Ezra 6
1 Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.
Da befahl der König Darius, daß man suchen sollte in der Kanzlei, im Schatzhause des Königs, die zu Babel lag.
2 And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that [is] in the province of the Medes, a roll, and in it [was] a record thus written:
Da fand man zu Ahmetha im Schloß, das in Medien liegt, ein Buch, und stund also drinnen eine Geschichte geschrieben:
3 In the first year of Cyrus the king, [the same] Cyrus the king made a decree [concerning] the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be built, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations of it be strongly laid; the hight of it sixty cubits, [and] the breadth of it sixty cubits;
Im ersten Jahr des Königs Kores befahl der König Kores, das Haus Gottes zu Jerusalem zu bauen an der Stätte, da man opfert, und den Grund zu legen, zur Höhe sechzig Ellen und zur Weite auch sechzig Ellen,
4 [With] three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expenses be given out of the king's house:
und drei Wände von allerlei Steinen und eine Wand von Holz; und die Kost soll vom Hause des Königs gegeben werden.
5 And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple which [is] at Jerusalem, and brought to Babylon, be restored, and brought again to the temple which [is] at Jerusalem, [every one] to its place, and place [them] in the house of God.
Dazu die güldenen und silbernen Gefäße des Hauses Gottes, die Nebukadnezar aus dem Tempel zu Jerusalem genommen und gen Babel gebracht hat, soll man wiedergeben, daß sie wiedergebracht werden in den Tempel zu Jerusalem an ihre Statt im Hause Gottes.
6 Now [therefore], Tatnai governor beyond the river, Shethar-boznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, who [are] beyond the river, be ye far from thence:
So machet euch nun ferne von ihnen, du, Thathnai, Landpfleger jenseit des Wassers und Sthar-Bosnai, und, ihr Rat von Apharsach, die ihr jenseit des Wassers seid.
7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews, and the elders of the Jews, build this house of God in its place.
Lasset sie arbeiten am Hause Gottes, daß der Juden Landpfleger und ihre Ältesten das Haus Gottes bauen an seiner Stätte.
8 Moreover, I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, [even] of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given to these men, that they be not hindered.
Auch ist von mir befohlen, was man den Ältesten Judas tun soll, zu bauen das Haus Gottes, nämlich, daß man aus des Königs Gütern von den Renten jenseit des Wassers mit Fleiß nehme und gebe es den Leuten, und daß man ihnen nicht wehre.
9 And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt-offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests who [are] at Jerusalem, let it be given to them day by day without fail:
Und ob sie bedürften Kälber, Lämmer oder Böcke zum Brandopfer dem Gott vom Himmel, Weizen, Salz, Wein und Öl nach der Weise der Priester zu Jerusalem, soll man ihnen geben täglich ihre Gebühr (und daß solches nicht hinlässig geschehe!),
10 That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savors to the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons.
daß sie opfern, zum süßen Geruch dem Gott vom Himmel und bitten für des Königs Leben und seiner Kinder.
11 Also I have made a decree, that whoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged upon it; and let his house be made a dunghill for this.
Von mir ist solcher Befehl geschehen. Und welcher Mensch diese Worte verändert, von des Hause soll man einen Balken nehmen und aufrichten und ihn dran hängen, und sein Haus soll dem Gericht verfallen sein um der Tat willen.
12 And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall attempt to alter and to destroy this house of God which [is] at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.
Der Gott aber, der im Himmel wohnet, bringe um alle Könige und Volk, das seine Hand ausrecket, zu ändern und zu brechen das Haus Gottes zu Jerusalem! Ich, Darius, habe dies befohlen, daß es mit Fleiß getan werde.
13 Then Tatnai governor on this side the river, Shethar-boznai, and their companions, according to that which Darius the king had sent, so they did speedily.
Das taten mit Fleiß Thathnai, der Landpfleger jenseit des Wassers, und Sthar-Bosnai mit ihrem Rat, zu welchen der König Darius gesandt hatte.
14 And the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built, and finished [it], according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
Und die Ältesten der Juden baueten; und es ging vonstatten durch die Weissagung der Propheten Haggai und Sacharja, des Sohns Iddos; und baueten und richteten auf nach dem Befehl des Gottes Israels und nach dem Befehl Kores, Darii und Arthahsasthas, der Könige in Persien;
15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
und vollbrachten das Haus bis an den dritten Tag des Monden Adar, das war das sechste Jahr des Königreichs des Königs Darii.
16 And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,
Und die Kinder Israel, die Priester, die Leviten und die andern Kinder des Gefängnisses hielten Einweihung des Hauses Gottes mit Freuden.
17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God a hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin-offering for all Israel, twelve he-goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
Und opferten auf die Einweihung des Hauses Gottes hundert Kälber, zweihundert Lämmer, vierhundert Böcke und zum Sündopfer für das ganze Israel zwölf Ziegenböcke, nach der Zahl der Stämme Israels.
18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, who [is] at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.
Und stelleten die Priester in ihre Ordnung und die Leviten in ihre Hut, zu dienen Gott, der in Israel ist, wie es geschrieben stehet im Buch Mose.
19 And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth [day] of the first month.
Und die Kinder des Gefängnisses hielten Passah am vierzehnten Tage des ersten Monden.
20 For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them [were] pure, and [they] killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
Denn die Priester und Leviten hatten sich gereiniget, daß sie alle rein waren wie ein Mann; und schlachteten das Passah für alle Kinder des Gefängnisses und für ihre Brüder, die Priester, und für sich.
21 And the children of Israel, who had returned from captivity, and all such as had separated themselves to them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,
Und die Kinder Israel, die aus dem Gefängnis waren wiederkommen, und alle, die sich zu ihnen abgesondert hatten von der Unreinigkeit der Heiden im Lande, zu suchen den HERRN, den Gott Israels, aßen
22 And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
und hielten das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote sieben Tage mit Freuden; denn der HERR hatte sie fröhlich gemacht und das Herz des Königs zu Assur zu ihnen gewandt, daß sie gestärkt würden im Werk am Hause Gottes, der Gott Israels ist.
