< 2 Kings 21 >

1 Manasseh [was] twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Hephzi-bah.
Minaaseen yeroo mootii taʼetti nama waggaa kudha lama ture; innis Yerusaalem keessa taaʼee waggaa shantamii shan bulche. Maqaan haadha isaa Hefziibaa ture.
2 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
Innis waan jibbisiisaa saboota Waaqayyo fuula Israaʼelootaa duraa ariʼee baase sanaa duukaa buʼuudhaan fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa hojjete.
3 For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served them.
Inni iddoowwan sagadaa kanneen abbaan isaa Hisqiyaas diigee ture sana illee deebisee ni ijaare; akkasumas akkuma Ahaab mootichi Israaʼel godhe sana Baʼaaliif iddoowwan aarsaa tolchee siidaa Aasheeraas ni dhaabe. Raayyaawwan samii hundaafis ni sagade; isaan waaqeffates.
4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
Innis mana qulqullummaa Waaqayyoo kan Waaqayyo, “Ani Maqaa koo Yerusaalem keessa nan dhaaba” jedhee waaʼee isaa dubbate sana keessatti iddoowwan aarsaa tolche.
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
Oobdiiwwan mana qulqullummaa Waaqayyoo lamaanuu keessattis raayyaawwan samii hundaaf iddoowwan aarsaa ni tolche.
6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he committed much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke [him] to anger.
Inni ilma ofii isaa ibiddaan aarsaa godhee dhiʼeesse; tolcha hojjetee, milkii ilaallatee, ilaaltotaa fi eker dubbistoota gorsa gaafate. Inni fuula Waaqayyoo duratti hammina guddaa ni hojjetee akkasiin dheekkamsaaf isa kakaase.
7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
Innis fakkii Asheeraa kan soofee hojjete sana fuudhee mana qulqullummaa kan Waaqayyo akkana jedhee waaʼee isaa Daawitii fi ilma isaa Solomoonii dubbatee ture sana keessa kaaʼe; “Mana qulqullummaa kana keessaa fi Yerusaalem ishee ani gosoota Israaʼel hunda keessaa filadhe sana keessa Maqaa koo bara baraan nan dhaaba.
8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
Yoo isaan waan ani isaan ajaje hunda hojjetanii Seera garbichi koo Museen isaaniif kenne guutuu eegan, ani siʼachi akka miilli Israaʼelootaa biyya ani abbootii isaaniitiif kenne keessaa baʼee jooru hin godhu.”
9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
Namoonni garuu hin dhaggeeffanne. Minaaseen karaa irraa isaan jalʼise; kanaafuu isaan saboota Waaqayyo fuula Israaʼelootaa duraa balleesse sana caalaa hammina hojjetan.
10 And the LORD spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,
Waaqayyo karaa garboota isaa raajotaatiin akkana jedhee dubbate;
11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, [and] hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, who [were] before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
“Minaaseen mootichi Yihuudaa cubbuu jibbisiisaa kanneen hojjeteera. Innis Amoorota isaan dura jiraatan caalaa waan hamaa hojjete; waaqota tolfamoo isaatiinis Yihuudaa cubbuu hojjechiise.
12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I [am] bringing [such] evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
Kanaafuu Waaqayyo Waaqni Israaʼel akkana jedha: Ani waan hamaa nama isa dhagaʼu hunda suukaneessu tokko Yerusaalemii fi Yihuudaatti nan fida.
13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as [a man] wipeth a dish, wiping [it], and turning [it] upside down.
Ani funyoo Samaariyaatii fi tumbii mana Ahaab sana Yerusaalem irratti nan diriirsa. Akkuma namni caabii haxaaʼee gad gombisutti ani Yerusaalemin haxaaʼee nan gombisa.
14 And I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
Ani hambaa dhaala koo dhiisee harka diinota isaaniitti dabarsee nan kenna. Isaanis diinota isaanii hundaan ni saamamu; ni boojiʼamus.
15 Because they have done [that which was] evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.
Isaan gaafa abbootiin isaanii Gibxii baʼanii jalqabee hamma harʼaatti fuula koo duratti waan hamaa hojjechuudhaan dheekkamsaaf na kakaasaniiruutii.”
16 Moreover, Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; besides his sin with which he made Judah to sin, in doing evil in the sight of the LORD.
Kana caalaas Minaaseen akka warri Yihuudaa fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa hojjetan godhee cubbuu isaan hojjechiisuu isaa irra iyyuu dhiiga namoota balleessaa hin qabnee baayʼee dhangalaasee akka Yerusaalem daangaa tokkoo hamma daangaa kaaniitti dhiigaan guutamtu godheera.
17 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
Wantoonni bara mootummaa Minaasee keessa hojjetaman kanneen biraa, wanni inni hojjete hundi, cubbuu inni hojjete dabalatee seenaa mootota Yihuudaa keessatti barreeffamaniiru mitii?
18 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
Minaaseen abbootii isaa wajjin boqotee iddoo biqiltuu masaraa mootummaa isaa keessatti, iddoo biqiltuu Uzaa keessatti ni awwaalame. Ilmi isaa Aamoonis iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe.
19 Amon [was] twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
Aamoon yeroo mootii taʼetti umuriin isaa waggaa digdamii lama ture; innis Yerusaalem keessa taaʼee waggaa lama bulche. Maqaan haadha isaa Meshulemet ture; isheenis intala Haaruus nama biyya Yoxbaa turte.
20 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
Innis akkuma abbaan isaa Minaaseen hojjetee ture sana fuula Waaqayyoo duratti waan hamaa hojjete.
21 And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshiped them:
Innis karaa abbaa isaa hunda irra deeme; waaqota tolfamoo abbaan isaa waaqeffate illee waaqeffatee isaaniifis sagade.
22 And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
Inni Waaqayyo Waaqa abbootii isaa dhiise; karaa Waaqayyoo irras hin deemne.
23 And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
Qondaaltonni Aamoon isatti mariʼatanii masaruma mootummaa isaa keessatti mooticha ni ajjeesan.
24 And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
Kana irratti namoonni biyya sanaa warra Aamoon mootichatti malatan hunda fixanii ilma isaa Yosiyaasin immoo iddoo isaa mootii godhatan.
25 Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
Wanni bara mootummaa Aamoon keessa hojjetame kan biraa, wanni inni hojjetes kitaaba seenaa mootota Yihuudaa keessatti barreeffameera mitii?
26 And he was buried in his sepulcher in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
Innis awwaala isaa kan iddoo biqiltuu Uzaa keessatti ni awwaalame. Ilmi isaa Yosiyaasis iddoo isaa buʼee mootii taʼe.
