< 1 Samuel 29 >
1 Now the Philistines collected all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites encamped by a fountain which [is] in Jezreel.
Natonto’ o nte-Pilistio e Afeke eo ty valobohò’ iareo vaho nitobe marine i rano migoangoa’ Iezreeley o ana’ Israeleo.
2 And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rear with Achish.
Aa ie nandahatse o mpirai-lia’e zato naho arivoo o talèm-Pilistio, le nivoly i Akise t’i Davide naho ondati’eo.
3 Then said the princes of the Philistines, What [do] these Hebrews [here]? And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, [Is] not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell [to me] to this day?
Le hoe o talèm-Pilistio; Manao inoñ’ atoy o nte-Evreo? Le hoe ty natoi’ i Akise amo talèm-Pilistio, Tsy i Davide hao i mpitoro’ i Saoley nimpiamako tamy andro zay, o taoñe rezaoy? Ie mboe tsy nahatreavako hila mifototse amy nivotraha’e amako pake henaneo.
4 And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said to him, Make this man return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he should be an adversary to us: for with what would he reconcile himself to his master? [would it] not [be] with the heads of these men?
F’ie niboseha’ o talèm-Pilistio le hoe ty asa’ o talèm-Pilisitio ama’e: Ampolio hibalike mb’amy toetse natolo’o azey mb’eo tsy hindre aman-tika an-kotakotak’ ao tsy mone hivalike ho rafelahy t’ie mialy, inoñe ty ho fifampilongoañe soa ama’e naho i talè’ey naho tsy o loha’ ondaty retiañeo?
5 [Is] not this David, of whom they sung one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
Tsy ie hao i Davide nitakasie’ iereo an-tsinjake ty hoe: Zinama’ i Saole o arivo’eo naho i Davide o aleale’eo?
6 Then Achish called David, and said to him, Surely, [as] the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host [is] good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee from the day of thy coming to me to this day: nevertheless the lords favor thee not.
Kinoi’ i Akise ama’e amy zao t’i Davide le nanao ama’e ty hoe: Kanao veloñe t’Iehovà, vañon-drehe, le soa am-pahatreavako ty fiavota’o naho ty fimpolia’o amy valobohòkey pak’ amy ihe nindre amakoy; le tsy nahatrea hila ama’o iraho sikal’ amy andro nomba’o amako pake henaneo; f’ie tsy no’ o talèo.
7 Therefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.
Aa le mimpolia, le mañaveloa am-panintsiñañe, tsy hanjehara’o o talèm-Pilistio.
8 And David said to Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant, so long as I have been with thee to this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king.
Aa hoe t’i Davide amy Akise, Ino o nanoekoo? Ino ty nioni’o amy mpitoro’oy amo hene andro nindrezako ama’o pak’ androanio, te tsy hionjonako hialy amo rafelahin-talèko mpanjakao?
9 And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou [art] good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding, the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
Le hoe ty natoi’ i Akise amy Davide: Fantako t’ie soa am-pahatreavako, manahake ty anjelin’ Añahare; fe sinaotsi’ o talèm-Pilistio ty hoe t’ie tsy hitraok’ aman-tika hionjom-ban-kotakotake mb’eo.
10 Wherefore now rise early in the morning with thy master's servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye shall have risen early in the morning, and have light, depart.
Aa le mañaleñaleña rekets’ o mpitoro’ i talè nindre ama’oo; le mañampitsoa, ie mazava, le miavota.
11 So David and his men rose early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
Aa le niampitso t’i Davide, ie naho ondati’eo niavotse amy maraiñey, nimpoly mb’an-tane’ o nte-Pilistio mb’eo; vaho nionjomb’e Iezreele mb’eo o nte-Pilistio.
