< Ezekiel 35 >
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị,
2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
“Nwa nke mmadụ, chee ihu imegide nʼugwu Sia, buo amụma megide ya,
3 And say to it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out my hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
sị ya, ‘Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị: Mụ onwe m na-emegide gị, gị ugwu Sia. Aga m esetikwa aka m imegide gị, mee gị ka ị ghọọ ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu.
4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD.
Obodo gị niile ka m ga-eme ka ha ghọọ mkpọmkpọ ebe, gị onwe gị ga-abụkwa ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu. Mgbe ahụ, ị ga-amata na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị.
5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed [the blood of] the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time [that their] iniquity [had] an end:
“‘Nʼihi na i sitere nʼiro ahụ dị gị nʼobi siterịị na mgbe ochie rara ụmụ Izrel nye nʼaka mma agha, nʼoge ha nọ na-ahụju anya, nʼoge ahụ ịta ahụhụ nke ajọ omume ruru nʼogo dị ukwuu.
6 Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee to blood, and blood shall pursue thee: since thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
Nʼihi nke a, ebe m na-adị ndụ, otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwubiri, aga m enyefe gị nʼaka ndị na-awụsi ọbara. Ọbara ga-achụkwa gị ọsọ. Ebe ọ bụ na ị kpọghị iwusi ọbara asị, ọbara a ga-awụsị nʼime gị ga-achụ gị ọsọ.
7 Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
Aga m eme ka ugwu Sia ghọọ ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu. Aga m esitekwa nʼime ya bipụ ndị na-abata abata, na ndị na-apụ apụ.
8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain [men]: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
Ugwu ukwu gị niile ga-ejupụta nʼozu ndị nwụrụ anwụ, ugwu nta niile, na ndagwurugwu niile na mgbawara niile dị nʼala ga-ejupụta nʼozu ndị e ji mma agha gbuo.
9 I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.
Ị gaghị ebulitekwa isi gị ọzọ. Ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu ka ị ga-abụ ruo ebighị ebi. A gaghị ewuzikwa obodo gị ọzọ. Ị ga-amatakwa na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị.
10 Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
“‘Nʼihi na ị sịrị, “Mba abụọ ndị a, na ala abụọ ndị a ga-abụ nke anyị, anyị ga-enweta ha,” nʼagbanyeghị na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị nọ nʼebe ahụ.
11 Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thy anger, and according to thy envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
Nʼihi ya, ebe m na-adị ndụ, otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwubiri, aga m emeso gị mmeso dịka ịba ụba nke iwe gị na ekworo gị si dị, bụ nke i gosiri mgbe ị kpọrọ ha asị. Aga m emekwa ka ha mata onye m bụ, mgbe m kpesịrị gị ikpe.
12 And thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD, [and that] I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
Mgbe ahụ, ị ga-amata na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị nụrụ okwu ọjọọ ndị ahụ niile i kwuru megide ugwu Izrel niile, na-asị, “E meela ha ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu, ewerela ha nyefee anyị nʼaka ka anyị dọgbuo ha.”
13 Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard [them].
Unu nyakwara isi megide m, kwuo okwu kwugide m dịka o si dị unu mma. Anụkwara m ihe niile unu kwuru.
14 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị, Mgbe ụwa niile na-aṅụrị ọṅụ ka m ga-eme ka ị ghọọ mkpọmkpọ ebe.
15 As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do to thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, [even] all of it: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
Dịka ị ṅụrịrị ọṅụ mgbe ihe nketa Izrel ghọrọ mkpọmkpọ ebe, otu a ka m ga-esi mesoo gị mmeso. Ị ga-aghọkwa ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu, gị ugwu Sia, gị na ndị Edọm niile. Mgbe ahụ, ha ga-amata na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị.’”
