Titus 2

1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

ⲁ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲉϣϣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥⲃⲱ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲟϫ.

2 That the aged men be sober minded, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

ⲃ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲗ̅ⲗⲟ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲧⲟⲣϩ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲙⲛⲟⲥ. ⲛ̅ⲣⲙ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ. ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟϫ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ. ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ. ϩⲛ̅ⲑⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ.

3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

ⲅ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲗ̅ⲗⲱ ⲟⲛ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲉⲓϩⲉ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲛ̅ⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ. ⲉⲛⲥⲉⲟ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ϩⲙ̅ϩⲁⲗ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲏⲣⲡ̅ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ. ⲛ̅ⲣⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ.

4 That they may teach the young women to be sober minded, to love their husbands, to love their children,

ⲇ̅ϫⲉ ⲉⲩⲉⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉⲛ̅ϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ. ⲉⲣ̅ⲙⲁⲓ̈ⲡⲉⲩϩⲁⲓ̈. ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲓ̈ⲛⲉⲩϣⲏⲣⲉ.

5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

ⲉ̅ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲃⲏ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ. ⲛ̅ⲣⲉϥⲧⲉϣⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ. ⲉⲩϩⲩⲡⲟⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩϩⲁⲓ̈. ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩϫⲓⲟⲩⲁ ⲉⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ.

6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

ⲋ̅ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲟⲛ ϣⲏⲙ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲉⲣ̅ⲣⲙ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ.

7 In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing integrity, gravity, sincerity,

ⲍ̅ⲉⲕⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲕ ⲛ̅ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ϩⲛ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ. ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩ. ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥⲃⲱ ⲁϫⲛ̅ⲫⲑⲟⲛⲓ. ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲧⲃ̅ⲃⲟ. ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲥⲉⲙⲛⲟⲥ.

8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say concerning you.

ⲏ̅ⲛ̅ⲟⲩϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟϫ. ⲁϫⲛ̅ⲁⲣⲓⲕⲉ. ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲧϯ ⲟⲩⲃⲏⲛ ϫⲓϣⲓⲡⲉ. ⲉⲙⲛ̅ⲧϥ̅ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϫⲱ ⲉⲣⲟⲛ.

9 Exhort servants to be obedient to their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

ⲑ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲙ̅ϩⲁⲗ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩϩⲩⲡⲟⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩϫⲓⲥⲟⲟⲩⲉ. ⲉⲩⲣ̅ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ϩⲛ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ. ⲉⲛⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱϩⲙ̅ ⲁⲛ.

10 Not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

ⲓ̅ⲉⲛⲥⲉϩⲉⲡⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ. ϫⲉⲕⲁⲁⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲕⲟⲥⲙⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥⲃⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲛ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ.

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲧⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (aiōn g165)

ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲉⲥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ. ϫⲉⲕⲁⲁⲥ ⲉⲁⲛⲕⲱ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲛ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲛ̅ⲧϣⲁϥⲧⲉ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ ⲛ̅ⲕⲟⲥⲙⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲛ̅ⲧⲛ̅ⲱⲛϩ̅ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲣⲙ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ. ⲙⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓ̈ⲁⲓⲱⲛ. (aiōn g165)

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲉⲛϭⲱϣⲧ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲏⲧⲥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲕⲁⲣⲓⲟⲥ. ⲙⲛ̅ⲡⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟϭ ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ⲙⲛ̅ⲡⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅.

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself his own special people, zealous of good works.

ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲁϥ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲛ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲁⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲥⲟⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϥ̅ⲧⲃ̅ⲃⲟⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲧⲟⲩⲏⲧ. ⲛ̅ⲣⲉϥⲕⲱϩ ⲉϩⲉⲛϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩ·

15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ϫⲱ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲅ̅ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲁⲗⲉⲓ ⲛⲅ̅ϫⲡⲓⲟ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ. ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲧⲣⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲕ.
