Exodus 24
1 And he said to Moses, Come up to the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.
೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನೀನು, ಆರೋನ್, ನಾದಾಬ್, ಅಬೀಹೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಆರಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು.
2 And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.
೨ಮೋಶೆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರು ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬಾರದು. ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಜನರು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಲೇಬಾರದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we perform.
೩ಮೋಶೆ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುವೆವು” ಎಂದು ಒಕ್ಕೊರಳಿನಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose early in the morning, and built an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
೪ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರೆದಿಟ್ಟನು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತಪ್ಪಲಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕುಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt-offerings, and sacrificed peace-offerings of oxen to the LORD.
೫ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put [it] in basins; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
೬ಅನಂತರ ಮೋಶೆ ಆ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಟ್ಟಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
೭ತರುವಾಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಓದಿದನು. ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿ, “ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾವು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವೆವು” ಅಂದರು.
8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled [it] on the people, and said, Behold, the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
೮ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿ, “ಇಗೋ ಈ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ರಕ್ತವು ಇದೇ” ಅಂದನು.
9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
೯ಮೋಶೆ, ಆರೋನ್, ನಾದಾಬ್, ಅಬೀಹೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಜನರು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದರು.
10 And they saw the God of Israel: and [there was] under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire-stone, and as it were the body of heaven in [its] clearness.
೧೦ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನವಾಯಿತು. ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರು. ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲದಂತೆ ಅತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದ ಇಂದ್ರನೀಲಮಣಿಯ ನೆಲಗಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಪಾದಪೀಠವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and ate and drank.
೧೧ಆತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮುಖಂಡರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.
12 And the LORD said to Moses, Come up to me on the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayst teach them.
೧೨ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರು. ನೀನು ಆ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಶಿಲಾಶಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
13 And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up upon the mount of God.
೧೩ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ದೇವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
14 And he said to the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again to you: and behold, Aaron and Hur [are] with you: if any man hath any matters to do, let him come to them.
೧೪ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ಅವನು ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ತಿರುಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರಿ. ಆರೋನನು ಮತ್ತು ಹೂರನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವರು. ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಿದ್ದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
15 And Moses went up upon the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
೧೫ಮೋಶೆಯು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಘವು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called to Moses from the midst of the cloud.
೧೬ಯೆಹೋವನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಸೀನಾಯಿಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಮೇಘವು ಆರು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೇಘದೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿ ಕರೆದನು.
17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD [was] like devouring fire on the top of the mount, in the eyes of the children of Israel.
೧೭ಯೆಹೋವನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಹಿಸುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.
18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and ascended the mount: and Moses was on the mount forty days and forty nights.
೧೮ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ಮೇಘದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿದನು. ಅವನು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿನ ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದನು.
