< 1 Peter 2 >

1 Wherefore, laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil-speakings,
Lanyaapo yin ha mani mi biadima leni yi boandi kuli, leni pala lie yantiali leni li nunponbiadili leni ti sugidi buoli kuli.
2 As new-born babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Yi ya mali mi lie yin yaa bua mani U Tienu maama yaama n tie li dandanli naŋanma, nani acanpanda n bua mi biima maama yeni, ke yin fidi ki kpedi ki suagi liiga mi faabima sanu nni.
3 If indeed ye have tasted that the Lord [is] gracious.
Yin leni ki sua ke o Diedo mani yeni.
4 To whom coming [as to] a living stone, disallowed indeed by men, but chosen by God, [and] precious,
Yin ya nagidi mani okani wani yua n tie yaa tanli n fo bi nisaaliba n den luni yaali, ke U Tienu mo gandili ke li pia mayuli o nintuali.
5 Ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Yinba yaaba moko n tie nani yaa tana n fo yeni, teni mani ban maayi yin tua diegu U Tienu Fuoma yua ye kaanu. Lane yi baa tua kopadicianba yaaba n gagidi U Tienu po, ki padi opo ya pada n gagidi ki go mani opo kelima Jesu Kilisiti yaapo.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner-stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
Kelima idiani nni li yedi: Diidi n bili siyono dogu nni li tanpuuli tanjigu min gandi yaali ke li tie tanmoanli, yua ndugi li po kuli kan fiagi.
7 To you therefore who believe [he is] precious: but to them who are disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
Yaaba n daani yaapo li tie jigidi tanli, ama yaaba n kaa daani yaapo, li tie bi tan maaba n den luni yaa tanli li ntua li tanpuuli tanjigi.
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, [even to them] who stumble at the word, being disobedient: to which also they were appointed.
9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
Ama yinba wani tie ban den gandi yaa nibuolu, ke yi tie obado diegu yaaba, ki tie o kopadicianba, ke ogagidi ki hanbi yi o yuceli po. O yini yi ke yin ña li biigili nni ki kua o yenma yaama n hani cain nni, ke yin yaa wangi o tuona yaa n hani boncianla.
10 Who in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
N buakaaba n tundi yi, yinba yaaba n tie canba leni sancenba ki tinga po. Yin foagidi leni ti gbannandi bonbuakaala, yaala n tiendi bu toabu leni yi naani yaa bonbuakaala.
12 Having your manner of life honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evil-doers, they may by [your] good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Lanwani yin ya pia mani u tagihamu yaaba n kaa daani siiga, baa bi ya jaligidi yi ke yi tiedi yaala n bia ban le yi tagihamu ki kpiagi U Tienu o cuama daali.
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether to the king, as supreme;
Kelima oDiedo yaapo yin miinni yi yula bi nisaaliba n dini yaa badi ba kuli nintuali, lan tie mi diema badiciamo yua n tugi li yuli,
14 Or to governors, as to them that are sent by him for the punishment of evil-doers, and for the praise of them that do well.
bi lan tie gufeneelinba kani wan soani yaaba ban yaa pa yaaba n tiedi mi biadima bi biadima panpaani ki yaa pagi yaaba n tiedi a tuonhanma.
15 For so is the will of God, that with well-doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
Kelima U Tienu bua yin ya tiedi yaala n hani ki fidi ki mubini bi yanboandanba leni bi yanluodanba ñoana.
16 As free, and not using [your] liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
17 Honor all [men]. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
18 Servants, [be] subject to [your] masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
Yinba bi naacenba yin yaa fangi yi canbaan ba, laa tie yaaba yaa tagi dingi bebe ka, ama baa yaaba yaa tagi n juagi moko.
19 For this [is] thank-worthy, if a man for conscience towards God endureth grief, suffering wrongfully.
20 For what glory [is it], if, when ye are buffeted for your faults, ye bear it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer [for it], ye bear it patiently, this [is] acceptable with God.
A ya tieni yaala n bia ke bi waani a fala a baa ba be kpiagide lienni? Ama yi ya tieni yaala n hani ke bi waani yi fala kelima yi tieni yaala n hani po, laa bonla pia ti kpiagidi hali bonciala U Tienu nintuali.
21 For even to this were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
Kelima bi den yini yi lanyaapo yo, kelima Kilisiti moko den laa fala yi yaapo ki ha yipo li nannanli ke yin hoadi o yaa taa buona nni.
22 Who committed no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Wani yua n ki den tieni tuonbiadi baa yenma ke boandi ba mo ki maani ki ña oñoabu nni.
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judgeth righteously:
Ban den sugidi o, waa sugi ki pani, ban den pua o waa pua ki pani, ama o den teni O yuli yua n ja ti buudu leni mi teginma.
24 Who himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.
Wani n den tugi ti tuonbiadi ogbannandi nni ku daagu po, ke tinba yaaba n den kpe kelima ti tuonbiadi po yeni tin yaa ji fo mi teginma nni, wani yua yaa poagilima po ke yi paagi.
25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned to the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Yi den tie nani yaa pe n yaadi yeni ama moala yi guani oyankpaalo kani wani yua n guu yi naani.
