1 Kings 6
1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month of Zif, which [is] the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
Und es geschah im vierhundertachtzigsten Jahre nach dem Auszug der Söhne Israels aus dem Lande Ägypten, im vierten Jahre der Regierung Salomohs über Israel, im Monat Siv, das ist der zweite Monat, daß Salomoh baute das Haus dem Jehovah.
2 And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length of it [was] sixty cubits, and the breadth of it twenty [cubits], and the hight of it thirty cubits.
Und das Haus, das König Salomoh dem Jehovah baute, war sechzig Ellen in seiner Länge und zwanzig Ellen in seiner Breite und dreißig Ellen in seiner Höhe.
3 And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits [was] the length of it, according to the breadth of the house; [and] ten cubits [was] the breadth of it, before the house.
Und die Halle vor dem Tempel des Hauses war zwanzig Ellen in seiner Länge vor der Breite des Hauses, zehn Ellen in seiner Breite auf der Vorderseite des Hauses.
4 And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.
Und er machte Fenster an dem Hause, mit Querleisten verschlossen.
5 And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, [against] the walls of the house round about, [both] of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
Und er baute an der Wand des Hauses ringsumher Stockwerke, daß sie beides, an den Wänden des Hauses ringsumher um den Tempel und den Sprechort liefen, und machte Seitengemächer ringsum.
6 The nethermost chamber [was] five cubits broad, and the middle [was] six cubits broad, and the third [was] seven cubits broad: for without [in the wall] of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that [the beams] should not be fastened in the walls of the house.
Das untere Stockwerk hatte fünf Ellen in seiner Breite und das mittlere sechs Ellen in seiner Breite und das dritte sieben Ellen in seiner Breite; denn er machte Absätze außen am Hause ringsumher, auf daß sie nicht in die Wand des Hauses griffen.
7 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither; so that there was neither hammer nor ax [nor] any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
Und da das Haus gebaut wurde, ward es aus ganzen Steinen, wie sie herbeigeführt wurden, gebaut, und es wurden weder Hämmer noch Axt, irgendwelche eiserne Geräte im Hause während des Bauens gehört.
8 The door for the middle chamber [was] in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle [chamber], and out of the middle into the third;
Der Eingang des mittleren Seitengemaches war auf der rechten Seite des Hauses, und auf Wendeltreppen stiegen sie zu dem mittleren und aus dem mittleren zum dritten.
9 So he built the house and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.
Und er baute das Haus und vollendete es, und überdeckte das Haus mit Brettern und Balkenreihen aus Zedern.
10 And [then] he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.
Und er baute das Stockwerk an das ganze Haus, fünf Ellen in seiner Höhe, und es faßte das Haus mit Zederhölzern.
11 And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
Und es geschah das Wort Jehovahs zu Salomoh und sprach:
12 [Concerning] this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spoke to David thy father:
Dies ist das Haus, das du bauest: Wenn du wandelst in Meinen Satzungen und nach Meinen Rechten tust, und hältst alle Meine Gebote, daß du danach wandelst, dann werde Ich Mein Wort mit dir bestätigen, das Ich zu David, deinem Vater, geredet habe.
13 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
Und Ich werde wohnen inmitten der Söhne Israels, und Mein Volk Israel nicht verlassen.
14 So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
Und Salomoh baute das Haus und vollendete es.
15 And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the ceiling: [and] he covered [them] on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
Und er baute die Wände des Hauses inwendig mit Planken von Zedern; von der Flur des Hauses an bis zu den Wänden der Decke überzog er es von innen mit Holz, und überzog auch den Fußboden des Hauses mit Planken von Tannenholz.
16 And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built [them] for it within, [even] for the oracle, [even] for the most holy [place].
Und er baute zwanzig Ellen im Hinterteil des Hauses mit Planken von Zedern, von der Flur bis zu den Wänden, und baute daselbst inwendig den Sprechort, zum Allerheiligsten.
17 And the house, that [is], the temple before it, was forty cubits [long].
Und vierzig Ellen war das Haus, das ist der Tempel, nach vorne.
18 And the cedar of the house within [was] carved with knobs and open flowers: all [was] cedar; there was no stone seen.
Und die Zedern am Hause waren inwendig eingeschnitten mit Koloquinten und aufbrechenden Blumen; alles war aus Zedern, kein Stein war zu sehen.
19 And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
Aber den Sprechort inmitten des Hauses bereitete er innen, daß man dort die Lade des Bundes Jehovahs stelle.
20 And the oracle in the forepart [was] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the hight of it, and he overlaid it with pure gold; and [so] covered the altar [which was of] cedar.
Und vor dem Sprechort, der zwanzig Ellen Länge und zwanzig Ellen Breite und zwanzig Ellen in seiner Höhe hatte, überzog er dasselbe mit gediegenem Golde, und den Altar überzog er mit Zedern.
21 So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
Und Salomoh überzog das Haus inwendig mit gediegenem Gold, und zog vor dem Sprechort goldene Ketten und überzog dasselbe mit Gold.
22 And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that [was] by the oracle he overlaid with gold.
Und das ganze Haus überzog er mit Gold, das ganze Haus ganz und gar, auch den ganzen Altar bei dem Sprechort überzog er mit Gold.
23 And within the oracle he made two cherubim [of] olive tree, [each] ten cubits high.
Und für den Sprechort machte er zwei Cherube von Ölbaumholz, zehn Ellen in der Höhe.
24 And five cubits [was] the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing to the uttermost part of the other [were] ten cubits.
Und fünf Ellen hatte der Flügel des einen Cherubs und fünf Ellen der Flügel des zweiten Cherubs; es waren zehn Ellen vom Ende seiner Flügel bis zum anderen Ende seiner Flügel.
25 And the other cherub [was] ten cubits: both the cherubim [were] of one measure and one size.
Und zehn Ellen war der zweite Cherub; ein Maß und einerlei Form hatten die zwei Cherube;
26 The hight of the one cherub [was] ten cubits, and so [was it] of the other cherub.
Eine Höhe von zehn Ellen hatte der eine Cherub, und so auch der zweite Cherub.
27 And he set the cherubim within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubim, so that the wing of the one touched the [one] wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.
Und die Cherube gab er mitten inwendig in das Haus, und die Flügel der Cherube breiteten sich aus, und der Flügel des einen berührte die eine Wand und der Flügel des zweiten Cherubs berührte die andere Wand, und ihre Flügel nach der Mitte des Hauses berührten sich, Flügel an Flügel.
28 And he overlaid the cherubim with gold.
Und die Cherube überzog er mit Gold.
29 And he carved all the walls of the house around with carved figures of cherubim, and palm trees, and open flowers, within and without.
Und an allen Wänden des Hauses ringsum schnitt er eingeschnittenes Schnitzwerk ein von Cheruben und Palmen und aufbrechenden Blumen, innerhalb und außerhalb;
30 And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.
Und die Flur des Hauses überzog er mit Gold, innerhalb und außerhalb;
31 And for the entrance of the oracle he made doors [of] olive tree: the lintel [and] side-posts [were] a fifth part [of the wall].
Und den Eingang zum Sprechort machte er mit Flügeltüren von Ölbaumholz, den Vorsprung an den Pfosten machte er ein Fünftel.
32 The two doors also [were of] olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubim, and palm trees, and open flowers, and overlaid [them] with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubim, and upon the palm trees.
Und die zwei Flügeltüren von Ölbaumholz, und in sie schnitt er ein Schnitzwerk von Cheruben, Palmen und aufbrechenden Blumen, und überzog sie mit Gold, und schlug Gold auf die Cherube und die Palmen.
33 So also he made for the door of the temple posts [of] olive tree a fourth part [of the wall].
Und so machte er als Eingang zum Tempel Pfosten von Ölbaumholz aus dem Vierteile.
34 And the two doors [were of] fir tree: the two leaves of the one door [were] folding, and the two leaves of the other door [were] folding.
Und zwei Flügeltüren von Tannenholz. Zwei umschlagende Blätter an dem einen Türflügel, und zwei umschlagende Blätter an dem zweiten.
35 And he carved [thereon] cherubim, and palm trees, and open flowers; and covered [them] with gold, fitted upon the carved work.
Und er schnitt Cherube, Palmen und aufbrechende Blumen ein, und überzog sie mit Gold, geschlichtet auf das Eingegrabene.
36 And he built the inner court with three rows of hewn stone, and a row of cedar beams.
Und er baute den inneren Vorhof aus drei Reihen behauener Steine und einer Reihe Zedernbalken.
37 In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:
Im vierten Jahre im Monde Siv ward das Haus Jehovahs gegründet.
38 And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul (which [is] the eighth month) was the house finished throughout all its parts, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
Und im elften Jahre im Monde Bul, das ist der achte Monat, war das Haus vollendet in all seinen Dingen und nach allen seinen Rechten. Und er baute es in sieben Jahren.
