर्ण देशभरि ल्याउन लाग्नुभएको छ ।
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
यसकारण परमप्रभु सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुले भन्नुहुन्छ, “ए सियोनमा बस्ने मेरा मानिसहरू हो, अश्शूरसँग नडराओ । त्यसले तिमीहरूलाई आफ्नो लट्ठीले प्रहार गर्नेछ र तिमीहरूको विरुद्धमा त्यसको लहुरो उठाउनेछ जस्तो मिश्रीहरूले गरे ।
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and my anger in their destruction.
त्यससँग नडराओ किनकि तिमीहरू विरुद्धको मेरो रिस चाँडै अन्त हुनेछ र मेरो क्रोधले त्यसको विनाशमा लैजानेछ ।”
26 And the LORD of hosts will raise up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and [as] his rod [was] upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
तब सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुले ओरेबको चट्टानमा मिद्यानलाई पराजित गरेझैं तिनीहरूका विरुद्ध कोर्रा चलाउनुहुनेछ । उहाँले आफ्नो हात समुद्रमाथि उठाउनुहुनेछ र उहाँले मिश्रमा गर्नुभएझैं यसलाई माथि उचाल्नुहुनेछ ।
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
त्यस दिन, तिमीहरूका कुममा भएको त्यसको बोझ र तिमीहरूको काँधमा भएको जुवा हटाइनेछ र मोटोपनको कारणले जुवा नष्ट पारिनेछ ।
28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his furniture.
शत्रुहरू अय्यातमा आएका छन् र मिग्रोन भएर गएका छन् । मिकमाशमा त्यसले आफ्नो खाद्यन्नहरू भण्डारण गरेको छ ।
29 They have gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul hath fled.
तिनीहरूले भञ्जयाङ पार गरेका छन् र गेबामा बास बसेका छन् । रामा काँप्छ र शाऊलको गिबा भागेको छ ।
30 Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard to Laish, O poor Anathoth.
ए गल्लीमको छोरी, उच्च सोरमा करा! हे लाकीश, ध्यान दे! तँ विचरा अनातोत!
31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.
मदमेना भाग्दैछ, गेबीमका बासिन्दाहरू सुरक्षाको निम्ति भाग्छन् ।
32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand [against] the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
त्यसै दिन त्यो नोबमा रोकिनेछ र सियोनका छोरीको पर्वत र यरूशलेमका पहाडहरूतिर आफ्नो मुक्का हल्लाउनेछ ।
33 Behold, the LORD, the LORD of hosts will lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature [shall be] hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
हेर, परमप्रभु सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुले डरलाग्दो विनाशसँगै हाँगाहरू लुछ्नुहुनेछ । सबैभन्दा अग्ला रूखहरू काटिनेछन् र अहङ्कारीलाई होच्याइनेछ ।
34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forests with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.
उहँले वनका झाडीहरूलाई वन्चरोले काट्नुहुनेछ र लेबनानको आफ्नो गौरव पतन हुनेछ ।
