2 Kings 9
1 And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said to him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead:
Kemudian nabi Elisa memanggil salah seorang dari rombongan nabi dan berkata kepadanya: "Ikatlah pinggangmu, bawalah buli-buli berisi minyak ini dan pergilah ke Ramot-Gilead.
2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;
Apabila engkau sampai ke sana, carilah Yehu bin Yosafat bin Nimsi; masuklah, ajak dia bangkit dari tengah-tengah temannya dan bawalah dia ke ruang dalam.
3 Then take the box of oil, and pour [it] on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
Kemudian ambillah buli-buli berisi minyak itu, lalu tuangkan isinya ke atas kepalanya dan katakan: Beginilah firman TUHAN: Telah Kuurapi engkau menjadi raja atas Israel! Sesudah itu bukalah pintu, larilah dan jangan berlambat-lambat."
4 So the young man, [even] the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.
Lalu nabi muda itu pergi ke Ramot-Gilead.
5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host [were] sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, To which of us all? And he said, To thee, O captain.
Setelah ia sampai, maka tampaklah panglima-panglima tentara sedang duduk berkumpul. Lalu ia berkata: "Ada pesan kubawa untukmu, ya panglima!" Yehu bertanya: "Untuk siapa dari kami sekalian?" Jawabnya: "Untukmu, ya panglima!"
6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, [even] over Israel.
Lalu bangkitlah Yehu dan masuk ke dalam rumah. Nabi muda itu menuang minyak ke atas kepala Yehu serta berkata kepadanya: "Beginilah firman TUHAN, Allah Israel: Telah Kuurapi engkau menjadi raja atas umat TUHAN, yaitu orang Israel.
7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.
Maka engkau akan membunuh keluarga tuanmu Ahab dan dengan demikian Aku membalaskan kepada Izebel darah hamba-hamba-Ku, nabi-nabi itu, bahkan darah semua hamba TUHAN.
8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab the males, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:
Dan segenap keluarga Ahab akan binasa; dan Aku akan melenyapkan dari pada Ahab setiap orang laki-laki, baik yang tinggi maupun yang rendah kedudukannya di Israel.
9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:
Dan Aku akan memperlakukan keluarga Ahab sama seperti keluarga Yerobeam bin Nebat dan sama seperti keluarga Baesa bin Ahia.
10 And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and [there shall be] none to bury [her]. And he opened the door, and fled.
Izebel akan dimakan anjing di kebun di luar Yizreel dengan tidak ada orang yang menguburkannya." Kemudian nabi itu membuka pintu, lalu lari.
11 Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and [one] said to him, [Is] all well? Why came this mad [man] to thee? And he said to them, Ye know the man, and his communication.
Apabila Yehu keluar mendapatkan pegawai-pegawai tuannya, berkatalah seorang kepadanya: "Apa kabar? Mengapa orang gila itu datang kepadamu?" Jawabnya kepada mereka: "Kamu sendiri mengenal orang itu dengan omongannya!"
12 And they said, [It is] false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus he spoke to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.
Tetapi mereka berkata: "Dusta! Cobalah beritahukan kepada kami!" Lalu katanya: "Begini-beginilah dikatakannya kepadaku: Demikianlah firman TUHAN: Telah Kuurapi engkau menjadi raja atas Israel."
13 Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put [it] under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.
Segeralah mereka masing-masing mengambil pakaiannya dan membentangkannya di hadapan kakinya begitu saja di atas tangga, kemudian mereka meniup sangkakala serta berseru: "Yehu raja!"
14 So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had kept Ramoth-gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.
Demikianlah Yehu bin Yosafat bin Nimsi mengadakan persepakatan melawan Yoram. --Adapun Yoram sedang berjaga-jaga di Ramot-Gilead, bersama-sama dengan segenap orang Israel menghadapi Hazael, raja Aram.
15 But king Joram had returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it is your minds, [then] let none go forth [nor] escape from the city to go to tell [it] in Jezreel.
Tetapi raja Yoram sendiri telah pulang ke Yizreel, supaya luka-lukanya diobati, yang ditimbulkan orang Aram pada waktu ia berperang melawan Hazael, raja Aram. --Yehu berkata: "Jika kamu sudah setuju, janganlah biarkan siapapun meloloskan diri dari kota untuk memberitahukan hal itu ke Yizreel."
16 So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Joram.
Kemudian Yehu naik kereta dan pergi ke Yizreel, sebab Yoram berbaring sakit di sana. Juga Ahazia, raja Yehuda, datang menjenguk Yoram.
17 And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, [Is it] peace?
Ketika jaga yang sedang berdiri di atas menara di Yizreel, melihat pasukan Yehu datang, berserulah ia: "Ada kulihat suatu pasukan." Berkatalah Yoram: "Ambillah seorang penunggang kuda, suruhlah ia menemui mereka serta menanyakan: apakah ini kabar damai?"
18 So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he doth not return.
Lalu pergilah penunggang kuda itu untuk menemuinya dan berkata: "Beginilah tanya raja: apakah ini kabar damai?" Jawab Yehu: "Damai? Bukan urusanmu! Baliklah, ikutlah aku!" Dan jaga itu memberitahukan: "Suruhan sudah sampai kepada mereka, tetapi ia tidak pulang."
19 Then he sent out a second on horseback, who came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.
Disuruhnyalah penunggang kuda yang kedua dan setelah sampai kepada mereka berkatalah ia: "Beginilah tanya raja: apakah ini kabar damai?" Jawab Yehu: "Damai? Bukan urusanmu! Baliklah, ikutlah aku!"
20 And the watchman told, saying, He came even to them, and doth not return? and the driving [is] like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.
Dan jaga itu memberitahukan: "Sudah sampai ia kepada mereka, tetapi ia tidak pulang! Dan cara memacunya adalah seperti cara Yehu, cucu Nimsi, memacu, sebab ia memacu seperti orang gila."
21 And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.
Sesudah itu berkatalah Yoram: "Pasanglah kereta!", lalu orang memasang keretanya. Maka keluarlah Yoram, raja Israel, dan Ahazia, raja Yehuda, masing-masing naik keretanya; mereka keluar menemui Yehu, lalu menjumpai dia di kebun Nabot, orang Yizreel itu.
22 And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, [Is it] peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the lewd acts of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts [are so] many?
Tatkala Yoram melihat Yehu, bertanyalah ia: "Apakah ini kabar damai, hai Yehu?" Jawabnya: "Bagaimana ada damai, selama sundal dan orang sihir ibumu Izebel begitu banyak!"
23 And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, [There is] treachery, O Ahaziah.
Segera Yoram berputar dan mau melarikan diri sambil berseru kepada Ahazia: "Itu tipu, Ahazia!"
24 And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.
Tetapi Yehu menarik busurnya dengan sepenuh kekuatannya, lalu memanah Yoram di antara kedua bahunya, sehingga anak panah itu menembus jantungnya, maka rebahlah ia di dalam keretanya.
25 Then said [Jehu] to Bidkar his captain, Take up, [and] cast him into the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him;
Kemudian berkatalah Yehu kepada Bidkar, perwiranya: "Angkat dan lemparkanlah mayatnya ke kebun Nabot, orang Yizreel itu, sebab ketahuilah, bahwa pada waktu aku dan engkau berdampingan menunggang kuda mengikuti Ahab, ayahnya, maka TUHAN telah mengucapkan terhadap dia hukuman ini:
26 Surely I saw yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take [and] cast him into the plat [of ground], according to the word of the LORD.
Sesungguhnya, Aku telah melihat darah Nabot dan darah anak-anaknya tadi malam, demikianlah firman TUHAN, maka Aku akan membalaskannya kepadamu di kebun ini, demikianlah firman TUHAN. Oleh sebab itu angkat dan lemparkanlah mayatnya ke kebun ini, sesuai dengan firman TUHAN."
27 But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw [this], he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. [And they did so] at the going up to Gur, which [is] by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.
Ketika Ahazia, raja Yehuda, melihat itu, maka iapun melarikan diri ke arah Bet-Hagan, tetapi Yehu mengejarnya sambil berkata: "Panahlah dia juga!" Maka mereka memanah dia di atas keretanya di pendakian ke Gur dekat Yibleam. Ia lari ke Megido dan mati di sana.
28 And his servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his sepulcher with his fathers in the city of David.
Para pegawainya mengangkut mayatnya ke Yerusalem, lalu mereka menguburkan dia dalam kuburnya sendiri, di samping nenek moyangnya di kota Daud.
29 And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.
Adapun Ahazia menjadi raja atas Yehuda dalam tahun kesebelas zaman Yoram bin Ahab.
30 And when Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard [of it]; and she painted her face, and adorned her head, and looked out at a window.
Sampailah Yehu ke Yizreel. Ketika Izebel mendengar itu, ia mencalak matanya, dihiasinyalah kepalanya, lalu ia menjenguk dari jendela.
31 And as Jehu entered the gate, she said, [Had] Zimri peace, who slew his master?
Pada waktu Yehu masuk pintu gerbang, berserulah Izebel: "Bagaimana, selamatkah Zimri, pembunuh tuannya itu?"
32 And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who [is] on my side? who? And there looked out to him two [or] three eunuchs.
Yehu mengangkat kepalanya melihat ke jendela itu dan berkata: "Siapa yang di pihakku? Siapa?" Dan ketika dua tiga orang pegawai istana menjenguk kepadanya,
33 And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and [some] of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trod her under foot.
ia berseru: "Jatuhkanlah dia!" Mereka menjatuhkan dia, sehingga darahnya memercik ke dinding dan ke kuda; mayatnyapun terinjak-injak.
34 And when he had come in, he ate, and drank, and said, Go, see now this cursed [woman], and bury her: for she [is] a king's daughter.
Yehu masuk ke dalam, lalu makan dan minum. Kemudian ia berkata: "Baiklah urus mayat orang yang terkutuk itu dan kuburkanlah dia, sebab ia memang anak raja."
35 And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of [her] hands.
Mereka pergi untuk menguburkannya, tetapi mereka tidak menjumpai mayatnya, hanya kepala dan kedua kaki dan kedua telapak tangannya.
36 Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This [is] the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
Mereka kembali memberitahukannya kepada Yehu, lalu ia berkata: "Memang begitulah firman TUHAN yang diucapkan-Nya dengan perantaraan hamba-Nya, Elia, orang Tisbe itu: Di kebun di luar Yizreel akan dimakan anjing daging Izebel;
37 And the carcass of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; [so] that they shall not say, This [is] Jezebel.
maka mayat Izebel akan terhampar di kebun di luar Yizreel seperti pupuk di ladang, sehingga tidak ada orang yang dapat berkata: Inilah Izebel."
