2 Samuel 1
1 Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;
၁ရှောလုကွယ်လွန်ပြီးနောက်ဒါဝိဒ်သည်အာ မလက်မြို့သားတို့ကိုနှိမ်နင်းရာမှပြန် လာ၍ ဇိကလတ်မြို့တွင်နှစ်ရက်မျှနေ၏။-
2 It came even to pass on the third day, that behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and [so] it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.
၂နောက်တစ်နေ့၌ ရှောလု၏တပ်စခန်းမှလူငယ် တစ်ယောက်သည် ဝမ်းနည်းကြေကွဲသည့်လက္ခဏာ ဖြင့် မိမိ၏အဝတ်များကိုဆုတ်ဖြဲကာ ဦးခေါင်း ကိုမြေမှုန့်ကြဲဖြန့်လျက်ရောက်လာ၏။ သူသည် ဒါဝိဒ်ထံသို့ချဉ်းကပ်ပြီးလျှင်မြေပေါ်မှာ ပျပ်ဝပ်ရှိခိုးလေ၏။-
3 And David said to him, From whence comest thou? And he said to him, Out of the camp of Israel have I escaped.
၃ဒါဝိဒ်ကသူ့အား``သင်သည်အဘယ်အရပ် ကလာသနည်း'' ဟုမေး၏။ ထိုသူက``ကျွန်တော်သည်ဣသရေလတပ်စခန်း မှထွက်ပြေးခဲ့ပါသည်'' ဟုဖြေကြား၏။
4 And David said to him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people have fled from the battle, and many of the people also have fallen, and are dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.
၄ဒါဝိဒ်က``အမှုကားအဘယ်သို့နည်း'' ဟု မေးလျှင်၊ လူငယ်က``ကျွန်တော်တို့၏တပ်မတော်သည် တပ်လန်၍သွားသဖြင့် လူအများကျဆုံး ကြပါသည်။ ရှောလုမင်းနှင့်သားတော်ယော နသန်တို့သည်လည်းအသတ်ခံရကြပါ ၏'' ဟုဆို၏။
5 And David said to the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead?
၅ဒါဝိဒ်က``ရှောလုနှင့်ယောနသန်ကွယ်လွန် ကြောင်းကိုသင်အဘယ်သို့သိသနည်း'' ဟု မေးလျှင်၊
6 And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.
၆ထိုသူငယ်က``ကျွန်တော်သည်ဂိလဗောတောင် ပေါ်တွင်ရှိနေခိုက်နှင့်ကြုံသဖြင့် ရှောလုမင်း သည်မိမိ၏လှံကိုမှီလျက်နေသည်ကိုလည်း ကောင်း၊ ရန်သူ၏စစ်ရထားများနှင့်မြင်းစီး သူရဲတို့သည်သူ၏အနီးသို့ချဉ်းကပ် လာကြသည်ကိုလည်းကောင်းမြင်ပါ၏။-
7 And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called to me. And I answered, Here [am] I.
၇ထိုအခါသူသည်နောက်သို့လှည့်ကြည့်လိုက် ရာကျွန်တော့်ကိုမြင်၍ခေါ်ပါ၏။ ကျွန်တော် က``ရောက်ပါပြီအရှင်'' ဟုထူးသောအခါ၊-
8 And he said to me, Who [art] thou? And I answered him, I [am] an Amalekite.
၈မင်းကြီးသည်ကျွန်တော်အားမည်သူဖြစ် သည်ကိုမေးတော်မူသဖြင့် ကျွန်တော်က အာမလက်ပြည်သားဖြစ်ကြောင်းဖြေ ကြားလျှောက်ထားပါ၏။-
9 He said to me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life [is] yet whole in me.
၉ထိုအခါမင်းကြီးက``ငါသည်ပြင်းစွာဒဏ် ရာရသဖြင့်သေခါနီးပြီ။ ထို့ကြောင့်လာ ၍ငါ့အားသတ်လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူပါ၏။-
10 So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he had fallen: and I took the crown that [was] upon his head, and the bracelet that [was] on his arm, and have brought them hither to my lord.
၁၀မင်းကြီးလဲလျှင်လဲချင်းသက်တော်ဆုံး တော့မည်ကိုသိသဖြင့်ကျွန်တော်သည်သူ့ အားသတ်ပြီးလျှင် သူ၏ဦးခေါင်းမှသရဖူ နှင့်လက်မောင်းမှလက်ကောက်တော်ကိုဖြုတ် ၍အရှင့်ထံသို့ယူဆောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်'' ဟု လျှောက်၏။
11 Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that [were] with him:
၁၁ဒါဝိဒ်နှင့်သူ၏လူတို့သည်ဝမ်းနည်းကြေကွဲ သည့်အနေဖြင့် မိမိတို့၏အဝတ်များကို ဆုတ်ဖြဲကြ၏။-
12 And they mourned and wept, and fasted until evening, for Saul and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they had fallen by the sword.
၁၂သူတို့သည်စစ်ပွဲတွင်ရှောလုနှင့်ယောနသန် မှစ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား၏လူမျိုးတော်ဖြစ် သောဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့မြောက်မြား စွာကျဆုံးသောကြောင့် ညဥ့်ဦးတိုင်အောင် အစာမစားဘဲငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းကြ၏။
13 And David said to the young man that told him, Whence [art] thou? And he answered, I [am] the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.
၁၃သတင်းယူဆောင်လာသူလူငယ်အားဒါဝိဒ် က``သင်သည်အဘယ်ပြည်သားနည်း'' ဟုမေး လျှင်၊ ``ကျွန်တော်သည်အာမလက်ပြည်သားဖြစ် ပါ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်အရှင်၏ပြည်တွင်နေထိုင် ပါသည်'' ဟုပြန်၍လျှောက်၏။
14 And David said to him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thy hand to destroy the LORD'S anointed?
၁၄ဒါဝိဒ်က``သင်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ထာဝရ ဘုရားဘိသိက်ပေးတော်မူသောဘုရင်ကို သတ်ဝံ့ပါသနည်း'' ဟုဆိုပြီးလျှင်ငယ်သား တစ်ယောက်ကိုခေါ်၍``ဤသူကိုကွပ်မျက်ပစ် လော့'' ဟုအမိန့်ပေးရာ၊-
15 And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, [and] fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
၁၅ငယ်သားသည်အာမလက်အမျိုးသားကို ခုတ်သတ်လေ၏။-
16 And David said to him, Thy blood [be] upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD'S anointed.
၁၆ဒါဝိဒ်က``ဤအမှုသည်သင်ပြုသောအမှု ပင်ဖြစ်၏။ သင်သည်ထာဝရဘုရားဘိသိက် ပေးတော်မူသောဘုရင်ကိုသတ်ခဲ့ပါသည် ဟုဖြောင့်ချက်ပေးခြင်းအားဖြင့် မိမိကိုယ် ကိုသေဒဏ်သင့်စေပြီတကား'' ဟုဆို၏။
17 And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul, and over Jonathan his son:
၁၇ဒါဝိဒ်သည်ရှောလုနှင့်ယောနသန်တို့အတွက် အောက်ပါသီချင်းကိုဖွဲ့ဆို၏။
18 (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah [the use of] the bow: behold, [it is] written in the book of Jasher.)
၁၈ယင်းကိုယုဒပြည်သူတို့အားလည်းသင်ကြား ပေးရန်အမိန့်ပေး၏။ (ဤအကြောင်းအရာ ကိုယာရှာစာစောင်တွင်မှတ်တမ်းတင်ထား သတည်း။)
19 The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!
၁၉``ငါတို့ခေါင်းဆောင်များကားဣသရေလ တောင်ကုန်းများတွင်သေဆုံးကြလေပြီ။ သူရဲကောင်းကြီးများကျဆုံးကြလေပြီ။
20 Tell [it] not in Gath, publish [it] not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
၂၀ထိုသတင်းကိုဂါသမြို့၌သော်လည်းကောင်း အာရှကေလုန်မြို့လမ်းများပေါ်၌သော်လည်း ကောင်း မပြောကြားကြနှင့်။ ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသမီးတို့ဝမ်းမြောက်ခွင့်မရ ကြစေနှင့်။ ဘုရားမဲ့သူတို့၏သမီးများရွှင်မြူးခွင့်မရ ကြစေနှင့်။
21 Ye mountains of Gilboa, [let there be] no dew, neither rain upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, [as though he had] not [been] anointed with oil.
၂၁``ဂိလဗောတောင်ကုန်းများပေါ်၌ မိုးမရွာနှင်းမကျပါစေနှင့်။ ထိုတောင်ကုန်းများမှလယ်ယာများသည် ထာဝစဉ်အသီးအနှံကင်းမဲ့ပါစေသော။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ထိုအရပ်သည် သူရဲကောင်းတို့၏ဒိုင်းလွှားများအသရေ ပျက်၍ ကျန်ရစ်ရာ၊ ရှောလု၏ဒိုင်းလွှားသံချေးတက်လျက်နေရာ ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်တည်း။
22 From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
၂၂ခွန်အားကြီးသူတို့ကိုပစ်ခတ်ရာတွင်လည်း ကောင်း၊ ရန်သူကိုသတ်ဖြတ်ရာတွင်လည်းကောင်း၊ ယောနသန်၏လေးသည်အာနိသင်ထက်လှ၍ ရှောလု၏ဋ္ဌားသည်သနားညှာတာမှုမရှိ။
23 Saul and Jonathan [were] lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
၂၃``အံ့သြနှစ်သက်ဖွယ်ကောင်းသောရှောလုနှင့် ယောနသန်တို့သည်ရှင်အတူသေမကွဲ လင်းယုန်ငှက်ထက်လျင်မြန်၍ခြင်္သေ့ထက် ခွန်အားကြီးကြပါသည်တကား။
24 Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with [other] delights, who put ornaments of gold upon your apparel.
၂၄``ဣသရေလအမျိုးသမီးတို့၊ရှောလုအတွက် ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းကြလော့။ သူသည်သင်တို့အားကမ္ဗလာနီထည်ကို ဝတ်ဆင်စေ၍ ကျောက်မျက်ရတနာ၊ရွှေတန်ဆာဖြင့် ဆင်ယင်ပေးတော်မူ၏။
25 How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan [thou wast] slain in thy high places.
၂၅သူရဲကောင်းစစ်သည်တော်တို့ကျဆုံး ကြလေပြီ။ သူတို့သည်တိုက်ပွဲတွင်အသတ်ခံရကြ၏။ ယောနသန်သည်တောင်ကုန်းများပေါ်တွင် လဲ၍သေနေလေပြီ။
26 I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been to me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.
၂၆``ငါ့ညီယောနသန်၊ငါသည်သင့်အတွက် ဝမ်းနည်းကြေကွဲပါ၏။ ငါသည်သင့်ကိုလွန်စွာချစ်မြတ်နိုးပါ၏။ ငါ့အပေါ်၌သင်ထားရှိသောမေတ္တာသည် အံ့သြဖွယ်ကောင်း၍ အမျိုးသမီးတို့၏မေတ္တာထက်ပင်လွန်ကဲ ပါပေသည်။
27 How have the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!
၂၇``သူရဲကောင်းစစ်သည်တော်တို့သည် ကျဆုံးကြလေပြီ။ သူတို့၏လက်နက်များသည်စွန့်ပစ်ခြင်းကိုခံရ၍ အသုံးမဝင်ကြတော့သည်တကား။''
