Deuteronomy 8
1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers.
Сэ пэзиць ши сэ ымплиниць тоате порунчиле пе каре ви ле дау астэзь, ка сэ трэиць, сэ вэ ынмулциць ши сэ интраць ын стэпыниря цэрий пе каре а журат Домнул кэ о ва да пэринцилор воштри.
2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God hath led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, [and] to prove thee, to know what [was] in thy heart, whether thou wouldst keep his commandments, or not.
Аду-ць аминте де тот друмул пе каре те-а кэлэузит Домнул Думнезеул тэу ын тимпул ачестор патрузечь де ань ын пустиу, ка сэ те смеряскэ ши сэ те ынчерче, ка сэ-ць куноаскэ порнириле инимий ши сэ вадэ дакэ ай сэ пэзешть сау ну порунчиле Луй.
3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every [word] that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
Астфел, те-а смерит, те-а лэсат сэ суферь де фоаме ши те-а хрэнит ку манэ, пе каре нич ту н-о куноштяй ши нич пэринций тэй н-о куноскусерэ, ка сэ те ынвеце кэ омул ну трэеште нумай ку пыне, чи ку орьче лукру каре есе дин гура Домнулуй трэеште омул.
4 Thy raiment hath not become old upon thee, neither hath thy foot swelled these forty years.
Хайна ну ци с-а ынвекит пе тине ши нич ну ци с-ау умфлат пичоареле ын тимпул ачестор патрузечь де ань.
5 Thou shalt also consider in thy heart, that as a man chasteneth his son, [so] the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
Рекуноаште дар ын инима та кэ Домнул Думнезеул тэу те мустрэ кум мустрэ ун ом пе копилул луй.
6 Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
Сэ пэзешть порунчиле Домнулуй Думнезеулуй тэу, ка сэ умбли ын кэиле Луй, ши сэ те темь де Ел.
7 For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains, and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
Кэч Домнул Думнезеул тэу аре сэ те дукэ ынтр-о царэ бунэ, царэ ку пырае де апэ, ку извоаре ши ку лакурь, каре цышнеск дин вэй ши мунць;
8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig-trees, and pomegranates, a land of olive-oil, and honey;
царэ ку грыу, ку орз, ку вий, ку смокинь ши ку родий; царэ ку мэслинь ши ку мьере;
9 A land in which thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any [thing] in it, a land whose stones [are] iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
царэ унде вей мынка пыне дин белшуг, унде ну вей дуче липсэ де нимик; царэ але кэрей петре сунт де фер ши дин ай кэрей мунць вей скоате арамэ.
10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
Кынд вей мынка ши те вей сэтура, сэ бинекувынтезь пе Домнул Думнезеул тэу пентру цара чя бунэ пе каре ць-а дат-о.
11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:
Везь сэ ну уйць пе Домнул Думнезеул тэу, пынэ аколо ынкыт сэ ну пэзешть порунчиле, рындуелиле ши леӂиле Луй, пе каре ци ле дау азь.
12 Lest [when] thou hast eaten, and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt [in them];
Кынд вей мынка ши те вей сэтура, кынд вей зиди ши вей локуи ын касе фрумоасе,
13 And [when] thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold are increased, and all that thou hast is increased;
кынд вей ведя ынмулцинду-ци-се чирезиле де бой ши турмеле де ой, мэринду-ци-се арӂинтул ши аурул ши крескынду-ць тот че ай,
14 Then thy heart shall be lifted up, and thou shalt forget the LORD thy God (who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; )
я сяма сэ ну ци се умфле инима де мындрие ши сэ ну уйць пе Домнул Думнезеул тэу, каре те-а скос дин цара Еӂиптулуй, дин каса робией,
15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, [in which were] fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drouth, where [there was] no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
каре те-а дус ын ачел пустиу маре ши грозав, унде ерау шерпь ынфокаць ши скорпионь, ын локурь ускате ши фэрэ апэ, каре а фэкут сэ-ць цышняскэ апэ дин стынка чя май таре
16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end.
ши каре ць-а дат сэ мэнынчь ын пустиу мана ачея некуноскутэ де пэринций тэй, ка сэ те смеряскэ ши сэ те ынчерче ши сэ-ць факэ бине апой.
17 And thou shalt say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand hath gotten me this wealth.
Везь сэ ну зичь ын инима та: ‘Тэрия мя ши путеря мыний меле мь-ау кыштигат ачесте богэций.’
18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to thy fathers, as [it is] this day.
Чи аду-ць аминте де Домнул Думнезеул тэу, кэч Ел ыць ва да путере сэ ле кыштиӂь, ка сэ ынтэряскэ легэмынтул ынкеят ку пэринций воштри прин журэмынт, кум фаче астэзь.
19 And it shall be, if thou shalt at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
Дакэ вей уйта пе Домнул Думнезеул тэу ши вей мерӂе дупэ алць думнезей, дакэ ле вей служи ши те вей ынкина ынаинтя лор, вэ спун хотэрыт азь кэ вець пери.
20 As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient to the voice of the LORD your God.
Вець пери ка ши нямуриле пе каре ле-а пердут Домнул динаинтя воастрэ, пентру кэ ну вець аскулта гласул Домнулуй Думнезеулуй востру.
