Deuteronomy 34
1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab, upon the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that [is] over against Jericho: and the LORD showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan,
Entonces subió Moisés de la llanura de Moab a la montaña Nebo, a la cumbre de Pisga, que está frente a Jericó. Yavé le mostró toda la tierra, desde Galaad hasta Dan,
2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the utmost sea,
todo Neftalí, la tierra de Efraín y de Manasés, toda la tierra de Judá, hasta el mar Occidental,
3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm-trees, to Zoar.
el Neguev, y la llanura del valle de Jericó, la ciudad de las palmeras, hasta Soar.
4 And the LORD said to him, This [is] the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, I will give it to thy seed: I have caused thee to see [it] with thy eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
Yavé le dijo: Esta es la tierra de la cual juré a Abraham, Isaac y Jacob: La daré a tu descendencia. Te permití mirarla con tus ojos, pero no pasarás allá.
5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
Moisés, esclavo de Yavé, murió allí, en la tierra de Moab, conforme a la Palabra de Yavé.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulcher to this day.
Lo sepultó en el valle, en la tierra de Moab, frente a Bet-peor. Ningún hombre sabe el lugar de su sepulcro hasta hoy.
7 And Moses [was] a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
Tenía Moisés la edad de 120 años cuando murió. Sus ojos nunca se oscurecieron, ni se debilitó su vigor.
8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping [and] mourning for Moses were ended.
Los hijos de Israel lloraron a Moisés en los llanos de Moab durante 30 días. Así cumplieron los días del llanto como duelo por Moisés.
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened to him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
Josué, hijo de Nun, fue lleno del espíritu de sabiduría, pues Moisés impuso sus manos sobre él. Los hijos de Israel le obedecieron e hicieron como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
10 And there arose not a prophet afterwards in Israel like to Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
Pero no se ha levantado aún otro profeta en Israel semejante a Moisés, a quien Yavé trataba cara a cara.
11 In all the signs and the wonders which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
Nadie fue como él en todas las señales y prodigios que Yavé lo envió a hacer en la tierra de Egipto con respecto a Faraón, a todos sus esclavos y a toda su tierra,
12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses showed in the sight of all Israel.
ni en toda aquella mano poderosa y todos aquellos grandes portentos que Moisés hizo en presencia de todo Israel.
