1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where [the LORD] appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
Nígbà náà, Solomoni bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ní kọ́ ilé Olúwa ní Jerusalẹmu lórí òkè Moria, níbi tí Olúwa ti farahan baba a rẹ̀ Dafidi. Ní orí ilẹ̀ ìpakà Arauna ará Jebusi, ibi tí Dafidi pèsè.
2 And he began to build in the second [day] of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
Ó bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí kíkọ́ rẹ̀ ní ọjọ́ kejì oṣù kejì ní ọdún kẹrin ìjọba rẹ̀.
3 Now these [are the things in which] Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure [was] sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
Ìpìlẹ̀ tí Solomoni gbé kalẹ̀ fún kíkọ́ ilé Ọlọ́run jẹ́ ọgọ́ta gígùn ìgbọ̀nwọ́ àti ogún fífẹ̀ ìgbọ̀nwọ́.
4 And the porch that [was] in the front [of the house], the length [of it was] according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the hight [was] a hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
Ìloro tí ó wà níwájú ilé Olúwa náà jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ní gígùn rékọjá fífẹ̀ ilé náà àti gíga rẹ̀ jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ní gígùn rékọjá fífẹ̀ ilé náà àti gíga rẹ̀ jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́. Ó tẹ́ inú rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú kìkì wúrà.
5 And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set on it palm trees and chains.
Ó fi igi firi bo ilé yàrá ńlá náà ó sì bò ó pẹ̀lú kìkì wúrà, ó sì ṣe é lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ pẹ̀lú igi ọ̀pẹ àti àwòrán ẹ̀wọ̀n.
6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold [was] gold of Parvaim.
Ó ṣe ilé Olúwa náà lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ pẹ̀lú òkúta iyebíye. Wúrà tí ó lò jẹ́ wúrà parifaimu.
7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls of it, and the doors of it, with gold; and engraved cherubim on the walls.
Ó tẹ́ àjà ilé náà pẹ̀lú ìtí igi àti ìlẹ̀kùn ògiri àti àwọn ìlẹ̀kùn ilé Olúwa pẹ̀lú wúrà, ó sì gbẹ́ àwòrán kérúbù sára ògiri.
8 And he made the most holy house, the length of which [was] according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth of it twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, [amounting] to six hundred talents.
Ó kọ́ Ibi Mímọ́ Jùlọ, gígùn rẹ̀ bá fífẹ̀ ilé Olúwa mu, ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́ fún gígùn, fífẹ̀ rẹ̀ sì jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́, ó tẹ́ inú rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ẹgbẹ̀ta tálẹ́ǹtì ti wúrà dáradára.
9 And the weight of the nails [was] fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
Ìwọ̀n àwọn ìṣó náà jẹ́ àádọ́ta ṣékélì. Ó tẹ́ àwọn apẹ òkè pẹ̀lú wúrà.
10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubim of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
Ní Ibi Mímọ́ Jùlọ, ó gbẹ́ àwòrán igi kérúbù kan, ó sì tẹ́ wọn pẹ̀lú wúrà.
11 And the wings of the cherubim [were] twenty cubits long: one wing [of the one cherub was] five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing [was likewise] five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
Iye ìyẹ́ apá ìbú àtẹ́lẹwọ́ lápapọ̀ ní ti kérúbù, jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ọ̀kan nínú ìyẹ́ apá ti kérúbù àkọ́kọ́ jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn-ún ní gígùn, ó sì farakan ògiri ilé Olúwa. Nígbà tí ìyẹ́ apá kejì jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn-ún ní gígùn ó sì, farakan ìyẹ́ apá kérúbù mìíràn.
12 And [one] wing of the other cherub [was] five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing [was] five cubits [also], joining to the wing of the other cherub.
Ní ìjọra, ìyẹ́ apá kan ti kérúbù kejì jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn-ún ní gígùn, ó sì farakan ògiri ilé Olúwa mìíràn; ìyẹ́ apá rẹ̀ mìíràn sì jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn ní gígùn pẹ̀lú tí ó farakan ìyẹ́ apá kérúbù àkọ́kọ́.
13 The wings of these cherubim spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces [were] inward.
Ìyẹ́ apá àwọn kérúbù wọ̀nyí gbà tó ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́. Wọ́n dúró ní ẹsẹ̀ wọn, wọ́n kọjú sí yàrá pàtàkì ńlá náà.
14 And he made the vail [of] blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubim upon it.
Ó ṣe aṣọ títa ní àwọ̀ ojú ọ̀run, àwọ̀ àlùkò àti àwọ̀ pupa fòò àti aṣọ ọ̀gbọ̀ pẹ̀lú kérúbù tí a ṣe sórí i rẹ̀.
15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the capital that [was] on the top of each of them [was] five cubits.
Níwájú ilé Olúwa náà ó ṣe òpó méjì tí lápapọ̀ jẹ́ márùn-ún dín lógójì ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ní gígùn, olúkúlùkù pẹ̀lú olórí lórí rẹ̀ tí o ń wọn ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn-ún.
16 And he made chains, [as] in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made a hundred pomegranates, and put [them] on the chains.
Ó ṣe ẹ̀wọ̀n tí a hun wọ inú ara wọn, ó gbé wọn ká orí òpó náà. Ó ṣe ọgọ́rùn-ún pomegiranate (orúkọ èso igi) ó sì so wọ́n mọ́ àwọn ẹ̀wọ̀n náà
17 And he erected the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
Ó gbe òpó náà dúró níwájú ilé Olúwa, ọ̀kan sí gúúsù, pẹ̀lú ọ̀kan sí àríwá. Èyí ti gúúsù, ó sọ ní Jakini àti èyí ti àríwá, ó sọ ní Boasi.
