1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, [and] not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers to [them] perfect.

2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshipers once cleansed, would have had no more conscience of sins.

Pathien chubaimûk ngei hah an sietnangei renga a minthieng ngei tatak nisenla chu, sietnân theiloi an intum bangin inriet khâi noni ngeia, male inbôlna ngei hah inngam atih zoi.

3 But in those [sacrifices there is] a remembrance again [made] of sins every year.

Ma anghan, nikhomrese ma inbôlna han kumtin mingei an sietna a min rietsuok nôk ngei ngâi ani.

4 For [it is] not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Sechalngei le kêlngei thisenin sietnangei hah alâk pai thei tet loi sikin.

5 Wherefore, when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldst not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

Ma siktak han, Khrista'n rammuola a juong rang lâihan Pathien kôm: “Nangman inbôlna ngei le neinunpêkngei nuom mak chea, Keima rangin takpum mi ni minsûk pe zoi.

6 In burnt-offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Mâichâm chunga sa pumpui hâlminvâmngei le sietnangei lâk pai ranga inbôlna ngei hah na râiminsân tet mak che.

7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written concerning me, ) to do thy will, O God.

Male Keiman, ‘O Pathien, Balam lekhabua ku thurchi mizieka lei om anghan nu lungdo sin rangin hin ko om,’” ki tia.

8 Above, when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt-offerings and [offering] for sin thou wouldst not, neither hadst pleasure [in them]; which are offered by the law;

Motontaka ama'n, “mâichâm chunga inbôlna ngei le neinunpêkngei aninônchu sa pum hâlminvâmngei le sietnangei lâk paina ranga inbôlna ngei hah nuom khom nuom mak che, na râi khom minsân mak che a tia.” Hima inbôlna ngei murdi hih Balam dungjûiin pêk nikhomsenla ma anghin a ti ani.

9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Hanchu, “O Pathien, nu lungdo sin rangin keima hin ko om,” a tia. Masikin Pathien'n inbôlna muruo ngei hah a min hekleta, mangei ruthûla han Khrista inbôlna hi a dar zoi ani.

10 By which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all].

Jisua Khrista'n Pathien lungdo a sina, ama takpum ngêt hah voikhatin anrênga rangin ânpêk phar sikin ei rêngin sietna renga ênthieng zoi ani.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

Juda ochai tinin nîngtin an sintum sinin inbôlna ngâi dedên hah voi tamtak an pêk ngâia; aniatachu ma inbôlna ngei han sietnangei lâk pai thei tet mak.

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, for ever sat down on the right hand of God;

Nikhomrese, Khrista chu sietnangei inbôlna rangin voikhat ânpêka, maha kumtuonga omtit rang ani zoia, masuole chu Pathien kut changtieng a hon sung zoi.

13 From henceforth waiting till his enemies are made his footstool.

Atûn chu Pathien'n a râlngei a kepha nuoia a dar pe mâka chu mahan a ngâk tit ani.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Hanchu, voikhat inbôlna leh an sietna minthienga omngei ha chu kumtuonga rangin achukpharin a sin ngei zoi.

15 [Of this] the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

Hanchu Ratha Inthieng khomin ama rietpuipu mi pêk sa. Amotona,

16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

“Nikhuo hong tung ranga anni ngei leh chonginkhit ki sin rang chu mahi ani, Pumapa'n a ti: An mulung sûnga ka balamngei dar ka ta, male an mulungrîla miziek ki tih.”

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Masuole chu, “An sietnangei le an tho minchâina ngei riettit khâi no ning,” a tia.

18 Now where remission of these [is], [there is] no more offering for sin.

Masikin ma anga ngâidamna omna taka han chu sietnangei min boina rangin neinunpêk nâng khâi no nih.

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Hanchu, ka lâibungngei le ka sarnungei, Jisua thina sikin Mun Inthiengtaka han phukdâiriemin ei lût thei zoi ani.

20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the vail, that is to say, his flesh;

Ama'n puondûng (a takpum) renga lam thar le lam ring ei ta rangin mi mo-ong pe zoi.

21 And [having] a high priest over the house of God;

Pathien insûng donsûipu ochai roiinpuitak ei dôn ani.

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Masikin mulungrîl indîn le taksônna adiktak dônin, sie le sa rietna dikloi renga ei mulungrîlngei minthiengin le ei takpumngei tui inthieng leh minsaîin Pathien nâi ei ti u.

23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; for he [is] faithful that promised:

Ei sabeina phuong hih sûr mindet tit ei ti u, Pathien chu a chonginkhâma taksôn aom sikin.

24 And let us consider one another to excite to love and to good works:

Inkhat le inkhat inlungkhamna minlang inlômin, inkhat le inkhat insan inlômin, sin sa inthope inlôm rangin mindon pak ei ti u.

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Mi senkhatngei an thônzong anghan ei intûp inkhom mâk no u. Manêkin Pumapa Nikhuo hah ahong nâi uolin nin mûn chu inkhat le inkhat inmohôk inlôm u-uol ei ti u.

26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Chongtak ei riet suonûkin nunsie ei la tho bangin chu nunsie ngei lâk pai nôkna rangin inbôlna om khâi no nih.

27 But a certain fearful apprehension of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Manêkin, aom rang chu chi puma Roijêkna le mei inthang Pathien doi ngei kâng inmangna rang ngâkna vai kêng ani zoi!

28 He that despised Moses' law, died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Tukhom Moses Balam jômloi chu, ama theiloi nina rangin rietpuipu inik mini, inthum mini an omin chu moroina boiriekin that ani ngâia.

29 Of how much more severe punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, by which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite to the Spirit of grace?

Pathien Nâipasal mumâka, Pathien chonginkhitna thisen ama minthiengna neinun itea be loia, moroina Ratha êro mi hah khodôra dûkmintongna sietuol mo tuong rangin nin minhoi?

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] to me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord will judge his people.

“Phuba chu keiman lâk ka ta, Keiman thuon ki tih” a tipu le “Pumapa'n a mingei roijêk a tih,” ti hah ei riet sa.

31 [It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Pathien ring kuta chul chu neinun chi omtak ani!

32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Zora vunsaia kho angin mo neinun nin chunga hong om ngei hah riettit roi. Pathien vârin nangni a êl suonûkin ma sûnngei han dûk tamtak nin tuonga, hannoma injêlna han nangni mene mak.

33 Partly, while ye were made a gazing-stock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, while ye became companions of them that were so used.

Zora khat chu mipui makunga nangni erôn an nuom nangni an loa, zora danga chu ma anga an lei mintuongei leh munkhatin nin tuonga.

34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the seizing of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Mi intângngei tuongna hah nin tuongpuia, male nin neinun dôn murdi nangni an sûr pe lâi khom han, kumtuonga sôi rang neinun sa uol nin la dôn ti nin rietin ma nin machânna khom hah râisântakin nin tuong ani.

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

Râisânman roiinpuitak a mintung rang sikin nin hâina hah minmang no roi.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.

Pathien lungdo nin sina, a chonginkhâmngei hah nin man theina rangin dierna nin nâng ani.

37 For yet a little while, and he that is coming will come, and will not tarry.

Pathien Lekhabu'n, “Chomolte suole chu, a juong rangpu hah juong a tih zoi; ama hah innu no nih.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] shall draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hannirese, ki midik chu iem a ta male ring a tih; aniatachu an lâia tu mini nûktieng an tolin chu, a chunga ka râisân no nih,” a ti anghan.

39 But we are not of them who draw back to perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Eini chu nûktieng ântola ânmang rang mi nimak me. Manêkin, taksônna dôna sanminring ni rang mi kêng ei ni.
