1 Kings 4

1 So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

೧ಸೊಲೊಮೋನ ರಾಜನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

2 And these [were] the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

೨ಅವನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಸ್ಥರು ಯಾರಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಯಾಜಕನು.

3 Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehosaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

೩ಶೀಷನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಎಲೀಹೋರೇಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಹೀಯಾಹು ಎಂಬುವರು ಲೇಖಕರು. ಅಹೀಲೂದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನು ಅವನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಯು.

4 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada [was] over the army: and Zadok and Abiathar [were] the priests:

೪ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆನಾಯನು ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿ. ಚಾದೋಕನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನೂ ಯಾಜಕರು.

5 And Azariah the son of Nathan [was] over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan [was] principal officer, [and] the king's friend:

೫ನಾತಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನು ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು. ನಾತಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜಾಬೂದನು ಯಾಜಕನೂ ಹಾಗು ಅರಸನ ಮಿತ್ರನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು.

6 And Ahishar [was] over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda [was] over the tribute.

೬ಅಹೀಷಾರನು ರಾಜಗೃಹಾಧಿಪತಿಯು. ಅಬ್ದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅದೋನೀರಾಮನು ಬಿಟ್ಟೀಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿಸುವವರ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು.

7 And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, who provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

೭ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಒಂದೊಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಬೇಕಾದ ಆಹಾರ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷವೂ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು.

8 And these [are] their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

೮ಅವರು ಯಾರಾರೆಂದರೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಪರ್ವತ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹೂರನ ಮಗ,

9 The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan:

೯ಮಾಕಾಚ್, ಶಾಲ್ಬೀಮ್, ಬೇತ್‌ಷೆಮೆಷ್‌, ಏಲೋನ್ ಬೇತ್ ಹಾನಾನ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ದೆಕೆರನ ಮಗನು.

10 The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him [pertained] Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:

೧೦ಅರುಬ್ಬೋತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹೆಸೆದನ ಮಗ, ಅವನು ಸೋಕೋ ಮತ್ತು ಹೇಫೆರ್ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

11 The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; who had Taphath the daughter of Solomon for a wife:

೧೧ದೋರ್ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಬೀನಾದಾಬನ ಮಗ, ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಟಾಫತಳು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.

12 Baana the son of Ahilud; [to him pertained] Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean, which [is] by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, [even] to [the place that is] beyond Jokneam:

೧೨ತಾಣಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಗಿದ್ದೋ, ಚಾರೆತಾನಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ಕೆಳಗಣಭಾಗಗಳೂ, ಬೇತ್ ಷೆಯಾನಿನಿಂದ ಆಬೇಲ್ ಮೆಹೋಲದವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವಂಥ ಯೊಕ್ಮೆಯಾನಿನ ಆಚೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಂಥ ಬೇತ್ ಷೆಯಾನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಹೀಲೂದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾಣಾ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

13 The son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him [pertained] the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which [are] in Gilead; to him [also pertained] the region of Argob, which [is] in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls and brazen bars:

೧೩ರಾಮೋತ್ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಗೆಬೇರನ ಮಗ, ಅವನು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಯೀರನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಿಗೂ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಅಗುಳಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಭದ್ರಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಅರವತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅರ್ಗೋಬ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

14 Ahinadab the son of Iddo [had] Mahanaim:

೧೪ಮಹನಯಿಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಇದ್ದೋವಿನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀನಾದಾಬನು.

15 Ahimaaz [was] in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon for a wife:

೧೫ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಹೀಮಾಚನು, ಅವನು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಬಾಸೆಮತಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.

16 Baanah the son of Hushai [was] in Asher and in Aloth:

೧೬ಅಶೇರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆಲೋತಿಗೂ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಹೂಷೈಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾಣನು,

17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

೧೭ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಫಾರೂಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನು,

18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

೧೮ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಏಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಿಮ್ಮೀ,

19 Geber the son of Uri [was] in the country of Gilead, [in] the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and [he was] the only officer who [was] in the land.

೧೯ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನ್, ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗ್ ಇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು ಅವನು ಊರಿಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆಬೆರ್ ಎಂಬುವವನು.

20 Judah and Israel [were] many, as the sand which [is] by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.

೨೦ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದ ಮರಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದರು. ಅವರು ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದಿದ್ದರು.

21 And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

೨೧ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮತ್ತು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ದೇಶಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳವರನ್ನು ಆಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಅವರು ಅವನ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿ ಕಪ್ಪಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

22 And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of meal.

೨೨ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಆಹಾರಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳು, ಮೂವತ್ತು ಕೋರ್ ಗೋದಿಯ ಹಿಟ್ಟು, ಅರುವತ್ತು ಕೋರ್ ಜವೆಗೋದಿಯ ಹಿಟ್ಟು,

23 Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and a hundred sheep, besides harts, and roebucks, and fallow-deer, and fatted fowls.

೨೩ಹತ್ತು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಎತ್ತುಗಳು, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎತ್ತುಗಳು, ನೂರು ಕುರಿಗಳು ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಡವೆ, ಜಿಂಕೆ, ಸಾರಂಗ, ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಕೋಳಿಗಳು ಇವುಗಳೇ.

24 For he had dominion over all [the region] on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side of the river: and he had peace on all sides around him.

೨೪ಅವನು ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿಯ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಪ್ಸಹು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಗಾಜದವರೆಗಿರುವ ಈಚೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರಿಗೂ ದೊರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಸುತ್ತಣ ರಾಜರೊಡನೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದಿದ್ದನು.

25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

೨೫ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದವರೆಗಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆ, ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡ ಇವುಗಳ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

೨೬ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಲಾಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ರಥಾಶ್ವಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವಿತ್ತು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುದುರೆಸವಾರರಿದ್ದರು.

27 And those officers provided victuals for king Solomon, and for all that came to king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.

೨೭ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕರು ತಮಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಪಂಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಆಹಾರ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಕೊರತೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

28 Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries they brought to the place where [the officers] were, every man according to his charge.

೨೮ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ರಥಾಶ್ವಗಳಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸವಾರಿಕುದುರೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಕವಾದಷ್ಟು ಜವೆಗೋದಿಯನ್ನು, ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ಕುದುರೆಗಳಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೇ ತಂದೊಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

29 And God gave Solomon great wisdom and understanding, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that [is] on the sea-shore.

೨೯ದೇವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ವಿವೇಕಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದ ಮರಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಅಪರಿಮಿತವಾದ ಮನೋವಿಶಾಲತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದನು.

30 And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

೩೦ಅವನ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಮೂಡಣದೇಶದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದುದಾಗಿತ್ತು.

31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.

೩೧ಅವನು‍ ಜೆರಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏತಾನ್, ಮಾಹೋಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಹೇಮಾನ್, ಕಲ್ಕೋಲ್, ದರ್ದ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಸುತ್ತಣ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಯಿತು.

32 And he spoke three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

೩೨ಅವನ ಜ್ಞಾನೋಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಮತ್ತು ಗೀತೆಗಳು ಸಾವಿರದ ಐದು.

33 And he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree that [is] in Lebanon even to the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spoke also of beasts, and of fowls, and of creeping animals, and of fishes.

೩೩ಅವನು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ದೇವದಾರು ವೃಕ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಗೋಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪ್ ಗಿಡದವರೆಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವನಸ್ಪತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶುಪಕ್ಷಿ, ಜಲಚರಗಳು, ಕ್ರಿಮಿಕೀಟಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸ ಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

34 And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.

೩೪ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಕೇಳಿದ ಅನೇಕ ರಾಜರೂ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರು ಅವನ ಜ್ಞಾನವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
