1 Corinthians 12
1 Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
Про духовне ж браттє, не хочу, щоб ви не знали.
2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
Ви знаєте, що як були ви поганами, то до ідолів безголосих воджено вас, мов ведених.
3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
Тим кажу вам, що нїхто, Духом Божим глаголючи, не проклинає Ісуса, і нїхто не може назвати Господа Ісуса, як тільки Духом сьвятим.
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
Між даруваннями в ріжниця, Дух же той самий.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
І ріжниця між служеннями, а той самий Господь.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who worketh all in all.
І ріжниця між роботами, один же Бог, що робить усе у всіх.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man for profit.
Кожному ж дасть ся явленнє Духа на користь.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another, the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
Тому бо Духом дасть ся слово премудрости, другому слово знання тим же Духом;
9 To another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
иншому ж віра тим же Духом; иншому ж дарування сцїлення тим же Духом;
10 To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits; to another, [divers] kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of languages:
иншому ж робленнє чудес; иншому ж пророкуваннє; иншому розпізнаваннє духів; иншому ж усякі мови; иншому виклади мів (язиків).
11 But all these worketh that one and the same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
Все ж се дїйствує один і той же Дух, уділяючи кожному, яко ж хоче.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.
Як бо тіло одно, а членів має багато, всі ж члени одного тїла, хоч багато їх, а одно тїло, так і Христос.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Бо одним Дихом усї ми в одно тїло хрестились, чи то Жиди, чи Греки, чи невільники, чи вільні, і всі одним Духом напоєнї.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
Бо тїло не єсть один член, а многі.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
Коли скаже нога: я не рука, от же я не від тїла, то хиба через се не єсть від тїла?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
І коли скаже ухо: я не око, то ж я не від тїла, то хиба через те не єсть від тїла?
17 If the whole body [were] an eye, where [were] the hearing? If the whole [were] hearing, where [were] the smelling?
Коли б усе тїло (було) око, де ж (був би) слух? Коли б усе слух, де понюх?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
Та Бог розложив члени кожного по одному з них в тїлї, яко ж схотів.
19 And if they were all one member, where [were] the body?
Коли ж би все (було) один член, то де (було б) тїло?
20 But now [are they] many members, yet but one body.
Тепер же багато членів, а тїло одно.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Не може ж око сказати руці: Не треба мені тебе; або знов голова ногам: Не треба мені вас.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
Нї, которі члени тїла здають ся слабшими, ті тим більше потрібні;
23 And those [members] of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness.
і которі здають ся нам неповажнїшими в тїлї, тим більше чести додаємо, і менше чесні наші (члени) більшу окрасу приймають.
24 For our comely [parts] have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that [part] which lacked:
Звичайним бо нашим того не треба. Та Бог зложив тїло, давши більшу честь послїднїйшому,
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
щоб не було розділення в тїлї, а щоб члени однаково один про одного дбали.
26 And thus if one member suffers all the members suffer with it; or, if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
І коли терпить один член, терплять з ним усі члени; а коли славить ся один член, радують ся з ним усї члени.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Ви ж тїло Христове і члени від части (з особна).
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of languages.
І инших поставив Бог у церкві найперш апостолів, вдруге пророків, втретє учителів, потім сили, а там даровання, сцїлення, помагання, порядкування, всякі мови.
29 [Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles?
Хиба всї апостоли? хиба всі пророки? хиба всї учителі? хиба всї сили?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak in languages? do all interpret?
хиба всї мають дарованнє сцїлення? хиба вони всї глаголють мовами? хиба всї викладають?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts. And yet I show to you a more excellent way.
Жадайте ж дарувань луччих, і я покажу вам ще кращу дорогу.
