Exodus 2
1 And there went a man of the house of Levi, and married a daughter of Levi.
၁လေဝိအမျိုးသားတစ်ယောက်သည် လေဝိ အမျိုးသမီးတစ်ဦးနှင့်အိမ်ထောင်ပြု၍၊-
2 And the woman conceived, and bore a son: and when she saw him that he [was a] goodly [child], she hid him three months.
၂သားတစ်ယောက်ကိုရ၏။ ထိုသားသည်ချစ်ဖွယ် ကောင်းသည်ကိုမိခင်မြင်လျှင်၊ သုံးလကြာ မျှဝှက်ထားလေ၏။-
3 And when she could no longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid [it] in the flags by the river's brink.
၃မိခင်သည်သားကိုဆက်လက်၍မဝှက်ထား နိုင်တော့သဖြင့်၊ ကူရိုးများနှင့်ခြင်းတောင်း တစ်လုံးကိုရက်လုပ်၍၊ ကတ္တရာနှင့်သစ်စေး သုတ်ပြီးနောက်၊ ကလေးကိုခြင်းထဲ၌ထည့် ပြီးလျှင်မြစ်ကမ်းစပ်ရှိကိုင်းတောတွင်ချ ထားလေ၏။-
4 And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him.
၄ထိုသားငယ်၏အစ်မသည်မလှမ်းမကမ်းနေ ရာမှ ကလေး၏အရိပ်အခြေကိုစောင့်ကြည့် နေလေ၏။
5 And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash [herself] at the river, and her maidens walked along by the river's side: and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.
၅ဖာရောဘုရင်၏သမီးတော်သည်ရေချိုးရန် မြစ်ထဲသို့ဆင်းလာစဉ်၊ သူ၏အခြွေအရံတို့ ကမြစ်ကမ်းပေါ်တွင်လမ်းလျှောက်၍စောင့်ကြပ် နေကြ၏။ သမီးတော်သည်ကိုင်းတောထဲ၌ ခြင်းတောင်းကိုမြင်လျှင်၊ ကျွန်မတစ်ယောက် ကိုလွှတ်၍ထိုခြင်းတောင်းကိုယူခဲ့စေ၏။-
6 And when she had opened [it], she saw the child: and behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This [is one] of the Hebrews' children.
၆ဖာရောဘုရင်၏သမီးတော်သည်ခြင်းတောင်း ကိုဖွင့်ကြည့်သောအခါ၊ ငိုလျက်နေသောသူ ငယ်ကိုမြင်ရသော်ကလေးကိုသနားကြင် နာ၍``ဤကလေးသည်ဟေဗြဲအမျိုးသား ကလေးဖြစ်ပါသည်တကား'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။
7 Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go, and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee?
၇ထိုအခါကလေး၏အစ်မက``အရှင်မ အတွက် ဟေဗြဲနို့ထိန်းတစ်ဦးခေါ်ပေးရ ပါမည်လော'' ဟုမေးလျှင်၊
8 And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother.
၈မင်းသမီးက``သွား၍ခေါ်လော့'' ဟုဆိုလေ ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်မိန်းမငယ်သည်ကလေး၏ မိခင်ကိုခေါ်ခဲ့ရာ၊-
9 And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Take this child away and nurse it for me, and I will give [thee] thy wages. And the woman took the child and nursed it.
၉မင်းသမီးက``ဤကလေးကိုငါ့အတွက်နို့ တိုက်မွေးပေးပါ။ သင့်အားအခပေးမည်'' ဟု ကလေး၏မိခင်အားဆိုလေ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့် မိခင်သည်ကလေးကိုယူ၍ထိန်းလေ၏။-
10 And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.
၁၀မင်းသမီးအားပြန်အပ်နိုင်သည့်အရွယ်သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊ မိခင်သည်ကလေးကိုမင်း သမီးထံသို့ပြန်အပ်ရာ၊ မင်းသမီးက ထို ကလေးငယ်ကိုသားအဖြစ်မွေးစား၍``ငါ သည်သူငယ်ကိုရေထဲမှထုတ်ယူရသည်'' ဟု ဆိုလျက်မောရှေဟုနာမည်မှည့်လေ၏။
11 And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting a Hebrew, one of his brethren.
၁၁ကာလအတန်ကြာ၍မောရှေသည်အရွယ် ရောက်လာသောအခါ၊ သူ၏အမျိုးသားတို့ ထံသို့သွားရောက်လည်ပတ်လေ၏။ သူသည် မိမိ၏အမျိုးသားများဆင်းရဲပင်ပန်းစွာ အလုပ်ကြမ်းလုပ်နေရသည်ကိုတွေ့မြင်ရ၏။ အီဂျစ်အမျိုးသားတစ်ဦးကသူ၏အမျိုး သားဟေဗြဲလူမျိုးတစ်ယောက်အားရိုက်နှက် နေသည်ကိုမြင်ရသောအခါ၊-
12 And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that [there was] no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.
၁၂သူသည်ဟိုဟိုသည်သည်ကြည့်၍ မည်သူတစ် စုံတစ်ယောက်ကိုမျှမမြင်ရလျှင်၊ အီဂျစ် အမျိုးသားကိုသတ်၍အလောင်းကိုသဲထဲ ၌မြှုပ်ထားခဲ့လေသည်။-
13 And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Why smitest thou thy fellow?
၁၃နောက်တစ်နေ့တွင်သူသည်ထွက်လာပြန်ရာ ဟေဗြဲအမျိုးသားနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် အချင်း ချင်းရိုက်ပုတ်ထိုးသတ်နေကြသည်ကိုမြင် ရလေ၏။ သူကမတရားသဖြင့်ပြုကျင့်နေ သူအား``သင်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ကိုယ့်အမျိုး သားချင်းကိုရိုက်နှက်နေရသနည်း'' ဟုမေး လေ၏။
14 And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.
၁၄ထိုသူက``ငါတို့အမှုကိုစီရင်ရန်မည်သူ က သင့်အားတရားသူကြီးအဖြစ်ခန့်ထား သနည်း။ သင်သည်အီဂျစ်အမျိုးသားကို သတ်သကဲ့သို့ ငါ့ကိုသတ်ချင်သေးသလော'' ဟုပြန်ပြောလေ၏။ ထိုအခါမောရှေသည်မိမိ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သောအမှုကိုလူတို့သိကုန်ကြ ပြီဟူ၍ဆိုလျက်ထိတ်လန့်လေ၏။-
15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.
၁၅ဖာရောဘုရင်သည်ထိုသတင်းကိုကြားရသော အခါ မောရှေအားသတ်ရန်ကြံစည်လေ၏။ သို့ ရာတွင်မောရှေသည်ထွက်ပြေး၍မိဒျန်ပြည် ၌နေထိုင်လေ၏။ တစ်နေ့သ၌မောရှေသည်ရေတွင်းအနီး၌ထိုင် နေစဉ် မိဒျန်ပြည်၌နေထိုင်သောယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ယေသရော၏သမီးခုနစ်ယောက်တို့သည် ဖခင် ၏သိုးနှင့်ဆိတ်များအတွက်ရေတွင်းမှရေခပ် ပြီးလျှင် ရေသောက်ခွက်တွင်ရေဖြည့်ရန်လာ ကြ၏။-
16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew [water], and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.
၁၆
17 And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.
၁၇သို့ရာတွင်သိုးထိန်းအချို့တို့သည်ယေသရော ၏သမီးတို့ကိုနှင်ပစ်လေ၏။ ထိုအခါမောရှေ သည်အမျိုးသမီးတို့ကိုကူညီသည့်အနေ ဖြင့်၊ သူတို့၏သိုးနှင့်ဆိတ်များကိုသူကိုယ် တိုင်ရေတိုက်လေ၏။-
18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How [is it that] you are come so soon to day?
၁၈အမျိုးသမီးတို့သည်ဖခင်ယေသရောထံသို့ ပြန်ရောက်လာကြသောအခါ၊ ဖခင်က``သင်တို့ ယနေ့အိမ်သို့အပြန်စောလှချည့်လား'' ဟု ဆိုလေ၏။
19 And they said, An Egyptian delivered us from the hand of the shepherds, and also drew [water] enough for us, and watered the flock.
၁၉သူတို့က``အီဂျစ်ပြည်သားတစ်ယောက်က ကျွန်မတို့အား သိုးထိန်းတို့ရန်မှကာကွယ် ပေးသည့်အပြင်ကျွန်မတို့၏သိုးဆိတ်များ အတွက်ရေခပ်၍တိုက်ပါသည်'' ဟုပြန်ဖြေ ကြ၏။
20 And he said to his daughters, And where [is] he? why [is] it [that] ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.
၂၀ဖခင်က``ထိုသူယခုအဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်သူ့ကိုထားခဲ့ကြသနည်း။ သူ့ ကိုဧည့်ဝတ်ပြုရန်သွား၍ဖိတ်ခေါ်လော့'' ဟု စေခိုင်းလေ၏။
21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.
၂၁မောရှေသည်ယေသရောနှင့်အတူနေထိုင်၍၊ ယေသရော၏သမီးဇိပေါရနှင့်အိမ်ထောင် ဘက်ပြုလေ၏။-
22 And she bore [him] a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.
၂၂ဇိပေါရသည်သားတစ်ယောက်ကိုဖွားမြင်သော အခါ၊ မောရှေက``ငါသည်တစ်ရပ်တစ်ကျေးတွင် ဧည့်သည်ဖြစ်ရပါသည်'' ဟုဆို၍ထိုသားကို ဂေရရှုံဟုနာမည်မှည့်လေ၏။
23 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried; and their cry ascended to God, by reason of the bondage.
၂၃ကာလအတန်ကြာသော် အီဂျစ်ပြည်ဘုရင် အနိစ္စရောက်လေ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ကျွန်ခံရသောဒဏ်ကြောင့် ညည်းညူလျက်ရှိရကြသေး၏။ ကျွန်ခံရ သောဘဝမှလွတ်မြောက်ရေးအတွက် သူတို့ အော်ဟစ်တောင်းလျှောက်သောအသံသည် ဘုရားသခင်ထံတော်သို့ရောက်လေ၏။-
24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
၂၄ထာဝရဘုရားသခင်သည်သူတို့၏ညည်း ညူသံကိုကြားတော်မူ၍အာဗြဟံ၊ ဣဇာက်၊ ယာကုပ်တို့နှင့်ပြုထားသောပဋိညာဉ်ကို သတိရလျက်၊-
25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect to [them].
၂၅ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ခံရသောဒုက္ခ ဆင်းရဲခြင်းကို ရှုမြင်သိမှတ်တော်မူ၏။
