< Acts 2 >

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Pentekoste da no duruiɛ no, na asuafoɔ no nyinaa ahyia wɔ faako.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Amonom hɔ ara, ɛnne bi te sɛ ahum a ɛretu firi ɔsoro baeɛ bɛhyɛɛ efie a na wɔwɔ mu no ma.
3 And there appeared to them, cloven tongues as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Egya a ɛrederɛ a ɛte sɛ tɛkrɛma bɛsisii wɔn so mmaako mmaako.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Honhom Kronkron no hyɛɛ wɔn nyinaa ma, na wɔkaa kasa foforɔ, sɛdeɛ Honhom no maa wɔn ho kwan.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.
Saa ɛberɛ no na Yudafoɔ bi a wɔfɛre Onyame firi mmeaeɛ mmeaeɛ aba Yerusalem.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because every man heard them speak in his own language.
Wɔtee deɛ ɛrekɔ so no, wɔbɔɔ twi bɛhyiaeɛ, na ɛyɛɛ wɔn nwanwa ne ahodwirie, ɛfiri sɛ, obiara tee sɛ wɔreka ne kurom kasa.
7 And they were all amazed, and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these who speak Galileans?
Enti, wɔbisaa sɛ, “Na saa nnipa yi a wɔrekasa yi nyɛ Galileafoɔ anaa?
8 And how do we hear every man in our own language, wherein we were born?
Na adɛn enti na yɛte sɛ wɔreka Onyankopɔn anwanwadwuma ho asɛm wɔ yɛn a yɛyɛ

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
Wɔde ahodwirie bisaa sɛ, “Yei ase ne sɛn?”
13 Others mocking, said, These men are full of new wine.
Afoforɔ nso dii wɔn ho fɛ sɛ, “Saa nnipa yi aboboro nsã.”
14 But Peter standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said to them, Ye men of Judea, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known to you, and hearken to my words:
Petro ne asomafoɔ dubaako no sɔre gyinaa hɔ na ɔkasaa dendeenden kyerɛɛ nnipa no sɛ, “Me nuanom Yudafoɔ ne mo a mote Yerusalem nyinaa, montie asɛm a mereka yi.
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.
Saa nnipa yi mmoboroo nsã sɛdeɛ mosusu no, ɛfiri sɛ, adeɛ nnya nkyee a ɛsɛ sɛ obi nom nsã boro.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel,
Asɛm a asi yi na odiyifoɔ Yoɛl hyɛɛ ho nkɔm sɛ:
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
“‘Onyankopɔn kaa sɛ, nna a ɛdi akyire no, mɛhwie me Honhom no agu nnipa nyinaa so. Mo mmammarima ne mo mmammaa bɛhyɛ nkɔm, mo mmeranteɛ nso ahunu anisoadeɛ. Na mo mpanin nso asoso adaeɛ.
18 And on my servants, and on my hand-maidens I will, in those days, pour out of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Saa mmerɛ no mu no, mɛhwie me Honhom agu mʼasomfoɔ mpo so, mmarima ne mmaa, ama wɔahyɛ nkɔm.
19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke.
Mede mogya ne ogya ne wisie kumɔnn bɛyɛ anwanwadeɛ ne nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ wɔ ɔsoro ne asase so.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come.
Ansa na Awurade da kɛseɛ no bɛba no, owia bɛduru sum na ɔsrane nso ayɛ sɛ mogya.
21 And it shall come to pass, [that] whoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
Na obiara a ɔbɛbɔ Awurade din no bɛnya nkwa.’
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
“Israelfoɔ, montie! Yesu Nasareni no yɛ ɔbarima bi a ne dwuma kronkron a ɔbɛdiiɛ no daa adi wɔ tumi ne anwanwadeɛ ne nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ a Onyankopɔn nam ne so yɛeɛ a mo ankasa di ho adanseɛ no mu.
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Onyankopɔn ankasa firi ne pɛ ne ne nhunumu mu sii no gyinaeɛ sɛ wɔbɛyi Yesu ama mo, na mode no maa nnebɔneyɛfoɔ ma wɔbɔɔ no asɛnnua mu kumm no.
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held by it.
Nanso, Onyankopɔn nyanee no firii owuo mu maa ɔyii no firii owuyea mu, ɛfiri sɛ, owuo antumi anni ne so.”
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I saw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
Asɛm a Dawid ka faa ne ho ne sɛ, “Mehunu Awurade wɔ mʼani so daa nyinaa. Esiane sɛ ɔwɔ me nsa nifa enti, merenhinhim da.
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also, my flesh shall rest in hope:
Ɛno enti, me kra ani gye, na me de me tɛkrɛma di ahurisie. Me onipadua nso bɛhome asomdwoeɛ mu.
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption: (Hadēs g86)
Ɛfiri sɛ, worennya me awufoɔ mu. Na woremma wo Kronkronni no mporɔ. (Hadēs g86)
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou wilt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Woakyerɛ me nkwagyeɛ ɛkwan; na wobɛma mʼani agye wɔ wʼanim.
29 Men, brethren, let me freely speak to you concerning the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us to this day.
“Anuanom, ɛsɛ sɛ meda mʼadwene adi pefee wɔ yɛn panin Dawid ho. Ɔwuiɛ na wɔsiee no, na ne damena da so wɔ hɔ bɛsi ɛnnɛ.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn to him with an oath, that from the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
Na ɔyɛ odiyifoɔ a ɔnim bɔ bi a Onyankopɔn ahyɛ no no. Onyankopɔn hyɛɛ bɔ bi sɛ ɔbɛyɛ Dawid aseni ɔhene, sɛdeɛ Dawid yɛ ɔhene no ara pɛ.
31 He seeing this before, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
Dawid hunuu deɛ Onyankopɔn rebɛyɛ no, ɔkasa faa owusɔreɛ a ɛfa Agyenkwa no ho sɛ, ‘Wɔannya no awufoɔ mu. Ne honam nso amporɔ.’ (Hadēs g86)
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, of which we all are witnesses.
Onyankopɔn anyane saa Yesu yi afiri owuo mu, na yɛn nyinaa yɛ saa asɛm yi ho adansefoɔ.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Wɔahyɛ no animuonyam de no akɔtena Onyankopɔn nifa so ma ne nsa aka Honhom Kronkron no a Agya no hyɛɛ no ɛho bɔ no; ɛno na wahwie agu yɛn so a ɛho nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ na mohunu na mote yi.
34 For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he saith himself, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
Dawid ankasa de, wankɔ ɔsoro, na mmom, ɔkaa sɛ, “‘Awurade ka kyerɛɛ me wura sɛ, “Tena me nsa nifa so ha,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
kɔsi sɛ mede wʼatamfoɔ bɛyɛ wo nan ntiasoɔ.”’
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
“Ɛsɛ sɛ nnipa a wɔwɔ Israel nyinaa hunu sɛ, mo na mobɔɔ saa Yesu yi a Onyankopɔn ayɛ no Awurade ne Agyenkwa no asɛnnua mu.”
37 Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said to Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men, brethren, what shall we do?
Ɛberɛ a nnipa no tee saa asɛm yi no, ɛhaa wɔn yie. Enti, wɔbisaa Petro ne asomafoɔ a aka no sɛ, “Anuanom, ɛdeɛn na yɛnyɛ?”
38 Then Peter said to them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Petro ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Monnu mo ho na wɔmmɔ mo asu wɔ Yesu Kristo din mu sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, wɔde mo bɔne bɛkyɛ mo na moanya Onyankopɔn akyɛdeɛ a ɛyɛ Honhom Kronkron no.
39 For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Onyankopɔn hyɛɛ Honhom Kronkron yi ho bɔ maa mo ne mo mma ne wɔn a wɔtete akyirikyiri ne wɔn a Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn, bɛfrɛ wɔn aba ne nkyɛn no nyinaa.”
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this perverse generation.
Petro kaa nsɛm bebree kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Monnye mo ho mfiri asotwe a ɛreba saa nnebɔneyɛfoɔ yi so no mu.”
41 Then they that gladly received his word, were baptized: and the same day there were added [to them] about three thousand souls.
Wɔn mu dodoɔ no ara gyee asɛm no diiɛ maa wɔbɔɔ wɔn asu. Saa ɛda no, nnipa bɛyɛ mpensa na wɔbɛkaa agyidifoɔ no ho.
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Daa na wɔde wɔn adagyeɛ nyinaa sua asomafoɔ no nkyerɛkyerɛ. Wɔne wɔn nyaa ayɔnkofa, hyia didi bɔɔ mu ne wɔn bɔɔ mpaeɛ.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Asomafoɔ no yɛɛ anwanwadeɛ ahodoɔ bebree maa obiara a ɔhunuiɛ no ho dwirii no.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Agyidifoɔ no nyinaa kɔɔ so tenaa ase sɛ nnipa korɔ, na wɔkyekyɛɛ wɔn ahodeɛ mu momaa wɔn ho wɔn ho.
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need.
Wɔtɔn wɔn ahodeɛ kyekyɛɛ sika a wɔnya firii mu no maa wɔn ho wɔn ho sɛdeɛ ɛho hia obiara.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, ate their food with gladness and singleness of heart,
Daa na wɔbɔ mu hyia wɔ asɔredan mu de anigyeɛ ne akoma pa bɔ mu didi wɔ wɔn afie mu, kamfo Onyankopɔn, nya animuonyam wɔ nnipa anim.
47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Ɛda biara na Awurade de wɔn a ɔgye wɔn nkwa no bɛka wɔn ho.
