Ezekiel 5
1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause [it] to pass upon thy head and upon thy beard: then take to thee balances to weigh, and divide the [hair].
「人子，你拿一把快刀，當理髮的剃刀用，剃去你的頭髮和鬍鬚，然後拿一個天平，分開那些鬚髮。
2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, [and] smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
等被困的日子一滿，把三分之一在城內用火燒掉；再拿三分之一在城四周用劍擊砍；其他三分之一，要揚在風中，我要拔出劍來追趕他們。
3 Thou shalt also take of them a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.
但你要從鬍鬚中取出幾根來，繫在你的衣服邊上，
4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire: from which a fire shall come forth into all the house of Israel.
再從其中取出幾根投入火中，讓火燒掉；然後你向以色列全家說：
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; This [is] Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries [that are] around her.
吾主上主這樣說：這就是耶路撒冷! 我將她安置在萬民之中，使萬國環繞著她；
6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that [are] around her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
但是她違背了我的法令，作惡甚於異民，違背我的法律甚於環繞她的列國，因為她們輕視了我的法令，沒有照我的法律行事。
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that [are] around you, [and] have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that [are] around you:
為此，吾主上主這樣說：因為你們比環繞你們的異民更為叛逆，沒有照我的法律行事；沒有遵行我的法令，也沒有按照環繞你們異民的法律行事；
8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, [am] against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
因此吾主上主這樣說：看，我要親自對付你；在你中間，在異民眼前實行懲罰。
9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and the like to which I will not do any more, because of all thy abominations.
為了你的一切醜惡，我要對你實習未曾實行過的，將來也不會實行的事；
10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.
在你境內，為父的要吃自己的兒子，為子的要吃自己的父親。我必如此在你境內實行懲罰，且把遺民分散到四方。
11 Wherefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thy abominations, therefore I will also diminish [thee]; neither shall my eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
為此我指著我的生命起誓說：──吾主上主的斷語──因為你用你的一切可憎和可惡之物玷污了我的聖所，我必將你剷除，我的眼決不憐視，一點也不憐惜。
12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword around thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
你三分之一的人民要在你境內死於瘟疫，亡於饑荒；另三分之一，在你四周各地喪身刀下；其他三分之一，我要分散到各地。我且拔出劍來追趕他們。
13 Thus shall my anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken [it] in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
這樣，我的忿怒纔可以發洩，我的怒火在他們身上纔會平息，得到了報復；當我的憤怒在他們身上發洩時，他們要承認我，上主，在妒火中講了話。
14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that [are] around thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
我要使你成為荒野，使你在環繞你的異民前，和所有的過客前，成為辱罵的對象。
15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment to the nations that [are] around thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken [it].
當我大發憤怒，以嚴厲的懲罰在你身上施行裁判時，你就成為環繞你的異民凌辱、恥笑、警戒和警駭的對象：這是我上主說的。
16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for [their] destruction, [and] which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:
當我向你們射出饑荒的毒箭──射出毀滅的箭，毀滅你們時──我必使饑荒在你們境內更加嚴重，斷絕你們的糧源。
17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken [it].
我必使饑荒和猛獸危害你們，掠去你們的子女，並使瘟疫和血案在你境內盛行，還有刀兵來打擊你：這是我上主說的。」
