< 1 Thessalonians 2 >

1 For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance to you, that it was not in vain:
Kulwo kubha emwe abhene mumenyele, abhaili, ati okuja kweswe kwemwe kwaliga kutali kwa kutye- ela.
2 But even after we had suffered before, and were shamefully treated, as ye know, at Phillippi, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God with much contention.
Mumenyele ati mubhwambilo chanyakile na bhachikolee kwa jinswalo elya Filipi, lwakutyo mumenyele. Chaliga chili no bhuyali mu Nyamuanga mu musango gwo bwana ogwa Nyamuanga nolwo mu nyako nyafu.
3 For our exhortation [was] not from deceit, nor from impurity, nor in guile;
Kulwo kubha obhusilisha bhweswe bhutakulubhana no bhubhibhi nolwo mu bhujabhi, nolwo mubhwilige-lige.
4 But as we were allowed by God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who trieth our hearts.
Amwi nejo, lwa kutyo chekilisibhwe na Nyamuanga no kwikilisibhwa kwo omusango gwo bhwana, nkokutyo echaikaga. Echaika, atali kulwo kubhakondelesha abhanu, mbe nawe okumukondelesha Nyamuanga. Omwenene enyele niwe unu katatilisha mu mitima jeswe.
5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God [is] witness:
Kulwo kubha chitatumie misango jo kwikuya mu mwanya gwona gwona, lwakutyo mumenyele, nolwo utatumie misango kuti chibheelesisho Cha inamba, Nyamuanga ni mubhambasi weswe.
6 Nor from men sought we glory, neither from you, nor [yet] from others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
Nolwo chitaigile ekusho kubhanu, nolwo okusoka kwimwe amwi okusoka ku bhandi. Chakatulile okutonga no okwendibhwa kuti Jintumwa eja Kristo.
7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
Chejile chamala nichibha bhololo agati yemwe uti Mai unu kasilisha abhana bhaye omwene.
8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted to you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear to us.
Munjila inu chaliga chili no kwenda kwimwe. Nikwo kutyo chabhasabhile okubha amwi atali kulwo musango gwo bhwana-la ogwa Nyamuanga nawe one no bhulame bhweswe eswe abhene. Kulwo kubha mwabhee abhendwa bheswe.
9 For ye remember, brethren, our labor and toil: for laboring night and day, because we would not be chargeable to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.
Kulwo kubha bhaili, omwichuka emilimu na jinyako jeswe. Mugeta na mumwisi chaliga nichikola emilimu koleleki chasiga kumtamilisha munu wona wona. Mumwanya ogwo, chabhasimuliye omusango gwo bhwana ogwa Nyamuanga.
10 Ye [are] witnesses, and God [also], how holily, and justly, and unblamably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
Emwe muli bhabhambasi, na Nyamuanga one, ni kwo bhulengelesi-ki, mu-chimali, no kubhulwa echilwala lwakutyo chalibhataga abhene imbele yemwe bhanu omwikilisha.
11 As ye know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father [doth] his children,
Kutyo nikwo bhili, mumenyele ati nikutiki ku bhuli umwi wemwe, lwa kutyo Lata ali ku bhana bhaye lwa kutyo chabhasimuliye no kubha simbagilisha omwoyo. Nchibhabhambalila
12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you into his kingdom and glory.
ati kwaliga kubheile okulibhata lwa muli okubhilikilwa kwemwe ku Nyamuanga, unu abhabhilikie mu bhukama na mwikusho lwaye.
13 For this cause also we thank God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard from us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but (as it is in truth) the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Kulwa insonga eyo echimusima Nyamuanga. one bhuli mwanya. Kulwo kubha mumwanya gunu mwamulamiye okusoka kwimwe emisango ja Nyamuanga lwa kutyo mwonguywe, mwalamiye gutali kuti musango gwa abhanamunu. Mbe nawe mwalamiye chimali kutyo bhili, omusango gwa Nyamuanga. Ni musango gunuogukola emilimu agati yemwe bhanu mwikilisishe.
14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things from your own countrymen, even as they [have] from the Jews:
Kulwejo emwe, Bhaili, mubhe bhanu bho kulubhilila amakanisa ga Nyamuanga ganu gali mu Bhuyaudi mu Kristo Yesu. Kulwo kubha emwe one mwanyasibhe mu misango jilya jilya okusoka ku bhanu bhemwe, lwakutyo jaliga jili okusoka ku Bhayaudi.
15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
Bhaliga bhali Bhayaudi nibho bhamwitile Latabhugenyi Yesu amwi na abhalagi. Ni Bhayaudi bhanu bhachibhilimishe okubha anja. Bhatamukondelesha Nyamuanga na nibhasoko ku bhanu bhona.
16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
Bhachiganyishe chisige okwaika na bhamaanga koleleki bhabhone okukisibhwa. Amwi nejo hi atii abhagendelela ne bhibhibhi bhyebhwe. Kubhutelo lisungu lyejile ingulu yebhwe.
17 But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
Eswe, Bhaili, chaliga chaukene nemwe kwo mwanya mufuyi, chimubhili, atali mu chinyamwoyo. Chakolele kwo bhutulo bheswe na mu lyenda ekulu kwo okulola obhusu bhweswe.
18 Wherefore we would have come to you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
kulwo kubha chaliga nichenda okuja kwemwe, Anye Paulo, mulugendo lumwi na lugendo lundi, mbe nawe Shetani anganyishe.
19 For what [is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? [Are] not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
Kulwo kubha mu is byikilisha kweswe katungu Kandi ni chinuki amwi bhukonde, amwi lutenga lwo mwikusho imbele ya Latabhugenyi weswe Yesu mu mwanya gwo kuja kwaye? Angu kwiya kafu atali emwe lwa kutyo bhali abhandi?
20 For ye are our glory and joy.
Kulwo kubha emwe mulikusho no kukondelwa kweswe.
