Acts 27
1 And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners to [one] named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band.
जब यो निश्चित भय गयो कि हम जहाज सी इटली जाये, त उन्न पौलुस अऊर कुछ दूसरों बन्दियों ख भी यूलियुस नाम को औगुस्तुस की पलटन को एक सूबेदार को हाथ सौंप दियो।
2 And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we lanched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia, [one] Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.
अद्रमुत्तियुम को एक जहाज पर जो आसिया को किनार की जागा म जान पर होतो, चढ़ क हम न ओख खोल दियो, अऊर अरिस्तर्खुस नाम को थिस्सलुनीके को एक मकिदुनिया वासी हमरो संग होतो।
3 And the next [day] we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously treated Paul, and gave [him] liberty to go to his friends to refresh himself.
दूसरों दिन हम न सैदा म लंगर डाल्यो, अऊर यूलियुस न पौलुस पर कृपा कर क् ओख संगी को इत जान दियो कि ओको आदर करयो जाये।
4 And when we had lanched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.
उत सी जहाज खोल क हवा विरुद्ध होन को वजह हम साइप्रस की आड़ म होय क चले;
5 And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Mira, [a city] of Lycia.
अऊर किलिकिया अऊर पंफूलिया को जवर को समुन्दर म होय क लूसिया को मूरा म उतरयो।
6 And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.
उत सूबेदार ख सिकन्दरियां को एक जहाज इटली जातो हुयो मिल्यो, अऊर ओन हम्ख ओको पर चढ़ाय दियो।
7 And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce had come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone:
जब हम बहुत दिनो तक धीरू–धीरू चल क कठिनायी सी कनिदुस को आगु पहुंच्यो, त येकोलायी कि हवा हम्ख आगु बढ़न नहीं देत होती, हम सलमोन को आगु सी होय क क्रेते की आड़ म चल्यो;
8 And hardly passing it, came to a place which is called, The fair havens; nigh to which was the city [of] Lasea.
अऊर ओको किनार–किनार कठिनायी सी चल क शुभलंगरबारी नाम की एक जागा पहुंच्यो, जित सी लसया नगर जवर होतो।
9 Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished [them].
जब बहुत दिन बीत गयो अऊर जलयात्रा म जोखिम येकोलायी होत होती कि उपवास को दिन अब बीत गयो होतो। येकोलायी पौलुस न उन्ख यो कह्य क समझायो,
10 And said to them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
“हे सज्जनो, मोख असो लगय हय कि यो यात्रा म संकट अऊर बहुत हानि, नहीं केवल माल अऊर जहाज की बल्की हमरो जीव की भी होन वाली हय।”
11 Nevertheless, the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship more than the things which were spoken by Paul.
पर सूबेदार न पौलुस की बातों सी कप्तान अऊर जहाज को मालिक की बातों ख बढ़ क मान्यो।
12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the greater part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, [and there] to winter; [which is] a haven of Crete, and lieth towards the south-west and north-west.
ऊ बन्दरगाह ठन्डी काटन लायी अच्छो नहीं होतो, येकोलायी बहुतों को बिचार भयो कि उत सी जहाज खोल क यदि कोयी रीति सी होय सकय त फीनिक्स पहुंच क ठन्डी काटे। यो त क्रेते को एक बन्दरगाह हय जो दक्षिन–पश्चिम अऊर उत्तर–पश्चिम को तरफ खुलय हय।
13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained [their] purpose, loosing [thence], they sailed close by Crete.
जब कुछ–कुछ दक्षिन हवा बहन लगी, त यो समझ क कि हमरो कहन की बात पूरो होय गयो, लंगर उठायो अऊर किनार धर क क्रेते को जवर सी जान लग्यो।
14 But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.
पर थोड़ी देर म जमीन को तरफ सी एक बड़ो तूफान उठ्यो, जो “यूरकुलीन” कहलावय हय।
15 And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let [her] drive.
जब तूफान जहाज पर लग्यो त ऊ ओको आगु रूक नहीं सक्यो, येकोलायी हम न ओख बहन दियो अऊर योच तरह बहतो हुयो चली गयो।
16 And running under a certain isle which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
तब कौदा नाम को एक छोटो सो द्वीप को आड़ म बहत-बहत हम कठिनायी सी डोंगा ख वश म कर सके।
17 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, struck sail, and so were driven.
तब मल्लाहों न ओख उठाय क हर एक उपाय कर क् जहाज ख खल्लो सी बान्ध्यो, अऊर सुरतिस को चोरबालू पर रुक जान को डर सी पाल अऊर सामान उतार क बहतो हुयो चली गयो।
18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next [day] they lightened the ship;
जब हम न तूफान सी बहुत हिचकोले अऊर धक्का खायो, त दूसरों दिन हि जहाज को सामान फेकन लग्यो;
19 And the third [day] we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
अऊर तीसरो दिन उन्न अपनो हाथों सी जहाज को साज–सामान भी फेक दियो।
20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on [us], all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
जब बहुत दिनो तक नहीं सूरज, नहीं तारा दिखायी दियो अऊर बड़ो तूफान चलती रह्यो, त आखरी म हमरो बचन की पूरी आशा जाती रही।
21 But after long abstinence, Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened to me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
जब हि बहुत दिन तक भूखो रह्य गयो, त पौलुस न उन्को बीच म खड़ो होय क कह्यो, “हे लोगों, असो होना होतो कि तुम मोरी बात मान क क्रेते सी नहीं जहाज खोलतो अऊर नहीं विपत्ति आयती अऊर नहीं हानि उठातो।
22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of life among you, but of the ship.
पर अब मय तुम्ख समझाऊ हय कि हिम्मत रखो, कहालीकि तुम म सी कोयी को जीव की हानि नहीं होयेंन, पर केवल जहाज की।
23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
कहालीकि परमेश्वर जेको मय आय, अऊर जेकी सेवा करू हय, ओको स्वर्गदूत न अज रात मोरो जवर आय क कह्यो,
24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Cesar: and lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
‘हे पौलुस, मत डर! तोख कैसर को आगु खड़ो होनो जरूरी हय। देख, परमेश्वर न सब ख जो तोरो संग यात्रा करय हंय, तोख दियो हय।’
25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it will be even as it was told to me.
येकोलायी, हे सज्जनो, हिम्मत रखो; कहालीकि मय परमेश्वर को विश्वास करू हय, कि जसो मोरो सी कह्यो गयो हय, वसोच होयेंन।
26 But we must be cast upon a certain isle.
पर हम्ख कोयी द्वीप पर जाय क रुकनो पड़ेंन।”
27 When the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen suspected that they drew near to some country:
जब चौदावी रात आयी, अऊर हम अद्रिया समुन्दर म भटकत फिर रह्यो होतो, त अरधी रात को जवर मल्लाहों न अनुमान सी जान्यो कि हम कोयी देश को जवर पहुंच रह्यो हंय।
28 And sounded, and found [it] twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found [it] fifteen fathoms.
पानी को अंदाज लेन पर उन्न चालीस मीटर गहरो पायो, अऊर थोड़ो आगु बढ़ क तब गहरायी को अंदाज लियो त तीस मीटर पायो।
29 Then fearing lest we should fall upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
तब गोटाड़ी जागा सी टकरावन को डर सी उन्न जहाज को पीछू को भाग सी चार लंगर डाल्यो, अऊर भुन्सारो होन की प्रार्थना करतो रह्यो।
30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under color as though they would cast anchors out of the foreship,
पर जब मल्लाह जहाज पर सी भगनो चाहत होतो, अऊर गर सी लंगर डालन को बहाना सी डोंगा समुन्दर म उतार दियो;
31 Paul said to the centurion, and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
त पौलुस न सूबेदार अऊर सैनिकों सी कह्यो, “यदि यो जहाज पर नहीं रहेंन, त तुम भी नहीं बच सकय।”
32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
तब सैनिकों न रस्सा काट क डोंगा गिराय दियो।
33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought [them] all to take food, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried, and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
जब भुन्सारो होन पर होतो, तब पौलुस न यो कह्य क्, सब ख जेवन करन लायी समझायो, “अज चौदा दिन भयो कि तुम आस देखत–देखत भूखो रह्यो, अऊर कुछ जेवन नहीं करयो।
34 Wherefore I pray you to take [some] food; for this is for your health: for there shall not a hair fall from the head of any of you.
येकोलायी तुम्ख समझाऊ हय कि कुछ खाय लेवो, जेकोसी तुम्हरो बचाव हो; कहालीकि तुम म सी कोयी को मुंड को एक बाल भी नहीं गिरेंन।”
35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all; and when he had broken [it], he began to eat.
यो कह्य क ओन रोटी ले क सब को आगु परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद करयो अऊर तोड़ क खान लग्यो।
36 Then they were all of good cheer, and they also took food.
तब हि सब भी हिम्मत बान्ध क जेवन करन लग्यो।
37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred and seventy six souls.
हम सब मिल क जहाज पर दोय सौ छिहत्तर लोग होतो।
38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast the wheat into the sea.
जब हि जेवन कर क् सन्तुष्ट भयो, त गहूं ख समुन्दर म फेक क जहाज हल्को करन लग्यो।
39 And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into which they purposed, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
जब दिन निकल्यो त उन्न ऊ देश ख नहीं पहिचान्यो, पर एक खाड़ी देखी जेको किनार चौरस होतो, अऊर बिचार करयो कि यदि होय सकय त येको पर जहाज ख टिकाये।
40 And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed [themselves] to the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoisted the mainsail to the wind, and made towards the shore.
तब उन्न लंगरों ख खोल क समुन्दर म छोड़ दियो अऊर उच समय पतवारो को बन्धन खोल दियो, अऊर हवा को आगु सामने की पाल चढ़ाय क किनार को तरफ चल्यो।
41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained immovable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
पर दोय समुन्दर को संगम की जागा पड़ क उन्न जहाज ख टिकायो, अऊर गर त धक्का खाय क गड़ गयी अऊर टल नहीं सकी; पर पिछली लहर को बल सी टूटन लगी।
42 And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.
तब सैनिकों को यो बिचार भयो कि बन्दियों ख मार डाले, असो नहीं होय कि कोयी तैर क् निकल भगे।
43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from [their] purpose, and commanded that they who could swim, should cast [themselves] first [into the sea], and get to land:
पर सूबेदार न पौलुस ख बचान की इच्छा सी उन्ख यो बिचार सी रोक्यो अऊर यो कह्यो, कि जो तैर सकय हंय, पहिले कूद क किनार पर निकल जाये;
44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on [broken pieces] of the ship: And so it came to pass, that they all escaped safe to land.
अऊर बाकी कोयी पटरो पर, अऊर कोयी जहाज की दूसरी चिज को सहारे निकल जाये। यो रीति सी सब कोयी किनार पर बच निकल्यो।
