1 John 2
1 My little children, these things I write to you, that ye sin not. And if any man sinneth, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
१माझ्या प्रिय मुलांनो, तुम्ही पाप करू नये यासाठी मी तुम्हास या गोष्टी लिहीत आहे, पण जर तुम्हांपैकी एखादा पाप करतो तर त्याच्यासाठी पित्याजवळ आपला कैवारी येशू ख्रिस्त जो नीतिमान तो आहे.
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
२तो केवळ आमच्याच पापासाठी नव्हे तर सगळ्या जगाच्याही पापांबद्दल प्रायश्चित्त झाला आहे.
3 And by this we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
३जर आम्ही त्याच्या आज्ञा पाळतो तर आम्ही त्यास खऱ्या अर्थाने ओळखले आहे.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
४जो कोणी असे म्हणतो, “मी देवाला ओळखतो!” परंतु त्याच्या आज्ञा पाळत नाही तर तो खोटे बोलत आहे; आणि त्याच्याठायी सत्य नाही.
5 But whoever keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: by this we know that we are in him.
५पण जर कोणी त्याच्या वचनाप्रमाणे चालतो, तर त्यांच्यामध्ये देवाची प्रीती पूर्णत्वास गेली आहे. ह्यावरून आपल्याला कळून येते की, आपण त्याच्याठायी आहोत.
6 He that saith he abideth in him, ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
६मी देवामध्ये राहतो असे म्हणणाऱ्याने, जसा येशू ख्रिस्त चालला तसे चालले पाहिजे.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning: The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
७प्रियांनो, मी तुम्हास नवी आज्ञा लिहीत नाही, परंतु जी आज्ञा तुम्हास आरंभापासून देण्यात आली आहे तीच जुनी आज्ञा लिहितो; जे वचन तुम्ही ऐकले ते ती जुनी आज्ञा होय.
8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
८तरीही मी एकप्रकारे नवी आज्ञा लिहीत आहे. ती ख्रिस्तात आणि तुमच्यात सत्य आहे कारण अंधार नाहीसा होत आहे व खरा प्रकाश अगोदरपासूनच प्रकाशत आहे.
9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
९मी प्रकाशात आहे असे म्हणून जो आपल्या भावांचा द्वेष करतो तो अजून अंधारांतच आहे.
10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.
१०जो आपल्या भावावर प्रेम करतो तो प्रकाशात राहतो आणि त्याच्यामध्ये अडखळण्याचे कारण नसते.
11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because darkness hath blinded his eyes.
११पण जो आपल्या भावाचा द्वेष करतो तो अंधारात आहे. तो अंधारात जगत आहे व तो कोठे जात आहे हे त्यास कळत नाही कारण अंधाराने त्याचे डोळे आंधळे केलेले आहेत.
12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
१२प्रिय मुलांनो, मी तुम्हास लिहीत आहे कारण ख्रिस्ताच्या नावामुळे तुमच्या पापांची तुम्हास क्षमा झालेली आहे.
13 I write to you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
१३वडिलांनो, मी तुम्हास लिहितो कारण जो सुरुवातीपासून अस्तित्वात आहे, त्यास तुम्ही ओळखता. तरुणांनो, मी तुम्हास लिहीत आहे कारण दुष्टावर तुम्ही विजय मिळवला आहे. लहान मुलांनो, मी तुम्हास लिहीले आहे, कारण तुम्ही पित्याला ओळखता.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
१४वडिलांनो, मी तुम्हास लिहीत आहे कारण तुम्हास पिता माहीत आहे. वडिलांनो, मी तुम्हास लिहिले कारण जो सुरुवातीपासून अस्तित्वात आहे त्याची तुम्हास ओळख झाली आहे. तरुणांनो, मी तुम्हास लिहिले कारण तुम्ही बळकट आहात; देवाचे वचन तुमच्यामध्ये राहते कारण तुम्ही दुष्टावर मात केली आहे.
15 Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man loveth the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
१५जगावर किंवा जगातील गोष्टींवर प्रीती करू नका. जर कोणी जगावर प्रीती करीत असेल तर त्याच्याठायी पित्याची प्रीती नाही.
16 For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
१६कारण जगात जे सर्व आहे ते, म्हणजे देहाची वासना, डोळ्यांची वासना व संसाराविषयीची फुशारकी ही पित्यापासून नाहीत, तर जगापासून आहेत.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust of it: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
१७जग व जगातील वासना नाहीशा होत आहेत. पण जो देवाच्या इच्छेप्रमाणे करतो तो सर्वकाळपर्यंत जगेल. (aiōn g165)
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist cometh, even now are there many antichrists; by which we know that it is the last time.
१८मुलांनो, शेवट जवळ आला आहे व तुम्ही ऐकल्याप्रमाणे ख्रिस्तविरोधी येत आहेत आणि आताच पुष्कळ ख्रिस्तविरोधक उठले आहेत; ह्यावरून आपल्याला दिसून येते की, ही शेवटली घटका आहे.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
१९आपल्यातूनच ते निघाले तरी ते आपले नव्हते; ते आपले असते तर आपल्याबरोबर राहिले असते; त्यांच्यातील कोणीही आपला नाही हे प्रकट व्हावे म्हणून ते निघाले.
20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
२०पण जो पवित्र त्याच्यापासून तुमचा आत्म्याने अभिषेक केला आहे म्हणून तुम्हा सर्वांना सत्य माहीत आहे.
21 I have not written to you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
२१तुम्हास सत्य कळत नाही म्हणून मी तुम्हास लिहीले आहे असे नाही, तुम्हास ते कळते म्हणून आणि कोणतीही लबाडी सत्यापासून नाही, म्हणून लिहिले आहे.
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
२२येशू हा ख्रिस्त आहे असे नाकारणारा लबाड नाही काय? जो पित्याला आणि पुत्राला नाकारतो तोच ख्रिस्तविरोधी आहे.
23 Whoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
२३जो कोणी पुत्राला नाकारतो त्यास पिता लाभत नाही पण जो पुत्राला स्वीकारतो त्यास पिता लाभला आहे.
24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
२४तुमच्याविषयी जे म्हणावयाचे तर, जे तुम्ही आरंभापासून ऐकले ते तुम्हामध्ये राहो. जे तुम्ही आरंभापासून ऐकले ते जर तुम्हामध्ये राहिले, तर तुम्हीही पुत्रामध्ये व पित्यामध्ये रहाल.
२५आणि देवाने आम्हास जे देण्याचे अभिवचन दिले आहे ते म्हणजे सार्वकालिक जीवन होय. (aiōnios g166)
26 These [things] have I written to you concerning them that seduce you.
२६जे तुम्हास फसविण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत आहेत त्यांच्याविषयी मी तुम्हास या गोष्टी लिहीत आहे.
27 But the anointing which ye have received from him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man should teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
२७पण तुम्हाविषयी म्हणावयाचे तर, त्याच्याकडून तुमचा अभिषेक झाला तो तुम्हामध्ये राहतो, तेव्हा तुम्हास कोणी शिकविण्याची गरज नाही, त्याचा अभिषेक तो सत्य आहे, खोटा नाही तुम्हास सर्व गोष्टींविषयी शिकवितो त्याप्रमाणे व त्याने तुम्हास शिकविल्याप्रमाणे तुम्ही त्यांच्यामध्ये राहा.
28 And now, little children, abide in him; that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
२८म्हणून आता, प्रिय मुलांनो, ख्रिस्तामध्ये राहा, यासाठी की, जेव्हा ख्रिस्त प्रकट होइल, तेव्हा आम्हास धैर्य मिळेल व जेव्हा तो परत येतो तेव्हा त्याच्याद्वारे आम्ही लज्जित केले जाणार नाही.
29 If ye know that he is righteous ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
२९जर तुम्हास माहीत आहे की, ख्रिस्त नीतिमान आहे तर जे लोक चांगले काम करतात ते देवाचे पुत्र आहेत हे देखील तुम्हास कळेल.
