Hosea 7
1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was disclosed, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, [and] the troop of robbers strippeth without.
೧ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ದುರವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವಾಗ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮಿನ ಅಧರ್ಮವೂ, ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ದುಷ್ಟತನವೂ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮೋಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಒಳಗೆ ಕಳ್ಳರು ನುಗ್ಗುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಹೊರಗೆ ಡಕಾಯಿತಿಯವರು ಸುಲಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
2 And they consider not in their hearts [that] I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them around; they are before my face.
೨ತಮ್ಮ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಮನದಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಈಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ, ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗಿವೆ.
3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
೩ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಆನಂದಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಖಂಡರನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
4 They [are] all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, [who] ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it is leavened.
೪ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿಗಳು; ರೊಟ್ಟಿಸುಡುವವನು ಬೆಂಕಿಹೊತ್ತಿಸಿ, ಉರಿಸಿ, ಕಣಕವನ್ನು ನಾದಿದಾಗಿನಿಂದ ಹುಳಿಬರುವ ತನಕ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಉರಿಸದೆ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಒಲೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
5 In the day of our king the princes have made [him] sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.
೫ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಉಷ್ಣವು ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ತಲೆಗೇರಲು ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು; ರಾಜನು ಆ ತುಂಟರ ಕೈಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಿದನು.
6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.
೬ಅವರು ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಾಗ ಆಹಾ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಒಲೆಯಂತೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯು ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ; ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಧಗಧಗನೆ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: [there is] none among them that calleth to me.
೭ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಲೆಯಂತೆ ಝಳವೇರಿ ತಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶ್ವರರನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಸಕಲ ರಾಜರು ಬಿದ್ದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವವರೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
೮ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ; ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ತಿರುವಿಹಾಕದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಂತಿದೆ.
9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth [it] not: yes, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
೯ಅನ್ಯರು ಅದರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೀರಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು; ಅದರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆಯು ಕಾಣಿಸಿದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.
10 And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
೧೦ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಅದರ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯೇ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ; ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದರೂ ಅದು ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆತನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.
೧೧ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಬುದ್ಧಿ ವಿವೇಕಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಪಾರಿವಾಳದಂತಿದೆ; ಅದರ ಜನರು ಐಗುಪ್ತವನ್ನು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅಶ್ಶೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
೧೨ಹೊರಟ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬೀಸಿ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೆಳಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆಯುವೆನು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಮಾತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು.
13 Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
೧೩ಅವರು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಗಲಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಹಾಳಾಗಲಿ! ನನಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಾಶವಾಗಲಿ! ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಇರುವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಉದ್ಧರಿಸಲಿ!
14 And they have not cried to me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, [and] they rebel against me.
೧೪ಅವರು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಧಾನ್ಯ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಎಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ಗಾಯಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
15 Though I have bound [and] strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
೧೫ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿ, ತೋಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದ ನನಗೂ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
16 They return, [but] not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this [shall be] their derision in the land of Egypt.
೧೬ಅತ್ತಿತ್ತ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಮೋಸದ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಮುಖಂಡರು ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯ ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಹತರಾಗಿ ಬೀಳುವರು; ಅವರ ಸೋಲು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಗುವುದು.
