Ezekiel 24
1 Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
১বাবিলে আমাদের বন্দিত্বের সময়ে আবার নবম বৎসরের দশম মাসে, মাসের দশম দিনের সদাপ্রভুর এ বাক্য আমার কাছে এল এবং বলল,
2 Son of man, Write for thee the name of the day, [even] of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.
২“মানুষের সন্তান তুমি নিজে এই দিনের র নাম এই সঠিক দিনের র নাম লিখে রাখ, আজকের এইদিনের বাবিল-রাজ যিরূশালেমের ঘেরাও হল
3 And utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set [it] on, and also pour water into it:
৩তুমি এই বিদ্রোহী কুলের উদ্দেশ্যে এক প্রবাদ বাক্য বল, তাদেরকে নীতিগল্প বল এবং তাদেরকে বল, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, চড়াও হাঁড়ী চড়াও, তার মধ্যে জল দাও।
4 Gather its pieces into it, [even] every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill [it] with the choice bones.
৪তার ভেতর খাবারের টুকরো রাখ, প্রত্যেক ভালো টুকরো, উরু ও কাঁধ রাখ, ভর্তি কর সবচেয়ে ভালো হাড় দিয়ে।
5 Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, [and] make it boil well, and let them boil its bones in it.
৫পালের মধ্যে থেকে সবচেয়ে ভালো মেষ নাও এবং তার নিচে হাড় দিয়ে গাদা কর, সম্পূর্ণভাবে সেদ্ধ কর।
6 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum [is] therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
৬অতএব প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, ধিক্ সেই রক্তে পূর্ণ শহরকে, সেই হাঁড়ীকে, যার মধ্যে কলঙ্ক আছে ও যার কলঙ্ক তার ভেতর থেকে বের হবে না। এটা থেকে টুকরো টুকরো করে নাও কিন্তু গণনা করা হয়নি।
7 For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;
৭কারণ তার রক্ত তার মধ্যে আছে; সে মসৃণ পাথরের ওপরে তা রেখেছে, ধূলো দিয়ে ঢেকে রাখবার জন্য মাটিতে রাখেনি।
8 That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.
৮রাগ করে প্রতিশোধ নেবার জন্য, আমি তার রক্ত মসৃণ পাথরের ওপরে রেখেছি, যাতে ঢাকা না পড়ে।
9 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
৯তাই প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, ধিক্ সেই রক্তে পূর্ণ শহরকে। আমি কাঠের স্তুপকে বাড়াবো।
10 Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
১০আরো কাঠ নাও, আগুন জ্বালাও, মাংস সম্পূর্ণভাবে রান্না কর ঝোল কর, হাড় ভালো করে পোড়াও।
11 Then set it empty upon its coals, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and [that] the filthiness of it may be melted in it, [that] the scum of it may be consumed.
১১তারপর হাঁড়ী ফাঁকা হলে তা কয়লার ওপরে তা রাখ, যেন তা গরম হলে তার পিতল দগ্ধ হয় এবং তার মধ্যে তার অশুচি গলে যায় ও তার কলঙ্ক শেষ হয়ে যায়।
12 She hath wearied [herself] with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum [shall be] in the fire.
১২সে পরিশ্রমে ক্লান্ত হয়েছে, কারণ তার কলঙ্ক তার ভেতর থেকে আগুনের দ্বারা বের হয়নি।
13 In thy filthiness [is] lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
১৩তোমার লজ্জাজনক ব্যবহার তোমার অশুচি কাজে আছে; আমি তোমাকে শুচি করলেও তুমি শুচি হলে না, এই জন্য তুমি অশুচি থেকে শুচি করা হবে না, যতক্ষণ না আমি আমার রাগ থেকে মুক্ত করবো।
14 I the LORD have spoken [it]; it shall come to pass, and I will do [it]; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
১৪আমি সদাপ্রভু, এটা বললাম হবে, আমি এটা করব, আমি ক্ষান্ত হব না, এর থেকে বিরত হবো না, তোমার যেমন আচরণ এবং তোমার যেমন কাজ, তারা তোমার বিচার করবে।” একথা প্রভু সদাপ্রভু বলেন।
15 Also the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
১৫তারপর সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য আমার কাছে এল এবং বলল,
16 Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thy eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
১৬মানুষের সন্তান, দেখ, আমি তোমার চোখের ইচ্ছা তোমার থেকে নিয়ে নেব মহামারীর সঙ্গে কিন্তু তুমি শোক করবেনা কি কাঁদবে না এবং তোমার চোখের জল পড়বে না।
17 Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thy head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not [thy] lips, and eat not the bread of men.
১৭তুমি নিরবে দীর্ঘ নিঃশ্বাস ছাড়, মৃতের জন্য অন্তেষ্টি কাজ কোরো না; তুমি মাথায় পাগড়ি বাঁধ এবং পায়ে জুতো পরো, মাথায় ঘোমটা দিও না অথবা স্ত্রীর মৃতুতে দুঃখ পাওয়া লোকেদের পাঠানো রুটি খেওনা।
18 So I spoke to the people in the morning: and at evening my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
১৮তাই আমি সকালে লোকেদের সঙ্গে কথা বললাম এবং সন্ধ্যাবেলায় আমার স্ত্রী মারা গেল এবং সকালে আমি পাওয়া আদেশ অনুযায়ী কাজ করলাম।
19 And the people said to me, Wilt thou not tell us what these [things are] to us, that thou doest [so]?
১৯লোকেরা আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করল, তুমি কি আমাদের বলবে না এগুলোর মানে কি যেগুলো তুমি করছো?
20 Then I answered them, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
২০তাই আমি তাদেরকে বললাম, সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য আমার কাছে এল এবং বলল,
21 Speak to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellence of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
২১তুমি ইস্রায়েল-কুলকে বল, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, দেখ, তোমার শক্তির গর্ব, তোমার চোখের ইচ্ছা এবং তোমার আত্মার প্রবৃতি আমার পবিত্র স্থানকে কলুষিত করছে, তাই তোমার ছেলেরা এবং মেয়েরা যাদের তুমি রেখে যাচ্ছ তারা তরোয়ালের কোপে পড়বে।
22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover [your] lips, nor eat the bread of men.
২২তখন তোমার সেরকমই কাজ করবে যেমন আমি করেছি; মাথায় ঘোমটা দেবেনা, অথবা দুঃখী লোকেদের পাঠানো রুটি খাবেনা।
23 And your tires [shall be] upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one towards another.
২৩তার পরিবর্তে তোমার মাথায় পাগড়ি বাঁধ এবং পায়ে জুতো পরো, শোক করবে না কি কাঁদবে না, কারণ তোমার অপরাধ কমে যাবে এবং প্রত্যেকে তার ভাইয়ের জন্য আর্তনাদ করবে।
24 Thus Ezekiel is to you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD.
২৪তাই যিহিস্কেল তোমাদের জন্য চিহ্নস্বরূপ হবে; যেমন সব কিছু সে যা করেছে তুমি তাই করবে যখন এটা আসবে, তখন তোমার জানবে যে, আমিই প্রভু সদাপ্রভু।
25 Also, thou son of man, [shall it] not [be] in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that on which they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
২৫কিন্তু তুমি, মানুষের সন্তান, যে দিন আমি তাদের মন্দির দখল করি যা তাদের আনন্দ, তাদের গর্ব এবং যা তারা দেখে এবং আশা করে এবং যখন তাদের ছেলেদের এবং মেয়েদের নিয়ে নেবো
26 [That] he that escapeth in that day shall come to thee, to cause [thee] to hear [it] with [thy] ears?
২৬সেই দিন একজন শরণার্থী তোমার কাছে আসবে তোমাকে খবর দেওয়ার জন্য
27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him who hath escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign to them; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
২৭সেদিন তোমার মুখ খুলবে শরণার্থীর জন্য এবং তুমি কথা বলবে তুমি চুপ করে থাকতে পারবে না। তুমি তাদের জন্য চিহ্নস্বরূপ হবে যাতে তারা জানবে যে আমি সদাপ্রভু।
