Ezekiel 1
1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I [was] among the captives by the river of Kebar, [that] the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
൧എന്റെ ആയുസിന്റെ മുപ്പതാം ആണ്ട് നാലാംമാസം അഞ്ചാം തീയതി ഞാൻ കെബാർനദീതീരത്ത് പ്രവാസികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, സ്വർഗ്ഗം തുറക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ഞാൻ ദിവ്യദർശനങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു.
2 In the fifth [day] of the month, which [was] the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
൨യെഹോയാഖീൻരാജാവിന്റെ പ്രവാസത്തിന്റെ അഞ്ചാം ആണ്ടിൽ നാലാംമാസം അഞ്ചാം തീയതി തന്നെ,
3 The word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Kebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
൩കല്ദയദേശത്ത് കെബാർനദീതീരത്തുവച്ച് ബൂസിയുടെ മകൻ യെഹെസ്കേൽ പുരോഹിതന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് ഉണ്ടായി; അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ കരവും അവന്റെമേൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
4 And I looked, and behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness [was] about it, and from the midst of it as the color of amber, from the midst of the fire.
൪ഞാൻ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ വടക്കുനിന്ന് ഒരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും ഒരു വലിയ മേഘവും ആളിക്കത്തുന്ന തീയും വരുന്നത് കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഒരു പ്രകാശവും അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്ന്, തീയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു തന്നെ, ശുക്ലസ്വർണ്ണംപോലെ ഒരു കാഴ്ചയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
5 Also from the midst of it [came] the likeness of four living creatures. And this [was] their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
൫അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ നാല് ജീവികളുടെ രൂപസാദൃശ്യം കണ്ടു; അവയുടെ രൂപത്തിന് മനുഷ്യസാദൃശ്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
൬ഓരോന്നിന് നാല് മുഖവും നാല് ചിറകും വീതം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
7 And their feet [were] straight feet; and the sole of their feet [was] like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the color of burnished brass.
൭അവയുടെ കാൽ നിവർന്നതും, പാദങ്ങൾ കാളക്കിടാവിന്റെ കുളമ്പുപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു; മിനുക്കിയ താമ്രംപോലെ അവ മിന്നിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
8 And [they had] the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
൮അവയ്ക്കു നാല് ഭാഗത്തും ചിറകിന്റെ കീഴിലായി മനുഷ്യന്റെ കൈകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിനും മുഖങ്ങളും ചിറകുകളും ഇപ്രകാരം ആയിരുന്നു.
9 Their wings [were] joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
൯അവയുടെ ചിറകുകൾ പരസ്പരം തൊട്ടിരുന്നു; പോകുമ്പോൾ അവ തിരിയാതെ ഓരോന്നും നേരെ മുമ്പോട്ടു പോകും.
10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
൧൦അവയുടെ മുഖരൂപമോ: അവയ്ക്കു മനുഷ്യമുഖം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിനും വലത്തുഭാഗത്ത് സിംഹമുഖവും ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്ത് കാളമുഖവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിനും കഴുകുമുഖവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
11 Thus [were] their faces: and their wings [were] stretched upward; two [wings] of every one [were] joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
൧൧ഇങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു അവയുടെ മുഖങ്ങൾ; അവയുടെ ചിറകുകൾ മേൽഭാഗം വിടർന്നിരുന്നു; ഈ രണ്ടു ചിറകുകൾ തമ്മിൽ സ്പർശിച്ചും ഈ രണ്ടു ചിറകുകൾകൊണ്ട് ശരീരം മറച്ചും ഇരുന്നു.
12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; [and] they turned not when they went.
൧൨അവ ഓരോന്നും നേരെ മുമ്പോട്ടു പോകും; പോകുമ്പോൾ അവ തിരിയാതെ ആത്മാവിനു പോകേണ്ട സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് തന്നെ പോകും.
13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance [was] like burning coals of fire, [and] like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
൧൩ജീവികളുടെ നടുവിൽ കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന തീക്കനൽപോലെയും പന്തങ്ങൾ പോലെയും ഒരു കാഴ്ച ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അത് ജീവികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ആ തീ തേജസ്സുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. തീയിൽനിന്ന് മിന്നൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
൧൪ജീവികൾ മിന്നൽപോലെ അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
൧൫ഞാൻ ജീവികളെ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ നിലത്ത് ജീവികളുടെ അരികിൽ നാല് മുഖത്തിനും നേരെ ഓരോ ചക്രം കണ്ടു.
16 The appearance of the wheels and their work [was] like the color of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work [was] as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
൧൬ചക്രങ്ങളുടെ കാഴ്ചയും പണിയും പുഷ്പരാഗത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; അവയ്ക്കു നാലിനും ഒരേ ആകൃതി ആയിരുന്നു; അവയുടെ കാഴ്ചയും പണിയും ചക്രത്തിൽകൂടി മറ്റൊരു ചക്രം ഉള്ളതുപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.
17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: [and] they returned not when they went.
൧൭അവയ്ക്കു നാലുഭാഗത്തേക്കും പോകാം; തിരിയുവാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല.
18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings [were] full of eyes around them four.
൧൮അവയുടെ പട്ട പൊക്കമേറിയതും ഭയങ്കരവും ആയിരുന്നു; നാലിന്റെയും പട്ടകൾക്കു ചുറ്റും അടുത്തടുത്ത് കണ്ണുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
൧൯ജീവികൾ പോകുമ്പോൾ ചക്രങ്ങളും ഒപ്പം പോകും; ജീവികൾ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ചക്രങ്ങളും പൊങ്ങും.
20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither [was their] spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature [was] in the wheels.
൨൦ആത്മാവിനു പോകേണ്ട സ്ഥലത്തെല്ലാം അവ പോകും; ജീവികളുടെ ആത്മാവ് ചക്രങ്ങളിൽ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ചക്രങ്ങൾ അവയോടുകൂടി പൊങ്ങും.
21 When those went, [these] went; and when those stood, [these] stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature [was] in the wheels.
൨൧ജീവികളുടെ ആത്മാവ് ചക്രങ്ങളിൽ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്, അവ പോകുമ്പോൾ ഇവയും പോകും; അവ നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ ഇവയും നില്ക്കും; അവ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ചക്രങ്ങളും അവയോടുകൂടി പൊങ്ങും.
22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature [was] as the color of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
൨൨ജീവികളുടെ തലയ്ക്കുമീതെ ഭയങ്കരമായ, പളുങ്കുപോലെയുള്ള ഒരു വിതാനത്തിന്റെ രൂപം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അത് അവയുടെ തലയ്ക്കുമീതെ വിരിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.
23 And under the firmament [were] their wings straight, the one towards the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
൨൩വിതാനത്തിന്റെ കീഴിൽ അവയുടെ ചിറകുകൾ നേർക്കുനേരെ വിടർന്നിരുന്നു; ഓരോ ജീവിക്കും ശരീരത്തിന്റെ ഇരുഭാഗവും മൂടുവാൻ ഈ രണ്ടു ചിറകുകൾ വീതം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of a host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
൨൪അവ പോകുമ്പോൾ ചിറകുകളുടെ ശബ്ദം പെരുവെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദംപോലെയും സർവ്വശക്തനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാദംപോലെയും ഒരു സൈന്യത്തിന്റെ ആരവം പോലെയും ഉള്ള മുഴക്കമായി ഞാൻ കേട്ടു; നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ ചിറകു താഴ്ത്തും.
25 And there was a voice from the firmament that [was] over their heads, when they stood, [and] had let down their wings.
൨൫അവയുടെ തലയ്ക്കു മീതെയുള്ള വിതാനത്തിനു മുകളിൽനിന്ന് ഒരു നാദം പുറപ്പെട്ടു; നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ ചിറകു താഴ്ത്തും.
26 And above the firmament that [was] over their heads [was] the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne [was] the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
൨൬അവയുടെ തലയ്ക്കു മീതെയുള്ള വിതാനത്തിനു മീതെ നീലക്കല്ലിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ രൂപവും സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ രൂപത്തിന്മേൽ അതിന് മീതെ മനുഷ്യസാദൃശ്യത്തിൽ ഒരു രൂപവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
27 And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire around within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness on all sides.
൨൭അവിടുത്തെ അരമുതൽ മേലോട്ടുള്ള ഭാഗം തീ നിറമുള്ള ശുക്ലസ്വർണ്ണംപോലെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അവിടുത്തെ അരമുതൽ കീഴോട്ട് തീപോലെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും പ്രകാശവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so [was] the appearance of the brightness around. This [was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw [it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one speaking.
൨൮അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രകാശം മഴയുള്ള ദിവസത്തിൽ മേഘത്തിൽ കാണുന്ന വില്ലിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു. യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷത ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു കണ്ടത്; അത് കണ്ടിട്ട് ഞാൻ കവിണ്ണുവീണു; സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഒരുവന്റെ ശബ്ദവും ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.
