Acts 27
1 And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners to [one] named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band.

2 And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we lanched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia, [one] Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.
Tomataki na masuwa oyo ewutaki na engumba Adramite mpo na kokende na mabongo ya pembeni-pembeni ya mokili ya Azia, mpe tokendeki; Arisitarke, moto ya Masedwane ya Tesalonika, azalaki na biso elongo.
3 And the next [day] we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously treated Paul, and gave [him] liberty to go to his friends to refresh himself.
Mokolo oyo elandaki, tosemaki na engumba Sidoni. Lokola Juliusi atalisaki bolingo monene epai ya Polo, apesaki ye nzela ya kokende kotala balingami na ye mpo ete akoka kozwa masungi epai na bango.
4 And when we had lanched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.
Sima na biso kolongwa wana, tozongelaki mobembo na biso mpe tozalaki konana pembeni-pembeni ya esanga ya Shipre, mpo na kokima mipepe oyo ezalaki kobeta biso makasi mpe kopekisa biso kokende liboso.
5 And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Mira, [a city] of Lycia.
Sima na biso kokatisa ebale monene oyo eleka pembeni-pembeni ya Silisi mpe ya Pafili, tosemaki na Mira, kati na mokili ya Lisi.
6 And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.
Kuna, mokonzi ya basoda nkama moko amonaki masuwa moko ya engumba Alekizandri, oyo ezalaki kokende na Itali, mpe akotisaki biso kati na yango.
7 And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce had come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone:
Masuwa yango ezalaki kotambola malembe penza; boye tosalaki mikolo mwa mingi ya mobembo, mpe tokomaki na Sinide na pasi penza. Lokola mpe mopepe ezalaki kopekisa biso kokende liboso, tolekaki Salimoni mpe tokendeki na ngambo ya sude ya esanga ya Kreti.
8 And hardly passing it, came to a place which is called, The fair havens; nigh to which was the city [of] Lasea.
Tozalaki konana pembeni-pembeni ya esanga yango na pasi penza kino tokomaki na esika oyo babengaka « Mabongo kitoko, » pene ya engumba Laseya.
9 Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished [them].
Lokola tolekisaki bongo tango mingi mpe masuwa ekomaki kotambola na matata, pamba te ezalaki sima na eleko ya kokila bilei, Polo akebisaki bango:
10 And said to them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
— Baninga, nazali komona lokola likama moko ya monene kosalema na mobembo na biso, mpe ekobebisa makasi masuwa elongo na biloko, kasi biso mpe tokoki kokufa.
11 Nevertheless, the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship more than the things which were spoken by Paul.
Kasi mokonzi ya basoda nkama moko alandaki toli ya kapitene ya masuwa mpe ya nkolo masuwa, na esika ete ayoka maloba ya Polo.
12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the greater part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, [and there] to winter; [which is] a haven of Crete, and lieth towards the south-west and north-west.
Lokola mpe libongo ezalaki esika ya malamu te mpo na kolekisa tango ya malili makasi, mingi kati na bato bazwaki mokano ete tolongwa wana mpe toluka kokoma na Fenikisi oyo ezali libongo ya Kreti, oyo etala na ngambo ya sude-weste mpe ya nor-weste, mpo na kolekisa kuna tango yango ya malili makasi.
13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained [their] purpose, loosing [thence], they sailed close by Crete.
Wana mwa mopepe moko ya sude ekomaki kopepa, bakanisaki ete posa na bango ezali kokokisama; boye batombolaki longo, mpe masuwa ekomaki kotambola pembeni-pembeni ya esanga ya Kreti.
14 But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.
Kasi sima na mwa tango, mopepe moko ya makasi penza, mopepe oyo babengaka « erakiloni, » ekomaki kopepa wuta na esanga;
15 And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let [her] drive.
ememaki masuwa, mpe masuwa elongaki te nguya ya mopepe. Boye tomitikaki bongo na mopepe, mpe ememaki biso.
16 And running under a certain isle which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
Lokola tolekaki na lombangu, na pembeni-pembeni ya esanga moke oyo babengaka Koda, tolongaki na pasi kokanga mwa bwato oyo ebikisaka bato na tango ya likama.
17 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, struck sail, and so were driven.
Sima na komatisa yango na masuwa, bazwaki basinga mpe bakangisaki yango. Lokola bazalaki kobanga kotutana na zelo ya ngambo ya Silite, babwakaki longo ya libaya likolo ya mayi, mpe mopepe ekobaki komema masuwa.
18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next [day] they lightened the ship;
Mokolo oyo elandaki, lokola mopepe ezalaki kaka koningisa masuwa makasi, babwakaki na ebale, biloko oyo ezalaki kati na masuwa.
19 And the third [day] we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
Na mokolo ya misato, na maboko na bango moko, babwakaki na ebale, biloko oyo etambolisaka masuwa.
20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on [us], all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
Lokola tosalaki mikolo ebele na kozanga komona lisusu moyi mpe minzoto te, mpe mopepe ezalaki kaka kobeta makasi, tobungisaki elikya ya kobika.
21 But after long abstinence, Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened to me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
Sima na bato kosala mikolo ebele oyo baliaki lisusu te, Polo atelemaki liboso na bango mpe alobaki: — Baninga na ngai, bosengelaki koyoka toli na ngai ete tolongwa na Kreti te. Soki boyokelaki ngai, likama oyo elingaki kokomela bino te mpe bolingaki te kobungisa biloko na bino.
22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of life among you, but of the ship.
Kasi sik’oyo, nazali kolendisa bino ete boyika mpiko, pamba te moko te kati na bino akokufa, kaka masuwa nde ekobeba.
23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
Na butu ya lelo, Anjelu na Nzambe na ngai, oyo nasalelaka, ayaki epai na ngai
24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Cesar: and lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
mpe alobaki: « Polo, kobanga te. Osengeli kosamba liboso ya Sezare. Mpo na yo, Nzambe abateli na bomoi bato nyonso oyo ozali kosala elongo na bango mobembo kati na masuwa. »
25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it will be even as it was told to me.
Baninga na ngai, boyika mpiko, pamba te nazali na kondima kati na Nzambe ete akosala ndenge kaka ayebisaki ngai.
26 But we must be cast upon a certain isle.
Kasi atako bongo, tosengeli kokangama kaka na esanga moko.
27 When the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen suspected that they drew near to some country:
Na butu ya zomi na minei, masuwa ezalaki kaka komemama epai na epai kati na ebale monene Adriatiki. Na kati-kati ya butu, basali ya masuwa bakanisaki ete tokomi pene ya mokili;
28 And sounded, and found [it] twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found [it] fifteen fathoms.
babwakaki singa mpo na komeka mozindo ya mayi mpe bamonaki ete mozindo ya mayi ezali na bametele pene tuku misato na sambo. Wana bapusanaki mwa liboso, bamekaki lisusu mpe bamonaki ete mozindo ya mayi ezali na bametele pene tuku mibale na mwambe.
29 Then fearing lest we should fall upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
Lokola bazalaki kobanga ete masuwa etutana na mabanga, babwakaki balongo minei na mayi wuta na sima ya masuwa, na posa makasi ya komona tongo kotana.
30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under color as though they would cast anchors out of the foreship,
Kasi, lokola basali ya masuwa balingaki kokima, babandaki kokitisa kati na ebale monene mwa bwato oyo ebikisaka bato na tango ya likama, mpe basalaki lokola nde balingi kokende kokangisa balongo na liboso ya masuwa.
31 Paul said to the centurion, and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
Polo alobaki na mokonzi ya basoda nkama moko mpe na basoda: — Tala, soki bato oyo batikali te kati na masuwa, bino mpe bokobika te.
32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
Boye, basoda bakataki basinga oyo esimbaki mwa bwato yango mpe batikaki yango kokweya na mayi.
33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought [them] all to take food, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried, and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
Wana bazalaki kozela tongo kotana, Polo alendisaki bato nyonso ete balia; alobaki: — Ekokisi lelo mikolo zomi na minei wuta bozali kozela, mpe bolie ata eloko moko te.
34 Wherefore I pray you to take [some] food; for this is for your health: for there shall not a hair fall from the head of any of you.
Nasengi na bino ete bolia sik’oyo. Bosengeli na yango mpo ete bozala na bomoi. Moko te kati na bino akobungisa ata suki moko ya moto na ye.
35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all; and when he had broken [it], he began to eat.
Sima na ye koloba bongo, akamataki lipa mpe azongisaki matondi epai na Nzambe liboso na bango nyonso; bongo akataki yango mpe abandaki kolia.
36 Then they were all of good cheer, and they also took food.
Bango nyonso balendisamaki mpe bakomaki kolia.
37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred and seventy six souls.
Kati na masuwa, tozalaki bato nkama mibale na tuku sambo na motoba.
38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast the wheat into the sea.
Sima na bango kolia mpe kotonda mingi, babwakaki ble na ebale mpo na kokitisa kilo ya masuwa.
39 And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into which they purposed, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
Tango tongo etanaki, bamonaki mokili te, kasi bamonaki kaka libongo moko ya zelo na suka, epai ebale ekota. Boye bazwaki mokano, soki bakolonga, ya kosemisa masuwa kuna.
40 And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed [themselves] to the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoisted the mainsail to the wind, and made towards the shore.
Babwakaki balongo na ebale; mpe kaka na tango yango, bafungolaki basinga ya yenda, batombolaki bakapo mpo ete mopepe emema masuwa na ngambo ya libongo ya zelo.
41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained immovable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
Kasi masuwa ekendeki kotutana na zelo ya ebale mpe ekangamaki. Wana eteni ya liboso ya masuwa ekangamaki na zelo mpe ezalaki lisusu koningana te, eteni ya sima ya masuwa epanzanaki na nguya ya bambonge.
42 And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.
Basoda bazwaki likanisi ya koboma bakangami mpo bazalaki kobanga ete bakatisa mayi mpe bakima.
43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from [their] purpose, and commanded that they who could swim, should cast [themselves] first [into the sea], and get to land:
Kasi lokola mokonzi ya basoda nkama moko azalaki na posa ya kobikisa Polo, apekisaki bango kokokisa likanisi na bango. Boye, atindaki bato oyo bayebaki kokata mayi ete bazala bato ya liboso ya kokweya na mayi mpe bakende na mokili.
44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on [broken pieces] of the ship: And so it came to pass, that they all escaped safe to land.
Bamosusu basengeli kolanda bango na kodiembela na mabaya to na biteni ya masuwa. Ezali ndenge wana nde bato nyonso bakomaki malamu na mokili.
