2 Kings 15

1 In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

௧இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் இருபத்தேழாம் வருட ஆட்சியில், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அமத்சியாவின் மகன் அசரியா ராஜாவானான்.

2 Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

௨அவன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது பதினாறு வயதாயிருந்து, ஐம்பத்திரண்டு வருடங்கள் எருசலேமிலே ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; எருசலேம் நகரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த அவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் எக்கோலியாள்.

3 And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;

௩அவன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய அமத்சியா செய்தபடியெல்லாம் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்தான்.

4 Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.

௪மேடைகள் மாத்திரம் அகற்றப்படவில்லை; மக்கள் இன்னும் மேடைகள்மேல் பலியிட்டுத் தூபம் காட்டிவந்தார்கள்.

5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and dwelt in a separate house. And Jotham the king's son [was] over the house, judging the people of the land.

௫யெகோவா இந்த ராஜாவை வாதித்ததால், அவன் தன் மரணநாள்வரை தொழுநோயாளியாக இருந்து, தனித்து ஒரு வீட்டிலே குடியிருந்தான்; ராஜாவின் மகனாகிய யோதாம் அரண்மனை விசாரிப்புக்காரனாயிருந்து, தேசத்தின் மக்களை நியாயம் விசாரித்தான்.

6 And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

௬அசரியாவின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

7 So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

௭அசரியா இறந்தபின், அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலே அவனுடைய முன்னோர்களுக்கு அருகில் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அவன் மகனாகிய யோதாம் அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

8 In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.

௮யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அசரியாவின் முப்பத்தெட்டாம் வருட ஆட்சியில் யெரொபெயாமின் மகனாகிய சகரியா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் சமாரியாவிலே ஆறு மாதங்கள் ஆட்சிசெய்து,

9 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

௯தன் முன்னோர்கள் செய்ததுபோல, யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவம்செய்யவைத்த நேபாத்தின் மகனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களைவிட்டு அவன் விலகவில்லை.

10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

௧0யாபேசின் மகனாகிய சல்லூம் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக சதித்திட்டம் தீட்டி, மக்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவனை வெட்டிக் கொன்றுபோட்டு, அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

11 And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold they [are] written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

௧௧சகரியாவின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகள் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

12 This [was] the word of the LORD which he spoke to Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth [generation]. And so it came to pass.

௧௨உன் மகன்கள் நான்காம் தலைமுறைவரை இஸ்ரவேலுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருப்பார்கள் என்று யெகோவா யெகூவோடே சொன்ன வார்த்தை இதுதான்; அப்படியே நிறைவேறியது.

13 Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.

௧௩யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய உசியாவின் முப்பத்தொன்பதாம் வருட ஆட்சியில் யாபேசின் மகனாகிய சல்லூம் ராஜாவாகி, சமாரியாவில் ஒரு மாதம் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்.

14 For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

௧௪காதியின் மகனாகிய மெனாகேம் திர்சாவிலிருந்து சமாரியாவுக்கு வந்து, யாபேசின் மகனாகிய சல்லூமை சமாரியாவிலே வெட்டிக் கொன்றுபோட்டு, அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

15 And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they [are] written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

௧௫சல்லூமின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த சதித்திட்டமும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

16 Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that [were] in it, and the borders of it from Tirzah: because they opened not [to him], therefore he smote [it]; [and] all the women in it that were with child he ripped up.

௧௬அப்பொழுது மெனாகேம் திப்சா பட்டணத்தையும், அதிலுள்ள யாவையும், திர்சா தொடங்கி அதின் எல்லைகளையும் தாக்கினான்; அவர்கள் தனக்கு வாசலைத் திறக்கவில்லையென்று அவர்களை வெட்டி, அவர்களுடைய கர்ப்பவதிகளின் கர்ப்பங்களையெல்லாம் கிழித்துப்போட்டான்.

17 In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, [and reigned] ten years in Samaria.

௧௭யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அசரியாவின் முப்பத்தொன்பதாம் ஆளுகை வருடத்தில், காதியின் மகனாகிய மெனாகேம் இஸ்ரவேல்மேல் ராஜாவாகி சமாரியாவிலே பத்துவருடங்கள் அரசாட்சிசெய்து, அவன் தன் நாட்களிலெல்லாம் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.

18 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

௧௮இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவம்செய்யவைத்த நேபாத்தின் மகனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களைவிட்டு விலகாதிருந்தான்.

19 [And] Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

௧௯அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய பூல், தேசத்திற்கு விரோதமாக வந்தான்; அப்பொழுது மெனாகேம் பூலின் உதவியினால் அரசாட்சியை தன் கையில் பலப்படுத்துவதற்காக, அவனுக்கு ஆயிரம் தாலந்து வெள்ளி கொடுத்தான்.

20 And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, [even] of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.

௨0இந்தப் பணத்தை அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவிற்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி, மெனாகேம் இஸ்ரவேலில் பலத்த ஐசுவரியவான்களிடத்தில் ஆள் ஒன்றிற்கு ஐம்பது வெள்ளிச் சேக்கல் சுமத்தினான்; அப்படியே அசீரியாவின் ராஜா தேசத்திலே நிற்காமல் திரும்பிப்போனான்.

21 And the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

௨௧மெனாகேமின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

22 And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.

௨௨மெனாகேம் இறந்தபின், அவனுடைய மகனாகிய பெக்காகியா அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

23 In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, [and reigned] two years.

௨௩யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அசரியாவின் ஐம்பதாம் வருட ஆட்சியில், மெனாகேமின் மகனாகிய பெக்காகியா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவாகி சமாரியாவிலே இரண்டுவருடங்கள் அரசாட்சிசெய்து,

24 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

௨௪யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; அவன் இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவம்செய்யவைத்த நேபாத்தின் மகனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களைவிட்டு விலகவில்லை.

25 But Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the palace of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his room.

௨௫ஆனாலும் ரெமலியாவின் மகனாகிய பெக்கா என்னும் அவனுடைய அதிகாரி அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக சதித்திட்டம் தீட்டி, கீலேயாத் மனிதர்களில் ஐம்பதுபேரைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, அவனையும் அர்கோபையும் ஆரியேயையும் ராஜாவின் வீடாகிய அரண்மனையிலே சமாரியாவில் வெட்டிக் கொன்றுபோட்டு, அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

26 And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they [are] written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

௨௬பெக்காகியாவின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

27 In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, [and reigned] twenty years.

௨௭யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அசரியாவின் ஐம்பத்திரண்டாம் வருட, ரெமலியாவின் மகனாகிய பெக்கா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவாகி சமாரியாவிலே இருபதுவருடங்கள் அரசாட்சிசெய்து,

28 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

௨௮யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவம்செய்யவைத்த நேபாத்தின் மகனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களைவிட்டு அவன் விலகவில்லை.

29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel-beth-maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.

௨௯இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய பெக்காவின் நாட்களில் அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய திகிலாத்பிலேசர் வந்து, ஈயோனையும், பெத்மாக்கா என்னும் ஆபேலையும், யனோவாகையும், கேதேசையும், ஆத்சோரையும், கீலேயாத்தையும், கலிலேயாவாகிய நப்தலி தேசமனைத்தையும் பிடித்து, குடிமக்களைச் சிறையாக அசீரியாவுக்குக் கொண்டுபோனான்.

30 And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

௩0ஏலாவின் மகனாகிய ஓசெயா ரெமலியாவின் மகனாகிய பெக்காவுக்கு விரோதமாக சதித்திட்டம் தீட்டி, அவனை உசியாவின் மகனாகிய யோதாமின் இருபதாம் வருடத்தில் வெட்டிக்கொன்றுபோட்டு, அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

31 And the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they [are] written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

௩௧பெக்காவின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel, began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.

௩௨இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய ரெமலியாவின் மகன் பெக்காவின் இரண்டாம் வருட ஆட்சியில், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய உசியாவின் மகன் யோதாம் ராஜாவானான்.

33 Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

௩௩அவன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது, இருபத்தைந்து வயதாயிருந்து, எருசலேமிலே பதினாறுவருடங்கள் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; சாதோக்கின் மகளாகிய அவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் எருசாள்.

34 And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.

௩௪அவன் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்தான்; தன் தகப்பனாகிய உசியா செய்தபடியெல்லாம் செய்தான்.

35 Yet, the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD.

௩௫மேடைகள் மாத்திரம் அகற்றப்படவில்லை; மக்கள் இன்னும் மேடைகளின்மேல் பலியிட்டுத் தூபம் காட்டிவந்தார்கள்; இவன் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தின் உயர்ந்த வாசலைக் கட்டினான்.

36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

௩௬யோதாமின் மற்ற செயல்பாடுகளும், அவன் செய்த யாவும், யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

37 In those days the LORD began to send against Judah, Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.

௩௭அந்நாட்களிலே யெகோவா சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ரேத்சீனையும், ரெமலியாவின் மகனாகிய பெக்காவையும் யூதாவுக்கு விரோதமாக அனுப்பத்தொடங்கினார்.

38 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: And Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

௩௮யோதாம் இறந்தபின். தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் பட்டணத்திலே தன் முன்னோர்களுக்கு அருகில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான்; அவனுடைய மகனாகிய ஆகாஸ் அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
