Genesis 46
1 And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.
E partiu Israel com tudo quanto tinha, e veio a Berseba, e sacrificou sacrifícios ao Deus de seu pai Isaac.
2 And God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob: and he said, Here [am] I.
E falou Deus a Israel em visões da noite, e disse: Jacob, Jacob! E ele disse: Eis-me aqui.
3 And he said, I [am] God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
E disse: Eu sou o Deus, o Deus de teu pai; não temas de descer ao Egito, porque eu te farei ali uma grande nação.
4 I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up [again]: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
E descerei contigo ao Egito, e certamente te farei tornar a subir, e José porá a sua mão sobre os teus olhos.
5 And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
Então levantou-se Jacob de Berseba, e os filhos de Israel levaram a seu pai Jacob, e seus meninos, e as suas mulheres, nos carros que faraó enviara para o levar.
6 And they took their cattle, and their goods which they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:
E tomaram o seu gado e a sua fazenda que tinham adquirido na terra de Canaan, e vieram ao Egito, Jacob e toda a sua semente com ele,
7 His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.
Os seus filhos, e os filhos de seus filhos com ele, as suas filhas, e as filhas de seus filhos, e toda a sua semente levou consigo ao Egito.
8 And these [are] the names of the children of Israel, who came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's first-born.
E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Israel, que vieram ao Egito, Jacob e seus filhos: Ruben, o primogênito de Jacob,
9 And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
E os filhos de Ruben: Hanoch, e palu, e Hezron, e Carmi.
10 And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.
E os filhos de Simeão: Jemuel, e Jamin, e Ohad, e Jachin, e Zohar, e Shaul, filho de uma mulher Cananeia.
11 And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
E os filhos de Levi: Gerson, Kohath, e Merari.
12 And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron, and Hamul.
E os filhos de Judá: Er, e Onan, e Sela, e Perez, e Serah; Er e Onan, porém, morreram na terra de Canaan; e os filhos de Perez foram Hezron e Hamul.
13 And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.
E os filhos de Issacar: Tola, e Puah, e Iob, e Simron.
14 And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
E os filhos de Zebulon: Sered, e Elon, e Jahleel.
15 These [are] the sons of Leah, which she bore to Jacob in Padan-aram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters [were] thirty and three.
Estes são os filhos de Leah, que pariu a Jacob em Paddan-aram, com Dinah, sua filha: todas as almas de seus filhos e de suas filhas foram trinta e três.
16 And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggai, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
E os filhos de Gad: Ziphion, e Haggi, Shuni, e Ezbon, Eri, e Arodi, e Areli.
17 And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister. And the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.
E os filhos de Asher: Imnah, e Ischva, e Ischvi, e Beria, e Serah, a irmã deles: e os filhos de Beria: Eber e Malchiel.
18 These [are] the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter: and these she bore to Jacob, [even] sixteen souls.
Estes são os filhos de Zilpah, que Labão deu à sua filha Leah; e pariu a Jacob estas dezeseis almas.
19 The sons of Rachel Jacob's wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.
Os filhos de Rachel, mulher de Jacob: José e Benjamin.
20 And to Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bore to him.
E nasceram a José na terra do Egito Manasseh e Ephraim, que lhe pariu Asenath, filha de Potiphera, sacerdote de On.
21 And the sons of Benjamin [were] Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
E os filhos de Benjamin: Belah, Becher, e Asbel, Gera, e, Naaman, Echi e Rosh, Muppim, e Huppim, e Ard.
22 These [are] the sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob; all the souls [were] fourteen.
Estes são os filhos de Rachel, que nasceram a Jacob, ao todo quatorze almas.
23 And the sons of Dan; Hushim.
E os filhos de Dan: Husim.
24 And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
E os filhos de Naphtali: Jahzeel, e Guni, e Jezer, e Shilem.
25 These [are] the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to Rachel his daughter, and she bore these to Jacob: all the souls [were] seven.
Estes são os filhos de Bilha, que Labão deu à sua filha Rachel; e pariu estes a Jacob; todas as almas foram sete.
26 All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, who came out of his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls [were] sixty and six.
Todas as almas que vieram com Jacob ao Egito, que sairam da sua coxa, sem as mulheres dos filhos de Jacob, todas foram sessenta e seis almas.
27 And the sons of Joseph who were born to him in Egypt, [were] two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, who came into Egypt, [were] seventy.
E os filhos de José, que lhe nasceram no Egito, eram duas almas. Todas as almas da casa de Jacob, que vieram ao Egito, foram setenta.
28 And he sent Judah before him to Joseph, to direct his face to Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
E enviou a Judá diante da sua face a José, para o encaminhar a Gosen; e chegaram à terra de Gosen.
29 And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went to meet Israel his father to Goshen; and presented himself to him: and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
Então José aprontou o seu carro, e subiu ao encontro de Israel, seu pai, a Gosen. E, mostrando-se-lhe, lançou-se ao seu pescoço, e chorou sobre o seu pescoço longo tempo.
30 And Israel said to Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou [art] yet alive.
E Israel disse a José: Morra eu agora, pois já tenho visto o teu rosto, que ainda vives.
31 And Joseph said to his brethren, and to his father's house, I will go up, and show Pharaoh, and say to him, My brethren, and my father's house, who [were] in the land of Canaan are come to me.
Depois disse José a seus irmãos, e à casa de seu pai: Eu subirei, e anunciarei a faraó, e lhe direi: Meus irmãos, e a casa de meu pai, que estavam na terra de Canaan, vieram a mim!
32 And the men [are] shepherds, for their employment hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.
E os varões são pastores de ovelhas, porque são homens de gado, e trouxeram consigo as suas ovelhas, e as suas vacas, e tudo o que tem.
33 And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What [is] your occupation?
Quando pois acontecer que faraó vos chamar, e disser: Qual é vosso negócio?
34 That ye shall say, The occupation of thy servants hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, [and] also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd [is] an abomination to the Egyptians.
Então direis: Teus servos foram homens de gado desde a nossa mocidade até agora, tanto nós como os nossos pais; para que habitemos na terra de Gosen; porque todo o pastor de ovelhas é abominação aos egípcios.
