Exodus 25

1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Og Herren tala til Moses, og sagde:

2 Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

«Seg med Israels-folket at dei skal koma med ei reida til meg! Kvar skal gjeva etter som han hev hjartelag til, og det dei gjev meg, skal de taka imot.

3 And this [is] the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver and brass,

Gåvorne som de skal taka imot av deim, det lyt vara gull og sylv og kopar

4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' [hair].

og purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt lin og geiteragg

5 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood.

og raudlita verskinn og markuskinn og akazietre,

6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,

olje til ljosestaken, kryddor til salvingsoljen og til den angande røykjelsen,

7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breast-plate.

sjohamsteinar og andre dyre steinar til å setja på messehakelen og bringeduken.

8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

Og dei skal gjera meg ein heilagdom, so vil eg bu imillom dei.

9 According to all that I show thee [after] the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all its instruments, even so shall ye make [it].

Både huset eg skal bu i og all husbunaden skal de i alle måtar gjera etter det bilætet eg vil syna deg.

10 And they shall make an ark [of] shittim wood: two cubits and a half [shall be] its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its hight.

Dei skal gjera ei kiste av akazietre, halvtridje aln lang og halvonnor aln breid og halvonnor aln høg.

11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold around it.

Den skal du klæda med skirt gull, både utan og innan skal du gullklæda henne, og gjera ein gullkrans på henne, rundt ikring.

12 And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put [them] in its four corners; and two rings [shall be] in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.

Du skal støypa fire gullringar, og festa deim i dei fire føterne på kista, tvo på den eine sida og tvo på den andre.

13 And thou shalt make staffs [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.

So skal du gjera stenger av akazietre og klæda deim med gull,

14 And thou shalt put the staffs into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

og smøygja deim inn i ringarne på sidorne av kista; dei skal vera til å bera henne etter.

15 The staffs shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.

Stengerne skal allstødt sitja i ringarne på kista; dei må aldri takast utor.

16 And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

I den kista skal du leggja lovtavlorne som eg vil gjeva deg.

17 And thou shalt make a mercy-seat [of] pure gold: two cubits and a half [shall be] its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth.

So skal du gjera eit lok av skirt gull, halvtridje aln lang og halvonnor aln breidt.

18 And thou shalt make two cherubim [of] gold, [of] beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy-seat.

På endarne av det skal vera tvo kerubar; deim skal du gjera av drive gull.

19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: [even] of the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim on its two ends.

Den eine keruben skal vera ytst på den eine enden og den andre ytst på hin enden; i eitt med loket skal de gjera kerubarne, ein på kvar ende.

20 And the cherubim shall stretch forth [their] wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, and their faces [shall look] one to another; towards the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

Kerubarne skal halda vengjerne utbreidde og upplyfte, so dei tekkjer yver loket med vengjerne sine, og andliti deira skal snu imot einannan: dei skal vende augo mot loket.

21 And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

So skal du leggja loket på kista, og inni kista skal du leggja lovtavlorne som eg vil gjeva deg.

22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which [are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all [things] which I will give thee in commandment to the children of Israel.

Og sidan vil eg møtast med deg der; frå romet yver loket millom båe kerubarne som er ovanpå lovtavlekista, vil eg tala med deg kvar gong eg sender deg med bod til Israels-folket.

23 Thou shalt also make a table [of] shittim wood: its length shall be two cubits, and its breadth a cubit, and its hight a cubit and a half.

So skal du gjera eit bord av akazietre, tvo alner langt og ei aln breidt og halvonnor aln høgt.

24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make to it a crown of gold around it.

Du skal klæda det med skirt gull, og gjera ein gullkrans på det, rundt ikring.

25 And thou shalt make to it a border of an hand-breadth around it, and thou shalt make a golden crown to its border around it.

Ei løvdebreid list skal du gjera rundt um det, og på listi skal du gjera ein gullkrans, som gjeng heilt ikring.

26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that [are] on its four feet.

So skal du gjera fire gullringar, og deim skal du setja i dei fire hyrno på dei fire bordføterne.

27 Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staffs to bear the table.

Tett uppmed listi skal ringarne sitja; dei skal vera til å smøygja berestenger inn i.

28 And thou shalt make the staffs [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.

Stengerne skal du gjera av akazietre, og klæda deim med gull; deim er det bordet skal berast i.

29 And thou shalt make its dishes, and its spoons, and its covers, and its bowls, to cover it with: [of] pure gold shalt thou make them.

Sidan skal du gjera dei fati og skålerne som høyrer til bordet, og kannorne og bollarne som de skal skjenkja drykkoffer av; alt dette skal du gjera av skirt gull.

30 And thou shalt set upon the table show-bread before me always.

På bordet skal du allstødt setja fram skodebrød for meg.

31 And thou shalt make a candlestick [of] pure gold: [of] beaten work shall the candlestick be made: its shaft, and its branches, its bowls, its knobs, and its flowers, shall be of the same.

So skal du gjera ein ljosestake av skirt gull; drive arbeid skal det vera, både hoven og leggen. På staken skal det vera blomar, knuppar og utsprotne blad, og dei skal vera samgjorde med honom.

32 And six branches shall extend from the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick from the one side, and three branches of the candlestick from the other side:

Seks armar skal greina seg ut ifrå honom, tri på den eine sida og tri på den andre.

33 Three bowls made like to almonds, [with] a knob and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, [with] a knob and a flower: so in the six branches that project from the candlestick.

På den eine armen skal det vera tri utsprotne mandelblomar, med knupp og blad, og på den andre armen skal og vera tri utsprotne mandelblomar, med knupp og blad, og soleis på alle dei seks armarne som greinar seg ut ifrå ljosestaken.

34 And in the candlesticks [shall be] four bowls made like to almonds, [with] their knobs and their flowers.

På sjølve staken skal det vera fire utsprotne mandelblomar, med knupp og blad:

35 And [there shall be] a knob under two branches of the same, and a knob under two branches of the same, and a knob under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that project from the candlestick.

ein blomsterknupp under dei fyrste tvo armarne, og ein under dei næste tvo armarne, og ein under det tridje paret av dei seks armarne som greinar seg ut ifrå ljosestaken.

36 Their knobs and their branches shall be of the same: all of it [shall be] one beaten work [of] pure gold.

Både blomsterknupparne og armarne skal vera samsmidde med staken: alt skal vera eitt heilgjort arbeid av drive skirt gull.

37 And thou shalt make its seven lamps: and they shall light its lamps, that they may give light over against it.

So skal du gjera lamporne til ljosestaken, sju i talet, og dei skal setjast upp so ljoset fell på den veggen som er midt imot staken.

38 And its tongs, and its snuff-dishes, [shall be of] pure gold.

Sakserne og saksplatorne som høyrer til, skal vera av skirt gull.

39 [Of] a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.

Tri vågar skirt gull skal de bruka til ljosestaken og alle desse gognerne.

40 And look that thou make [them] after their pattern, which was shown thee on the mount.
