Deuteronomy 27
1 And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.
൧മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരോടൊപ്പം ജനത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചത്: “ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് നിങ്ങളോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന സകല കല്പനകളും പ്രമാണിക്കുവിൻ.
2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan to the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:
൨നീ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്ന്, നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്ക് തരുന്ന ദേശത്ത് എത്തുന്ന ദിവസം, നീ വലിയ കല്ലുകൾ നാട്ടി അവയുടെമേൽ കുമ്മായം തേക്കണം:
3 And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou hast passed over, that thou mayest enter in to the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
൩നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്ക് വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിനക്ക് തരുന്ന പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്ത് കടന്നുചെന്നശേഷം നീ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെല്ലാം ആ കല്ലുകളിൽ എഴുതണം.
4 Therefore it shall be when ye have gone over Jordan, [that] ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.
൪ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്ന് ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് നിങ്ങളോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന പ്രകാരം ഈ കല്ലുകൾ ഏബാൽപർവ്വത്തിൽ നാട്ടുകയും അവയുടെമേൽ കുമ്മായം തേക്കുകയും വേണം.
5 And there shalt thou build an altar to the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up [any] iron [tool] upon them.
൫അവിടെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് കല്ലുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു യാഗപീഠം പണിയണം; അതിന്മേൽ ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ആയുധം പ്രയോഗിക്കരുത്.
6 Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer on it burnt-offerings to the LORD thy God.
൬ചെത്താത്ത കല്ലുകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠം പണിയണം; അതിന്മേൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും അർപ്പിക്കണം.
7 And thou shalt offer peace-offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.
൭അവിടെവെച്ച് തിന്നുകയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കുകയും വേണം;
8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law, very plainly.
൮ആ കല്ലുകളിൽ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നല്ല തെളിവായി എഴുതണം.
9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spoke to all Israel, saying, Take heed and hearken, O Israel, this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
൯മോശെയും ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേലിനോടും: “യിസ്രായേലേ, മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു കേൾക്കുക; ഇന്ന് നീ, നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ജനമായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day.
൧൦ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്ക് അനുസരിച്ച്, ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് നിന്നോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ കല്പനകളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും ആചരിക്കണം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
11 And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
൧൧അന്ന് മോശെ ജനത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:
12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye have come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
൧൨“നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ നദി കടന്നശേഷം ജനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുവാൻ ഗെരിസീംപർവ്വതത്തിൽ നില്ക്കേണ്ടവർ: ശിമെയോൻ, ലേവി, യെഹൂദാ, യിസ്സാഖാർ, യോസേഫ്, ബെന്യാമീൻ.
13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
൧൩ശപിക്കുവാൻ ഏബാൽപർവ്വതത്തിൽ നില്ക്കേണ്ടവർ: രൂബേൻ, ഗാദ്, ആശേർ, സെബൂലൂൻ, ദാൻ, നഫ്താലി.
14 And the Levites shall speak, and say to all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
൧൪അപ്പോൾ ലേവ്യർ എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേല്യരോടും ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചുപറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:
15 Cursed [be] the man that maketh [any] graven or molten image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the artificer, and putteth [it] in [a] secret [place]: and all the people shall answer, and say Amen.
൧൫‘ശില്പിയുടെ കൈപ്പണിയായി യഹോവയ്ക്ക് അറപ്പായ വല്ല വിഗ്രഹവും, കൊത്തിയോ വാർത്തോ ഉണ്ടാക്കി, രഹസ്യമായി പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം ആമേൻ എന്ന് ഉത്തരം പറയണം.
16 Cursed [be] he that setteth light by his father or his mother: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൧൬അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.
17 Cursed [be] he that removeth his neighbor's landmark: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൧൭കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ അതിർ നീക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
18 Cursed [be] he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൧൮കുരുടനെ വഴി തെറ്റിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
19 Cursed [be] he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൧൯പരദേശിയുടെയും അനാഥന്റെയും വിധവയുടെയും ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
20 Cursed [be] he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൨൦അപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ അപ്പന്റെ വസ്ത്രം നീക്കിയതുകൊണ്ട് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
21 Cursed [be] he that lieth with any manner of beast: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൨൧വല്ല മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടി ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
22 Cursed [be] he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൨൨അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ സഹോദരിയോടുകൂടി ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
23 Cursed [be] he that lieth with his mother-in-law: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൨൩അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടുകൂടി ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
24 Cursed [be] he that smiteth his neighbor secretly: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൨൪കൂട്ടുകാരനെ രഹസ്യമായി കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
25 Cursed [be] he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൨൫കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന് പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
26 Cursed [be] he that confirmeth not [all] the words of this law to do them: and all the people shall say, Amen.
൨൬ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലെ വചനങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണമാക്കി, അവ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കാത്തവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയണം.
