1 And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and [upon] the isles of the sea.
Kalpasanna, nangituyang ni Ari Ahasuero iti panagbuis kadagiti daga ken kadagiti daga iti igid ti baybay.
2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
Amin dagiti nagun-od ti pannakabalinna ken kinamaingelna, agraman ti pakasaritaan ti kinatan-ok ni Mardokeo, isu a nangitan-okan kenkuana ti ari, naisurat dagitoy Iti Libro dagiti Cronicas dagiti Ari ti Media ken Persia.
3 For Mordecai the Jew [was] next to king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted by the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
Ni Mardokeo a Judio ti maikadua iti saad ni Ari Ahasuero. Natan-ok isuna kadagiti Judio ken nalatak kadagiti adu a kakabsatna a Judio, gapu ta kinalikagumanna ti pagsayaatan dagiti tattaona, ken nagsao para iti kinatalna dagiti amin a tattaona.
