Ezekiel 37
1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which [was] full of bones,
യഹോവയുടെ കൈ എന്റെമേൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവിൽ എന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് ഒരു താഴ്വരയുടെ നടുവിൽ നിർത്തി. അത് അസ്ഥികളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞതായിരുന്നു.
2 And caused me to pass by them around: and behold, [there were] very many in the open valley; and lo, [they were] very dry.
അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ അവയുടെ ഇടയിലൂടെ ചുറ്റിനടക്കുമാറാക്കി. ആ താഴ്വരയുടെ പരപ്പിൽ വളരെയധികം അസ്ഥികൾ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു. അവ ഏറ്റവും ഉണങ്ങിയുമിരുന്നു.
3 And he said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? and I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചു: “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഈ അസ്ഥികൾ ജീവിക്കുക സാധ്യമോ?” “യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, അങ്ങുമാത്രം അറിയുന്നു,” എന്നു ഞാൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
4 Again he said to me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say to them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
അപ്പോൾ അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചു: “ഈ അസ്ഥികളോട് പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയുക: ‘ഉണങ്ങിയ അസ്ഥികളേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾക്കുക!
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD to these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഈ അസ്ഥികളോട് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിലേക്കു ശ്വാസം അയയ്ക്കും. നിങ്ങൾക്കു ജീവൻ തിരികെ ലഭിക്കും.
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.
ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ ഞരമ്പുവെച്ച്, മാംസം പിടിപ്പിച്ച്, ത്വക്കുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളെ പൊതിയും. അതിനുശേഷം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളിലേക്കു ശ്വാസം അയയ്ക്കും നിങ്ങൾ ജീവിക്കയും ചെയ്യും. അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
അങ്ങനെ എന്നോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ പ്രവചിച്ചു. ഞാൻ പ്രവചിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു; ഒരു പ്രകമ്പനംതന്നെ. അപ്പോൾ അസ്ഥികൾ ഒരുമിച്ചുവന്നു, അസ്ഥികൾ ഒന്നോടൊന്നുചേർന്നു.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but [there was] no breath in them.
ഞാൻ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ ഞരമ്പും മാംസവും അവയുടെമേൽ വന്നുചേർന്നു. ത്വക്ക് അവയെ പൊതിഞ്ഞു, എന്നാൽ ശ്വാസം അവയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
9 Then said he to me, Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
അപ്പോൾ അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചു: “കാറ്റിനോടു പ്രവചിക്കുക. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ കാറ്റിനോടു പ്രവചിച്ച് അതിനോടു കൽപ്പിക്കുക: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ശ്വാസമേ, നാലു കാറ്റുകളിൽനിന്നും വന്ന് ഈ നിഹതന്മാർ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അവരിലേക്ക് ഊതുക.’”
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
അങ്ങനെ അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ പ്രവചിച്ചു. ശ്വാസം അവരിലേക്കു വന്നു. അവർ ജീവിച്ച് ഒരു വലിയ സൈന്യമായി സ്വന്തം കാലുകളിൽ നിവർന്നുനിന്നു.
11 Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
അനന്തരം അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചു: “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഈ അസ്ഥികൾ ഇസ്രായേൽഗൃഹം മുഴുവനും അത്രേ. ‘ഞങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികൾ ഉണങ്ങി; ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രത്യാശ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുപോയി; ഞങ്ങൾ നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു,’ എന്ന് അവർ പറയുന്നു.
12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
അതിനാൽ നീ പ്രവചിച്ച് അവരോടു പറയുക: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: എന്റെ ജനമേ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ശവക്കുഴികൾ തുറന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ അവയിൽനിന്ന് കയറ്റാൻ പോകുന്നു. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഇസ്രായേൽദേശത്തേക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുവരും.
13 And ye shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you out of your graves,
ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ശവക്കുഴികൾ തുറന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ അവയിൽനിന്നു കയറ്റുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് എന്റെ ജനമായ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken [it], and performed [it], saith the LORD.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ നിങ്ങളിലേക്കയയ്ക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ ജീവിക്കും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തം ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങളെ പാർപ്പിക്കും. യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, ഞാൻ അതു ചെയ്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് അപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.’”
15 The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്ക് ഇപ്രകാരം ഉണ്ടായി:
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:
“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മരംകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു വടി എടുത്ത് അതിന്മേൽ ‘യെഹൂദയ്ക്കും അവനോടു ചേർന്ന ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കും’ എന്ന് എഴുതുക. അതിനുശേഷം മറ്റൊരു വടി എടുത്ത് അതിന്മേൽ, ‘എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ വടി, യോസേഫിനും അവനോടു ചേർന്ന ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കും’ എന്ന് എഴുതുക.
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thy hand.
പിന്നെ അവ ഒന്നിച്ചുചേർക്കുക; അവ നിന്റെ കൈയിൽ ഒറ്റ വടിയായിത്തീരും.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak to thee, saying, Wilt thou not show us what thou [meanest] by these?
“നിന്റെ ദേശക്കാർ, ‘ഇതിന്റെ അർഥം എന്താണെന്നു ഞങ്ങളോടു പറയുകയില്ലേ?’ എന്നു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോൾ
19 Say to them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.
അവരോട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുക: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ കൈയിലുള്ള യോസേഫിന്റെ വടിയും അവനോടു ചേർന്നിട്ടുള്ള ഇസ്രായേൽ ഗോത്രങ്ങളെയും എടുത്ത് അവയെ യെഹൂദയുടെ വടിയോടുചേർത്ത് ഒന്നാക്കിത്തീർക്കും, അവ ഒറ്റയൊരു വടിയാകും; അവ എന്റെ കൈയിൽ ഒന്നായിത്തീരും.’
20 And the sticks on which thou writest shall be in thy hand before their eyes.
നീ എഴുതിയ വടികൾ അവരുടെ കണ്മുമ്പിൽ പിടിക്കുക.
21 And say to them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
എന്നിട്ട് അവരോടു പറയുക: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തെ അവർ പോയിട്ടുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവരും. ഞാൻ അവരെ എല്ലായിടത്തുനിന്നും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്ത് അവരുടെ സ്വന്തം ദേശത്തേക്ക് തിരികെവരുത്തും.
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
ഞാൻ അവരെ ഇസ്രായേൽ പർവതങ്ങളിന്മേൽ ഒരു രാജ്യമാക്കിത്തീർക്കും. അവർക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും ഒരു രാജാവ് ഉണ്ടാകും. അവർ ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും രണ്ടു രാഷ്ട്രം ആകുകയില്ല; രണ്ടു രാജ്യമായി വിഭജിക്കപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല.
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling-places, in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
അവർ മേലാൽ തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാലോ മ്ലേച്ഛബിംബങ്ങളാലോ അതിക്രമങ്ങളാലോ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ അശുദ്ധരാക്കുകയില്ല. അവരുടെ പാപകരമായ പിന്മാറ്റത്തിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ അവരെ രക്ഷിക്കും, ഞാൻ അവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കും. അവർ എന്റെ ജനമായും ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ദൈവമായും തീരും.
24 And David my servant [shall be] king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
“‘എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദ് അവർക്കു രാജാവായിരിക്കും. അവർക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും ഒരു ഇടയൻ ഉണ്ടാവും. അവർ എന്റെ നിയമങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ച് എന്റെ ഉത്തരവുകൾ പ്രമാണിക്കാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കും.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers have dwelt, and they shall dwell in it, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David [shall be] their prince for ever.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബിനു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്ത്, നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ ജീവിച്ച ദേശത്തുതന്നെ അവർ പാർക്കും. അവരും അവരുടെ മക്കളും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളും എന്നേക്കും അവിടെ പാർക്കും. എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദ് അവർക്ക് എന്നേക്കും പ്രഭുവായിരിക്കും.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
ഞാൻ അവരുമായി ഒരു സമാധാന ഉടമ്പടിയിൽ ഏർപ്പെടും. അതൊരു ശാശ്വത ഉടമ്പടി ആയിരിക്കും. ഞാൻ അവരെ സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തി അവരുടെ സംഖ്യയെ വർധിപ്പിക്കും. ഞാൻ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ എന്നേക്കുമായി അവരുടെ മധ്യേ സ്ഥാപിക്കും.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
എന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലം അവരോടുകൂടെ ആയിരിക്കും. ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ദൈവവും അവർ എനിക്കു ജനവും ആയിരിക്കും.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for ever.
എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം ശാശ്വതമായി അവരുടെ മധ്യേ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ ഇസ്രായേലിനെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ഇതരരാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾ അറിയും.’”
