< Deuteronomy 28 >
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently to the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe [and] to do all his commandments which I command thee this day; that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
In kun yi biyayya da maganar Ubangiji Allahnku, kuka kuma lura, kuka bi dukan umarnan da na ba ku a yau, Ubangiji Allahnku zai sa ku bisa dukan al’ummai a duniya.
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God.
Dukan waɗannan albarku za su sauko muku, su zama naku, in kuka yi biyayya ga Ubangiji Allahnku.
3 Blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the city, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the field.
Za ku zama masu albarka a cikin birni, za ku kuma zama masu albarka har a ƙauye.
4 Blessed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy cattle, and the flocks of thy sheep.
’Ya’yanku za su zama masu albarka, haka ma hatsin gonakinku da kuma’ya’yan dabbobinku, wato,’ya’yan shanu da’yan tumakinku.
5 Blessed [shall be] thy basket and thy store.
Za a albarkaci kwandonku da kwanon kwaɓan kullunku.
6 Blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou comest in, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou goest out.
Za ku zama masu albarka sa’ad da kuka shiga, za ku kuma zama masu albarka sa’ad da kuka fita.
7 The LORD shall cause thy enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
A gabanku, Ubangiji zai sa ku fatattaki abokan gāban da za su taso suna gāba da ku. Ta hanya guda za su auka muku, amma ta hanyoyi bakwai za su gudu daga gabanku.
8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy store-houses, and in all that thou settest thy hand to: and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Ubangiji zai aika da albarka a rumbunanku da kuma a bisa kome da kuka sa hannunku a kai. Ubangiji Allahnku zai albarkace ku a ƙasar da yake ba ku.
9 The LORD shall establish thee a holy people to himself, as he hath sworn to thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
Ubangiji zai kafa ku kamar mutanensa masu tsarki, kamar yadda ya yi alkawari da rantsuwa, in kun kiyaye umarnan Ubangiji Allahnku, kuka kuma yi tafiya a hanyoyinsa.
10 And all the people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
Sa’an nan dukan mutane a duniya za su ga cewa ana kiranku da sunan Ubangiji, za su kuwa ji tsoronku.
11 And the LORD shall make thee to abound in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD swore to thy fathers to give thee.
Ubangiji zai azurta ku sosai, a’ya’yan cikinku, a’ya’yan dabbobinku da kuma a hatsin gonarku, a cikin ƙasar da ya rantse wa kakanninku zai ba ku.
12 The LORD shall open to thee his good treasure, the heaven to give rain to thy land in its season, and to bless all the work of thy hand: and thou shalt lend to many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
Ubangiji zai buɗe sammai, wurin ajiyarsa mai yalwa, don yă aika da ruwan sama a gonarku a lokacinsa, yă kuma albarkaci dukan aikin hannuwanku. Za ku ba wa al’ummai masu yawa rance, amma ba za ku karɓa bashi daga wurin wani ba.
13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if thou shalt hearken to the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]:
Ubangiji zai sa ku zama kai, ba wutsiya ba. In kun mai da hankali ga umarnan Ubangiji Allahnku da nake ba ku a wannan rana, kuka kuma lura, kuka bi su, kullum za ku kasance a bisa, ba a ƙasa ba.
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, [to] the right hand or [to] the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
Kada ku kauce zuwa dama ko zuwa hagu daga umarnan da na ba ku a yau, har ku bi waɗansu alloli kuna yin musu sujada.
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Amma fa, in ba ku yi biyayya ga Ubangiji Allahnku ba, ba ku kuma lura kun bi dukan umarnansa da ƙa’idodin da nake ba ku a yau ba, dukan la’anan nan za su zo a bisanku, su kuma same ku.
16 Cursed [shalt] thou [be] in the city, and cursed [shalt] thou [be] in the field.
Za ku zama la’anannu a birni da kuma a ƙauye.
17 Cursed [shall be] thy basket and thy store.
Za a la’anta kwandonku da kwanon kwaɓan kullunku.
18 Cursed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Za a la’anta’ya’yan cikinku, haka ma hatsin gonarku, da’ya’yan shanunku da’yan tumakinku.
19 Cursed [shalt] thou [be] when thou comest in, and cursed [shalt] thou [be] when thou goest out.
Za a la’anta ku sa’ad da kuka shiga da sa’ad da kuka fita.
20 The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou undertakest to perform, until thou shalt be destroyed, and until thou shalt perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings by which thou hast forsaken me.
Ubangiji zai aiko muku da la’ana, da ruɗewa, da damuwa cikin dukan abin da za ku yi, har ya hallaka ku, ku lalace da sauri saboda mugayen ayyukanku, domin kuma kuka rabu da ni.
21 The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave to thee, until he shall have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.
Ubangiji zai aiko muku da annoba wadda za tă manne muku, tă cinye ku cikin ƙasar da za ku shiga, ku mallake ta.
22 The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew: and they shall pursue thee until thou dost perish.
Ubangiji zai buga ku da cuta mai lalacewa, da zazzaɓi, da ƙuna, da zafin rana, da fāri, da burtuntuna, da fumfuna, waɗanda za su azabtar da ku sai kun hallaka.
23 And thy heaven that [is] over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that [is] under thee [shall be] iron.
Girgijen da yake bisanku zai zama tagulla, ƙasar da take ƙarƙashinku za tă zama ƙarfe.
24 The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou art destroyed.
Ubangiji zai juye ruwan saman ƙasarku yă zama ƙura da gari; zai sauko daga gizagizai har sai kun hallaka.
25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thy enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them; and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
Ubangiji zai sa a rinjaye ku a gaban abokan gābanku. Ta hanya guda za ku auka musu, amma ta hanyoyi bakwai za ku gudu daga gabansu. Za ku zama abin ƙi ga dukan mulkokin duniya.
26 And thy carcass shall be food to all fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the earth, and no man shall drive [them] away.
Gawawwakinku za su zama abincin dukan tsuntsayen sarari da namun duniya, ba kuwa wanda zai kore su.
27 The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, of which thou canst not be healed.
Ubangiji zai buge ku da maruran Masar, da ƙazuwa, da kuma ƙaiƙayi waɗanda ba za su warke ba
28 The LORD shall smite thee with the madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
Ubangiji zai buge ku da hauka, makanta, da rikicewar hankali.
29 And thou shalt grope at noon-day, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save [thee].
Da tsakar rana za ku riƙa lallubawa kamar makaho. Za ku zama marasa nasara a cikin kome da kuka yi; kowace rana za a zalunce ku, a kuma yi muku ƙwace, ba tare da wani ya cece ku ba.
30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build a house, and thou shalt not dwell in it: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes of it.
Za ku yi tashin yarinya, amma wani ne zai ɗauke ta yă kwana da ita. Za ku gina gida amma wani ne zai zauna a ciki. Za ku shuka inabi, amma ba za ku ma fara jin daɗin’ya’yansa ba.
31 Thy ox [shall be] slain before thy eyes, and thou shalt not eat of it: thy ass [shall be] violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep [shall be] given to thy enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue [them].
Za a yanka sanku a idanunku, amma ba za ko ci wani abu a cikinsa ba. Za a ƙwace jakinku ƙiri-ƙiri, amma ba za a mayar muku da shi ba. Za a ba da tumakinku ga abokan gābanku, kuma ba kowa da zai cece su.
32 Thy sons and thy daughters [shall be] given to another people, and thy eyes shall look, and fail [with longing] for them all the day long: and [there shall be] no might in thy hand.
Za a ba da’ya’yanku maza da mata ga wata al’umma, za ku kuma yi ta zuba idanunku kuna neman su kullayaumi, amma a banza, domin ba ku da ikon yin kome.
33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labors, shall be eaten by a nation which thou knowest not: and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed always:
Mutanen da ba ku sani ba za su ci kayan gonarku da amfanin wahalarku, za a yi ta cucinku, ana kuma danne ku kullum.
34 So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thy eyes which thou shalt see.
Abubuwan da za ku gani za su sa ku yi hauka.
35 The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot to the top of thy head.
Ubangiji zai buge gwiwoyinku da ƙafafunku da marurai masu zafi da ba za a iya warkar da su ba, za su yaɗu daga tafin ƙafafu zuwa bisa kanku.
36 The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, to a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.
Ubangiji zai kore ku, ku da sarkin da kuka naɗa a bisanku zuwa al’ummar da ku, ko kakanninku ba su sani ba. A can za ku yi wa waɗansu alloli sujada, allolin itace da na dutse.
37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a by-word, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.
Za ku zama abin ƙi, abin dariya, da kuma abin habaici ga dukan al’ummai inda Ubangiji zai kore ku zuwa.
38 Thou shalt carry much seed into the field, and shalt gather [but] little: for the locust shall consume it.
Za ku shuka iri da yawa a gona, amma za ku girbe kaɗan, domin fāra za su cinye su.
39 Thou shalt plant vineyards and dress [them], but shalt neither drink [of] the wine, nor gather [the grapes]: for the worm shall eat them.
Za ku shuka inabi ku kuma yi musu banƙasa, amma ba za ku sha ruwan inabin ba, domin tsutsotsi za su cinye su.
40 Thou shalt have olive-trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint [thyself] with the oil: for thy olive shall cast [its fruit].
Za ku kasance da itatuwan zaitun ko’ina a ƙasarku, amma ba za ku yi amfani da mansu ba, domin’ya’yan zaitun za su kakkaɓe.
41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them: for they shall go into captivity.
Za ku haifi’ya’ya maza da mata, amma za su zama naku ba, domin za a kai su bauta.
42 All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.
Tarin fāra za su mamaye dukan itatuwanku da kuma hatsin gonarku.
43 The stranger that [is] within thee shall rise above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.
Baƙin da suke tare da ku, za su yi ta ƙaruwa, ku kuwa za ku yi ta komawa baya-baya.
44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.
Za su ba ku bashi, amma ba za ku ba su bashi ba. Za su zama kai, ku kuwa za ku zama wutsiya.
45 Moreover, all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou art destroyed: because thou hearkenedst not to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
Dukan waɗannan la’anoni za su sauko a kanku. Za su bi ku, su same ku, sai an hallaka ku, domin ba ku yi biyayya ga Ubangiji Allahnku, kuka kuma kiyaye umarnai da ƙa’idodin da ya ba ku ba.
46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.
Za su zama alamu da al’ajabi gare ku da kuma zuriyarku har abada.
47 Because thou didst not serve the LORD thy God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all [things]:
Gama ba ku bauta wa Ubangiji Allahnku da farin ciki da kuma murna a lokacin wadata ba,
48 Therefore shalt thou serve thy enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all [things]: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he hath destroyed thee.
saboda haka a cikin yunwa da ƙishirwa, cikin tsiraici da mugun talauci, za ku bauta wa abokan gāban da Ubangiji ya aiko muku. Zai sa karkiyar ƙarfe a wuyanku har sai ya hallaka ku ƙaf.
49 The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, [as swift] as the eagle flieth, a nation whose language thou shalt not understand:
Ubangiji zai kawo al’umma daga nesa, daga iyakar duniya, ta sauko a kanku kamar gaggafa, al’ummar da ba ku san yarenta ba,
50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young:
al’umma mai zafin hali wadda ba ta ba wa tsofaffi girma, kuma ba ta tausayin yara.
51 And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou art destroyed: which [also] shall not leave thee [either] corn, wine, or oil, [or] the increase of thy cattle, or flocks of thy sheep, until he hath destroyed thee.
Za su cinye’ya’yan dabbobinku da hatsin gonarku sai an hallaka ku. Ba za su rage ko ƙwayar hatsi, ko sabon ruwan inabi, ko mai ba, ba kuwa za a bar’yan tumakinku ba, sai an lalatar da ku.
52 And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fortified walls come down, in which thou didst trust, throughout all thy land; and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
Za su kuwa kewaye ku a dukan garuruwanku, har sai katangarku masu tsayi wadda kuke dogara gare su, sun fāɗi ko’ina a ƙasar da Ubangiji Allahnku yake ba ku.
53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thy own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege and in the straitness with which thy enemies shall distress thee:
Saboda wahalar da abokan gābanku za su gasa muku a lokacin kwanto, za ku ci’ya’yan cikinku, naman’ya’yanku maza da mata waɗanda Ubangiji Allahnku ya ba ku.
54 [So that] the man [that is] tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil towards his brother, and towards the wife of his bosom, and towards the remnant of his children whom he shall leave:
Kai, har da mutumin da ya fi hankali da kuma kirki a cikinku, ba zai ji tausayi ɗan’uwansa, ko matar da yake ƙauna, ko’ya’yansa da suka ragu ba,
55 So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege and in the straitness with which thy enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.
ba kuwa zai ba waninsu wani naman’ya’yansa da yake ci ba. Gama dukan abin da ya rage masa ke nan saboda wahalar da abokan gābanku za su gasa muku a lokacin da ake kwanton wa dukan biranenku.
56 The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil towards the husband of her bosom, and towards her son, and towards her daughter,
Mace mafi hankali da kuma kirki a cikinku, kai, mafi hankali da kirki da ba ta ma karambanin taɓa ƙasa da tafin ƙafarta, za tă hana wa mijinta da take ƙauna, da kuma ɗanta, ko’yarta abinci.
57 And towards her young one, her own offspring, and towards her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all [things] secretly in the siege and straitness with which thy enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.
A ɓoye za tă ci mahaifar da take biyo bayan ta haihu, da’ya’yan da za tă haifa, saboda ba ta da wani abinci lokacin da abokan gābanku za su kewaye garuruwanku da yaƙi mai tsanani.
58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
In ba ku lura kuka bi dukan kalmomi wannan doka, waɗanda an rubuta a wannan littafi ba, ba ku kuma girmama wannan suna mai ɗaukaka da kuma mai banrazana na Ubangiji Allahnku ba,
59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, [even] great plagues, and of long continuance, and severe sicknesses, and of long continuance.
Ubangiji zai aika da annoba masu zafi a kanku da zuriyarku, masifu masu zafi waɗanda za su daɗe, da mugayen cututtuka waɗanda ba sa kawuwa.
60 Moreover, he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, of which thou wast afraid; and they shall cleave to thee.
Zai kawo muku dukan cututtukan Masar da kuke tsoro, za su kuwa manne muku.
61 Also every sickness, and every plague which [is] not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou art destroyed.
Ubangiji kuma zai kawo muku kowane irin ciwo da masifar da ba a rubuta a cikin wannan Littafin Doka ba, har sai an hallaka ku.
62 And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldst not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.
Ku da kuke da yawa kamar taurari a sarari za ku ragu ku zama kaɗan, domin ba ku yi biyayya ga Ubangiji Allahnku ba.
63 And it shall come to pass, [that] as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to naught; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
Kamar yadda ya gamshi Ubangiji ya sa kuka yi arziki kuka kuma ƙaru, haka zai gamshe shi yă lalatar yă kuma hallaka ku. Za a tumɓuke ku daga ƙasar da kuke shiga ku mallaka.
64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people from the one end of the earth even to the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, [even] wood and stone.
Sa’an nan Ubangiji zai watsar da ku cikin dukan al’ummai, daga wannan bangon duniya zuwa wancan. A can za ku bauta waɗansu alloli, allolin itace da na dutse, waɗanda ko ku, ko kakanninku, ba ku sani ba.
65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
A cikin waɗancan al’ummai ba za ku sami hutu ba, ba wurin hutu wa tafin ƙafanku. A can Ubangiji zai sa fargaba a zuciyarku, yă sa idanunku su lalace, ranku zai yi suwu.
66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have no assurance of thy life:
Za ku yi zama cikin damuwa kullum, cike da tsoro, dare da rana, ba tabbacin abin da zai faru da ranku.
67 In the morning thou shalt say, O that it were evening, and at evening thou shalt say, O that it were morning! for the fear of thy heart with which thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thy eyes which thou shalt see.
Da safe za ku ce, “Da ma yamma ne!” Da yamma kuma ku ce, “Da ma safiya ce!” Saboda tsoron da ya cika zukatanku da kuma abubuwan da idanunku za su gani.
68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I have said to thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold to your enemies for bond-men and bond-women, and no man shall buy [you].
Ubangiji zai komar da ku cikin jiragen ruwa zuwa Masar, tafiyar da na ce kada ku ƙara yi. A can za ku ba da kanku don sayarwa ga abokan gābanku a matsayin bayi maza da mata, amma ba wanda zai saye ku.
