< Ezekiel 35 >
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn se:
2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
“Onipa ba, fa wʼani kyerɛ Bepɔw Seir; hyɛ nkɔm tia no,
3 And say to it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out my hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
na ka se, ‘Sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: Me ne wo anya, Bepɔw Seir, na mɛteɛ me basa atia wo na mɛma wo ada mpan.
4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD.
Mɛdan wo nkurow ama ayɛ mmubui na wobɛda mpan. Afei wubehu sɛ mene Awurade no.
5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed [the blood of] the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time [that their] iniquity [had] an end:
“‘Esiane sɛ wode tete nitan hyɛɛ wo mu na wuyii Israelfo maa afoa wɔ wɔn amanehunu mu, bere a wɔn asotwe duu ne mpɔmpɔnso no
6 Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee to blood, and blood shall pursue thee: since thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
nti, sɛ mete ase yi de, Otumfo Awurade asɛm ni, mede wo bɛma mogyahwiegu na ebedi wʼakyi. Esiane sɛ woansuro mogyahwiegu no nti, mogyahwiegu bɛtaa wo.
7 Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
Mɛma bepɔw Seir ada mpan, na mayi wɔn a wodi so akɔneaba no afi hɔ.
8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain [men]: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
Mede atɔfo bɛhyɛ wo mmepɔw so ma; wɔn a wɔbɛtotɔ wɔ afoa ano bɛtotɔ ase wɔ wo nkoko so, aku mu ne wo subon mu.
9 I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.
Mɛma woada mpan afebɔɔ, na obiara rentena wo nkurow so. Afei wubehu sɛ mene Awurade no.
10 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
“‘Woaka se, “Saa aman abien ne nsase yi bɛyɛ yɛn dea, na yɛbɛfa,” wɔ bere a me Awurade mete hɔ;
11 Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thy anger, and according to thy envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
enti sɛ mete ase yi, Otumfo Awurade asɛm ni, me ne wo bedi no sɛnea abufuw ne ninkunu a wodaa no adi wɔ ɔtan a wotan wɔn no mu no te, na mɛda me ho adi wɔ wɔn mu, bere a mebu wo atɛn.
12 And thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD, [and that] I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
Afei wubehu sɛ me Awurade, mate animtiaabu nsɛm a woaka atia Israel mmepɔw no. Wokae se, “Wɔama ada mpan na wɔadan ama yɛn sɛ yɛmfa.”
13 Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard [them].
Mohoahoaa mo ho tiaa me na mokasa tiaa me a moanto sɛbe, na metee.
14 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
Sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se: Bere a wiase nyinaa redi ahurusi no, mɛma wo ada mpan.
15 As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do to thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, [even] all of it: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
Sɛnea wudii ahurusi bere a Israelfi agyapade daa mpan no, saa ɔkwan no na mede wo bɛfa so. Wobɛda mpan, Bepɔw Seir, wo ne Edom nyinaa. Afei wobehu sɛ mene Awurade no.’”
