1 John 2
1 My little children, these things I write to you, that ye sin not. And if any man sinneth, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Copilașii mei, vă scriu aceste lucruri ca să nu păcătuiți. Dacă cineva păcătuiește, avem un sfătuitor la Tatăl, pe Isus Hristos, cel neprihănit.
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
El este jertfa de ispășire pentru păcatele noastre, și nu numai pentru ale noastre, ci și pentru cele ale întregii lumi.
3 And by this we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
Iată cum știm că îl cunoaștem: dacă păzim poruncile Lui.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Cine spune: “Îl cunosc” și nu-i păzește poruncile este un mincinos și adevărul nu este în el.
5 But whoever keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: by this we know that we are in him.
Dar dragostea lui Dumnezeu a fost cu siguranță desăvârșită în oricine îi păzește cuvântul. Iată cum cunoaștem că suntem în el:
6 He that saith he abideth in him, ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
cine spune că rămâne în el trebuie să umble și el însuși așa cum a umblat el.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning: The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
Fraților, nu vă scriu o poruncă nouă, ci o poruncă veche, pe care ați avut-o de la început. Vechea poruncă este cuvântul pe care l-ați auzit de la început.
8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
Vă scriu din nou o poruncă nouă, care este adevărată în el și în voi, pentru că întunericul trece și lumina cea adevărată strălucește deja.
9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
Cel care spune că este în lumină și urăște pe fratele său este în întuneric până acum.
10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.
Cine iubește pe fratele său rămâne în lumină și nu există în el niciun prilej de poticnire.
11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because darkness hath blinded his eyes.
Dar cel care își urăște fratele este în întuneric, umblă în întuneric și nu știe încotro se îndreaptă, pentru că întunericul i-a orbit ochii.
12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
Copilașilor, vă scriu vouă, pentru că păcatele v-au fost iertate pentru Numele Lui.
13 I write to you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
Vă scriu vouă, părinților, pentru că voi cunoașteți pe Cel ce este de la început. Vă scriu vouă, tinerilor, pentru că ați biruit pe cel rău. Vă scriu vouă, copilașilor, pentru că voi îl cunoașteți pe Tatăl.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
V-am scris vouă, părinților, pentru că voi cunoașteți pe Cel ce este de la început. V-am scris vouă, tineri, pentru că sunteți tari, pentru că cuvântul lui Dumnezeu rămâne în voi și l-ați biruit pe cel rău.
15 Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man loveth the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Să nu iubiți lumea și lucrurile din lume. Dacă cineva iubește lumea, dragostea Tatălui nu este în el.
16 For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
Căci tot ce este în lume — pofta cărnii, pofta ochilor și mândria vieții — nu este al Tatălui, ci al lumii.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust of it: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
Lumea trece cu poftele ei, dar cel care face voia lui Dumnezeu rămâne pentru totdeauna. (aiōn g165)
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist cometh, even now are there many antichrists; by which we know that it is the last time.
Copilașilor, acestea sunt vremurile de pe urmă și, după cum ați auzit că va veni Antihristul, chiar acum s-au ridicat mulți antihriști. Prin aceasta știm că este ceasul de pe urmă.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Ei au ieșit de la noi, dar nu ne aparțineau; căci, dacă ne-ar fi aparținut, ar fi continuat cu noi. Dar au plecat, ca să se arate că niciunul dintre ei nu ne aparține.
20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
Voi aveți o ungere de la Cel Sfânt și toți aveți cunoștință.
21 I have not written to you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
Nu v-am scris pentru că nu cunoașteți adevărul, ci pentru că îl cunoașteți și pentru că nicio minciună nu este din adevăr.
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Cine este mincinosul, dacă nu cel care neagă că Isus este Hristosul? Acesta este Antihristul, cel care îi neagă pe Tatăl și pe Fiul.
23 Whoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Cine îl neagă pe Fiul nu îl are pe Tatăl. Cel care Îl mărturisește pe Fiul Îl are și pe Tatăl.
24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
De aceea, să rămână în voi ceea ce ați auzit de la început. Dacă ceea ce ați auzit de la început rămâne în voi, și voi veți rămâne în Fiul și în Tatăl.
Aceasta este făgăduința pe care ne-a promis-o: viața veșnică. (aiōnios g166)
26 These [things] have I written to you concerning them that seduce you.
V-am scris aceste lucruri despre cei ce vor să vă ducă în rătăcire.
27 But the anointing which ye have received from him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man should teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
Cât despre voi, ungerea pe care ați primit-o de la el rămâne în voi și nu aveți nevoie ca cineva să vă învețe. Ci, așa cum ungerea lui vă învață despre toate lucrurile, și este adevărată și nu este minciună, și chiar așa cum v-a învățat el, veți rămâne în el.
28 And now, little children, abide in him; that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
Și acum, copilașilor, rămâneți în El, pentru ca, atunci când Se va arăta, să avem îndrăzneală și să nu fim rușinați înaintea Lui, la venirea Lui.
29 If ye know that he is righteous ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
Dacă știți că El este drept, știți că oricine practică dreptatea s-a născut din El.
