< 1 Samuel 29 >
1 Now the Philistines collected all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites encamped by a fountain which [is] in Jezreel.
Ita, inummong dagiti Filisteo ti armadada idiay Afec; nagkampo dagiti Israelita iti igid ti ubbog nga adda idiay Jezreel.
2 And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rear with Achish.
Immuna a nagmartsa dagiti prinsipe dagiti Filisteo a ginasutgasut ken riniburibu; simmaruno da David ken dagiti tattaona a nagmartsa iti malikudan dagiti mangbanbantay kenni Akis.
3 Then said the princes of the Philistines, What [do] these Hebrews [here]? And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, [Is] not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell [to me] to this day?
Kalpasanna, kinuna dagiti prinsipe dagiti Filisteo, “Ania ti ar-aramiden dagiti Hebreo ditoy?” Kinuna ni Akis kadagiti dadduma a prinsipe dagiti Filisteo, “Daytoy a David nga adipen ni Saul nga ari ti Israel, a nakadkaduak agingga kadagitoy nga aldaw wenno agingga pay kadagitoy a tawtawen, ket awan masarakak a biddut kenkuana sipud pay immay.”
4 And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said to him, Make this man return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he should be an adversary to us: for with what would he reconcile himself to his master? [would it] not [be] with the heads of these men?
Ngem nakaunget dagiti prinsipe dagiti Filisteo kenkuana; kinunada kenkuana, “Papanawem dayta a tao, tapno agsubli iti lugarna nga intedmo kenkuana; saanmo nga itulok a kumuyog kadatayo iti paggugubatan, tapno saan nga agbalin a kabusortayo iti paggugubatan. Ta kasano koma a makikapia daytoy a tao iti apona? Saan kadi a babaen iti panangpapatayna kadagiti tattaotayo?
5 [Is] not this David, of whom they sung one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
Saan kadi a daytoy ti David a kankantaanda iti panagsalsalada, a kunkunada: 'Rinibu ti pinatay ni Saul ngem sangapulo a ribu kenni David?”'
6 Then Achish called David, and said to him, Surely, [as] the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host [is] good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee from the day of thy coming to me to this day: nevertheless the lords favor thee not.
Inayaban ngarud ni Akis ni David ket kinunana kenkuana, “Iti nagan ni Yahweh nga adda iti agnanayon, ammok a naimbagka, ket ti iyuumay ken ikukuyogmo kaniak iti armada ket nasayaat iti panagkitak; ta awan ti nasarakak a biddut kenka manipud iti aldaw nga immayka kaniak agingga iti daytoy nga aldaw. Nupay kasta, saan nga umanamong kenka dagiti prinsipe.
7 Therefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.
Isu nga ita agsublika ket mapanka a sitatalna tapno saanmo a mapagpungtot dagiti prinsipe dagiti Filisteo.
8 And David said to Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant, so long as I have been with thee to this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king.
Kinuna ni David kenni Akis, “Ngem ania kadi ti naaramidko? Ania ti nasarakam iti adipenmo sipud idi agingga ita nga aldaw, tapno saan a mabalin a makikuyogak a mapan makiranget kadagiti kabusor ti apok nga ari?”
9 And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou [art] good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding, the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
Simmungbat ni Akis ket kinunana kenni David, “Ammok nga awan ti pakapilawam iti imatangko a kas iti anghel ti Dios; nupay kasta, kinuna dagiti prinsipe dagiti Filisteo, 'Saan a mabalin a makikuyog isuna kadatayo a mapan makigubat.'
10 Wherefore now rise early in the morning with thy master's servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye shall have risen early in the morning, and have light, depart.
Isu nga ita, masapaka a bumangon inton bigat agraman dagiti adipen ti apom a simmurot kenka; apaman a makarubbuatkayo inton bigat, pumanawkayon.”
11 So David and his men rose early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
Isu a ni David, ken dagiti tattaona, nasapa a nagrubbuat tapno makasublida iti daga dagiti Filisteo. Ngem simmang-at dagiti Filisteo idiay Jezreel.
