Daniel 12
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
১“সেই দিন মহান স্বর্গদূত মীখায়েল, যিনি তোমার লোকদের রক্ষা করেন, তিনি উঠে দাঁড়াবেন। সেই দিন এক মহাসঙ্কটের দিন উপস্থিত হবে যা জাতির আরম্ভ থেকে সেই দিন পর্যন্ত কখনও হয়নি। সেই দিন তোমার লোকেরা উদ্ধার পাবে, প্রত্যেকে যাদের নাম বইয়ের মধ্যে লেখা থাকবে।
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt.
২মাটিতে যারা ঘুমিয়ে আছে তাদের মধ্য অনেকে জেগে উঠবে, অনেকে উঠবে অনন্ত জীবনের জন্য এবং অনেকে উঠবে লজ্জার ও অনন্তকালীন দণ্ডের জন্য।
3 And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
৩যারা জ্ঞানী তারা আকাশের আলোর মত এবং যারা অনেককে ধার্মিকতার দিকে নিয়ে যায় তারা উজ্জ্বল তারার মত অনন্তকাল জ্বল জ্বল করবে।
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
৪কিন্তু তুমি, দানিয়েল, শেষ দিন না আসা পর্যন্ত এই বাক্যগুলো গোপন করে রাখো এবং বইটা মুদ্রাঙ্কিত করে রাখো। সেই দিনের অনেকে এখানে ওখানে যাবে এবং জ্ঞানের বৃদ্ধি হবে।”
5 Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
৫তখন আমি, দানিয়েল, তাকালাম এবং সেখানে অন্য দুই জন ব্যক্তি দাঁড়িয়ে ছিলেন। তাঁদের একজন নদীর এপারে এবং অন্যজন নদীর ওপারে দাঁড়িয়ে ছিলেন।
6 And [one] said to the man clothed in linen, who [was] upon the waters of the river, How long [shall it be to] the end of these wonders?
৬তাঁদের একজন মসীনার কাপড় পরা যে ব্যক্তি নদীর জলের উপরে ছিলেন তাঁকে বললেন, “এই সব আশ্চর্য্য বিষয় শেষ হতে আর কত দিন লাগবে?”
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, who [was] upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him that liveth for ever, that [it shall be] for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these [things] shall be finished.
৭তখন আমি শুনলাম, মসীনার কাপড় পরা সেই ব্যক্তি যে নদীর জলের উপরে দাঁড়িয়ে ছিল আমি তাঁকে তাঁর ডান হাত ও বাঁ হাত স্বর্গের দিকে তুলে যিনি অনন্তকাল স্থায়ী তাঁর নামে শপথ করে বলতে শুনলাম, “এক কাল, দুই কাল ও অর্ধেক কাল, অর্থাৎ সাড়ে তিন বছর দিন লাগবে। যখন পবিত্র লোকদের শক্তি একেবারে ধ্বংস হবে, তখন এই সমস্ত বিষয় পূর্ণ হবে।”
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what [shall be] the end of these [things]?
৮আমি শুনলাম, কিন্তু আমি বুঝতে পারলাম না। তাই আমি জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “আমার প্রভু, এই সবের শেষ ফল কি হবে?”
9 And he said, Go thy way Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
৯তিনি বললেন, “দানিয়েল, তুমি চলে যাও, কারণ শেষ দিন না আসা পর্যন্ত এই সব কথা বন্ধ করে মুদ্রাঙ্কিত করে রাখা হয়েছে।
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
১০অনেকে পবিত্র, পরিষ্কার ও বিশুদ্ধ হবে, কিন্তু অধার্মিকেরা তাদের অধার্মিকতা অনুযায়ী কাজ করবে। অধার্মিকদের কেউই বুঝবে না, কিন্তু যারা জ্ঞানী তাঁরা বুঝবে।
11 And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
১১যে দিন থেকে নিয়মিত নৈবেদ্য বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হবে এবং ধ্বংসকারী ঘৃণার জিনিস স্থাপন করা হবে সেই দিন থেকে এক হাজার দুইশো নব্বই দিন হবে।
12 Blessed [is] he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
১২ধন্য সেই ব্যক্তি যে এক হাজার তিনশো পঁয়ত্রিশ দিনের র শেষ পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষা করে থাকে।
13 But go thou thy way till the end: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
১৩কিন্তু তুমি শেষের অপেক্ষাতে এখন চলে যাও, তুমি বিশ্রাম পাবে। যুগের শেষে, যে জায়গা তোমার জন্য মনোনীত করা হয়েছে সেখানে তুমি আবার মৃত্যু থেকে জীবিত হবে।”
