< 2 Chronicles 1 >

1 And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God [was] with him, and magnified him exceedingly.
Salomo, mwana mobali ya Davidi, alendisamaki makasi na bokonzi na ye, pamba te Yawe, Nzambe na ye, azalaki elongo na ye mpe akomisaki ye moto monene penza.
2 Then Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers.

3 So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that [was] at Gibeon: for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.

Na butu wana, Nzambe abimelaki Salomo mpe alobaki na ye: — Senga Ngai nyonso oyo olingi ete napesa yo.
8 And Solomon said to God, Thou hast shown great mercy to David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.
Salomo azongiselaki Nzambe: — Otalisi bolamu monene epai ya Davidi, tata na ngai, mpe otie ngai mokonzi na esika na ye.
9 Now, O LORD God, let thy promise to David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thy heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honor, nor the life of thy enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:
Nzambe alobaki na Salomo: — Lokola likambo oyo ezali posa ya motema na yo; lokola osengi bozwi te, bomengo to lokumu te to mpe kufa ya banguna na yo te; lokola osengi te bomoi molayi, kasi osengi bwanya mpe boyebi mpo na kotambolisa bato na Ngai, oyo natie yo mokonzi na bango,
12 Wisdom and knowledge [are] granted to thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had that [have been] before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.
bwanya mpe boyebi ekopesamela yo, mpe nakopesa yo lisusu bozwi, bomengo mpe lokumu oyo mokonzi moko te, liboso na yo, atikala kozwa, mpe mokonzi moko te, sima na yo, akotikala kozwa.
13 Then Solomon came [from his journey] to the high place that [was] at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.

17 And they fetched up, and brought out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred [shekels] of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty: and so they brought out [horses] for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means.
Bazalaki kosomba na Ejipito shar moko na motuya ya mbongo ya bibende ya palata, nkama motoba, mpe mpunda moko na motuya ya mbongo ya bibende, nkama moko na tuku mitano; bazalaki mpe kosomba yango mpo na bakonzi nyonso ya bato ya Iti mpe ya Siri.
